About This File

FOR THE OLD GODS : A FORSWORN STORY

 

I : The First point

  • This mod is finished, but some bugs are still here. I'm trying to fix them.
  • It's a very huge quest mod
  • Female player and magic focused mod, but male path is available
  • Forsworns are tribals who worship daedras. Their purposes and way of life are strange (and horrible) for other Skyrim inhabitants. AFS contains gore, cannibalism, bestiality, rape, slavery. Some characters are very cruels (Phage, Moira), totaly monstuous (Rathi, Drana), or have strange tastes (Katalia, Ethrane). Some quests are really disturbed. Don't drink it if it's not your cup of tea.
  • Lot of easter eggs : Lovecraft, Game of Thrones, Antic history, Russian mythology...
  • The mod contains also lot of spells, lot of new cells, a complete small world, new outfits, and of course lot of NPCs !


Current release : 1.8, which will include last AqqH modifications !

How to use ?
- Unzip the archive, and copy paste in your skyrim data folder ZaForswornStory.esp, and meshes, SEQ, textures, scripts... due to the mod complexity, it's splitted in several archives.

The source archive is only needed for modders.
 
How to delete ?
- Save when you're not in a mod quest or in a mod space, and delate all the files.

 

 
II : Mod description :

A story and a serie of quests (more then 40 !) centered on Forsworns.
I like Forsworns, but I was very disapointed : they are underexploited in Skyrim.

  • They are the better faction for implementing shamanism stuff
  • They fit lot of Loverlabs purposes
  • Their way of life and history is like a black state
  • Potential for implement kirmishes, Game of Throne stuff, etc...
  • More outfit are needed to reflect the tribes hierarchy.

 

Driven by Katalia and her friends, you will discover the life of Forsworns accross the Reach. Be hired by Zenoby, in Riverwood Inn, to join the adventure.


1 : Prologue :

  • AFS1Begin : Hired by Zenoby, and East Empire Company executive, you will face how imperials treats the Reachmen...
  • AFS1FollowKatalia : help Katalia to escape, and prove your will to join the tribes by completing some tasks.

Alternative start : suceed to escape Cidhna mine with Madanach alive. You will receive a letter later... Scripts redone from scratch.

Alternarive start planned : wildling, you were raised by a pack of wolves, and you will join the forsworns.

 


2 : Shamanic initiation and Tribes life

3 : Learning the ways :

 

  • AFS3WaysTrial : as a shamab, you will need to complete some side quests, and suceed into the ways trial.

 

At the end of the quest, you will need to talk to Katalia, Ethrane or Moira to choose a way. Katalia will lead you to the Koldunic way, Ethrane to the Primal way, and Moira to the Hagraven way. Three ways are available : Koldun (flesh crafter witch), Primal shaman (beastess like), and Hagraven (I nreally need to explain ?).Each ways offer different powers (Hagraven are the more offensive, Primals interract withs animals by sex spells, Kolduns are polyvalents). All the ways witches have special outfits to reflect their statut.

  • AFS4Koldun : With Katalia, complete Frisson rituals. Eat human flesh, have sex with Devoreirs, pray Shub Niggurath, and receive your outfit and your powers.
  • AFS4Primal : with Ethrane, complete Arlwyn rituals, have lot of sex with spriggans and make the bound with other primal shamans. Receive your outfit and your powers.
  • AFS4Hagraven : with Moira, complete the cruel Melka rituals, have sex with werewolves to make your pact with Hircine. Receive your outfit and your powers.

 

There are also lot of AFS3 side quests (tagged AFS3SideQSuest), all accross the Reach. Some of them are also available for BriarHeart.

All the ways lead to the same quest : AFS4LoreGrove. All teachers will lead to this sacred cave to face the old gods, but something happened.

 

Werewolves have also the quest AFS4Werewolf, wich lead the player to build a couple relation ship with the Red Riding Hood (Katalia cousin)

At a point, werewolf player will need to choose between be only with the Red Riding Hood, or build an Harem by seducing some women accross the Reach.

The mod Lore :

 

The mod tribes and NPCs names are based on Germanic and Celtic ones.

 

The Tribes 

Due to their losses during the prise of Markarth by Ulfric Stormcloak, two tribes, more religious than other forsworns ones, decide to go back to an ancestral valley : the Marses and the Sicambres. They are actually leaded by a BriarHeart named Armin, and some shamans : Badycia, Thusnelda, Frisson, Arlwyn

  • Marses have red tattoos, and practices ritual cannibalism. They worship Shub Niggurath, as an avatar of Namira and Hircine. Katalia, Badycia, Brenus, Braith, Frisson and Vulkos are Marses.
  • Sicambres have green tattoos, and have a strong link to nature thought their sexual practices. They worship Kyne. Armin, Thusnelda, Ethrane, Najade, Knyva, Arlwyn and Samarie are Sicambres

 

Vanilla Forsworns tribes have also some NPCS, as the antogonist factions.

 

The NPCs :

The mod add more than 50 NPCs to Skyrim. The more importants are :

- Katalia. The "cute cannibal", and the "tutorial character".

- Ethrane, the "lusty huntress".

- Moira, a cruel beggar girl, apprentice of Ascula and Phage.

- Phage, the cruel shaman of Karshpire (thanks AqqH !).

- Ravena, an old witch who lives in a caban on the valley (thanks AqqH !).

- Drana, an babba yaga like Hagraven who knows lot of things about Werewolfs and Briarheart.

- Armin, the Marses and Sicambres chief.

- Badycia, shaman of the Marses, and Katalia's mother

- The Red Riding Hood, a girl who like Werewoves, cousin of Katalia.
