Although I really like the old version I'm sad to hear the new one didn't work out. Thanks for all the work you put into the site! -
Deviously Cursed Loot 5.1 (2015-11-23)
GrimReaperCalls replied to Kimy's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
PC Exclusive Animation path (PCEA) is incompatible, it edits the child races and removes the "Child" tag. There is a work-around, although I am unsure of the consequences (at first glance it seems to be working just fine, but I have not played for an extensive amount of time since I did the edit). The work-around is simply to undo that specific change to child races done by PCEA. I'd suggest using TESVEdit to do this, as it's faster than using the Creation Kid. Pinute posted a very helpful way of determining incompatibilities and addressing these. Worth mentioning; I had to make sure that all the child races had the "Child" tag, not just Nord children. -

Also having the problem with DCUR refusing to start due to male character/child edits, but I have no idea which mods that would be. Spent a few hours trying to find the culprit. I've checked the previous load orders posted and noticed a few mods in common, the X denotes which ones I have tried disabling: Could PC Exclusive Animation path be causing DCUR to think it's a male character? Since we don't know specifically what your mod is checking for it'll be difficult for us to troubleshoot the issue ourselves. -
Sounds a bit like the Slut Madness function of Devious Devices - More Devious Quests here on LL.

Skyrim Crashes when trying to save..
GrimReaperCalls replied to Jay1646's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
I have been encountering similar issues these last few days, sleeping/waiting has the same effect and the contents of our papyrus logs are very similar in nature. To me it happened randomly from one minute to the next and I'm currently trying to figure out what is causing it. The problem has arisen twice now on different characters, one was a newly created one. In both instances it happened after being sent to Faldar's Tooth on a Captured Dreams quest, on the first save it started crashing after I had entered and left the fort, on the second character I could get back to the CD shop, hand the quest in, and then the save-crashes started. Are you using in of the following mods? - More Nasty Critters (latest) / SexLab Nude Creatures / Creature Framework - Captured Dreams - Sanguines Debauchery + - Untamed - SexLab Hormones -
Aye, armors have to be made specifically to support it. Essentially, parts of the armors have to be "weighted" or "flagged" that they should move in a specific way, which is done by linking it to certain parts of the skeleton. The skeleton allows animations to control the armor. Supported armor mods usually have "BBP" in their titles, so doing a normal search for the term "BBP" on Nexus should give you quite a few alternatives. Armors with "TBBP" (a variant of BBP) will also work with the HDT extension. There are ways of adding BBP functionality to armors if they don't have it, such as the weighting function of BodySlide 2 by Caliente. You can of course use 3ds Max as well, if you're already familiar with and have access to it. Have fun .

If you didn't already know, the Ningheim Race uses a custom skeleton, while the XP32 skeleton mod only replaces the skeleton of vanilla races, so you have to replace the Ningheim skeleton manually. After installing the XP32 skeleton, copy "skeleton_female.nif" and "skeleton_female.hkx" from the folder "meshes\actors\character\character_assets_female\" to "meshes\actors\character\Ningheim\female\character_assets_female" and replace them. Backing up the old ones might be a good idea. The Skyrim Technical Support forum is your best bet for future tech support . Edit: Not sure why it doesn't play the BBP animations properly though if you installed a BBP version of the Ningheim race. BBP will only work if you use animations that support it, have you got BBP supported animations installed?
-
Ah, well I personally used Victoria High Heel Walk animation for BBP walk animation before switching to havok. I'm not sure but I think Feminine Running and New Dash Animation has BBP support as well. I now use havok physics-based movement, or HDT Physics. The advantage is that this doesn't require any tailor-made animations for the extra movement, instead it uses Skyrim's physics engine to simulate the movement. The disadvantage is that it can affect performance and is a bit trickier to install. There's a very Extensive HDT tutorial in the HDT subforum (Skyrim Adult mods -> HDT Physics Extension), detailing all about how to set it up and what it actually is.

I'm fairly sure about the tails and ears, only vague guesses for the rest. The Kitsune tails and ears look like they're from this pack (the Kitsune specifically is not shown in the screenshots but it's included in the mod if memory serves me): HDT Tails Wearable The belly piercing could be from Elewin Jewelry - Piercings for UNP, at least something similar. The shoes & stockings might be from Elewin Pumps 2, don't know since I haven't used that.

Two mods using the belly node
GrimReaperCalls replied to Antonio121989's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
The plugin Maruauderr linked seems useful, definitely going to take a look at that. What usually happens when you install mods that affect the same nodes is that they start "fighting" over the nodal values, meaning the sizes will switch back and forth quite often. How often this happens and which value will be the dominant one depends, I think, on the update timers. It can look quite silly, I usually disable the body changes of all but one of the interfering mods. -
That was one of the earliest attempts at adding the belly node weight to the CBBE body with TBBP, I can't recall the mod name. I think the HDT body does this now (contains breast, belly and butt nodes) and it is compatible with Bodyslide. I use the HDT enabled body from Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide HDT, you can probably extract just the Body-files for Bodyslide if you don't care for the remodeled armors.

PC Exclusive Animations and Sexlab?
GrimReaperCalls replied to Sacremas's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
I've been using them together for quite a while now (a couple of hours of in-game time, a few months real-time) for a variety of different animations and I haven't encountered any obvious problems. I seem to recall that Sexis (I think the name was) would crash the game if used with PCEA, but SexLab is working fine for me. -
Good GabeN, that's a large log file O.O. For reference, a 2h session for me reaches about 1-1.5MB, and that is quite large compared to some. That "reduced" file of yours contains 1.3 million lines of code. Looking at the the log file, the following lines are repeated more than 80 000 times in less than an hour of game-time: [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Dumping stack 591474: [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Frame count: 0 (Page count: 0) [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] State: Waiting on other stack for call (Freeze state: Freezing) [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Type: Normal [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Return register: None [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Has stack callback: No [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] Stack trace: [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [alias Player on quest MariaEdensSlave (4E052CE7)].mariaplayer.OnHit() - (requested call) [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 0]: [Actor < (000E5F77)>] [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 1]: [SPELL < (0002B96B)>] [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 2]: None [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 3]: False [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 4]: False [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 5]: False [04/04/2015 - 01:00:10AM] [param 6]: False I'm impressed it lasted more than a few minutes . It's looks like a quest script from the Maria Eden mod (MariaEdensSlave (4E052CE7)) that either updates FAR to often (several orders of magnitude) or it isn't terminated properly. It does say on the mod page (if I remember correctly) that it's in early alpha, using it for normal game-play is going to give you problems. Head on over there and inform them about the bug if you want to help them develop the mod. I'd suggest uninstalling it for now though (follow any instructions on the mod page, if present, otherwise use console commands to end the quests). After uninstalling it, play for a while (wait a couple of in-game hours) and then have a look at the log file, if you still see something with MariaEden there you'll have to do a save clean, or revert to an earlier save. Remember, the log files are text-based files, they should (if everything works properly) not be larger than a couple of kilobytes. And if you see anything repeating that often (several thousand lines of code each second), something is VERY wrong.

Crash to desktop 3 seconds after loading starts.
GrimReaperCalls replied to lambient1988's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
The default uGrids is 5, if you changed it it's likely you set it to 3 or 7, possibly 9, but anything other than 3, 5 or 7 is incredibly unstable so it's unlikely you could play with 9, even with the memory patch. Note that only odd numbers work for uGrids. I don't think that I could help you load the save since I can't run anything other than uGrids 5. You can of course try uploading it and I'll try. Are you using the same skeleton? Could be that you forgot to install a HDT/etc. compatible skeleton and the armor you're using on that char requires that. -
A bit of an unqualified guess, but isn't the default NPC behaviour set to equip the items with highest armour-value? I think that's the "DNAM - Armor Rating" setting in TESVEdit, so try setting that to some ridiculously high value, just to try. A tip for the future: When you start TESVEdit, if you right-click in the list of which mods to load you can "Select None", which clears all selections from the list. After that, just select the one mod you want to edit and hit OK, TESVEdit will automatically load any mod dependencies. This will speed up loading times a little .

Crash to desktop 3 seconds after loading starts.
GrimReaperCalls replied to lambient1988's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
Go have a look at which mods the save is missing, you can do so with either Mod Organizer or Wrye Bash. Do you get the "This save relies on some content that is no longer present" message? Try loading up a new save and then, once in game, load the problematic save. If that doesn't work, after loading a fresh save/new game, go to the in-game location your character from the old save is in to make sure it's not a problem with the cell. If you re-installed any ENB presets, ascertain that all required ini-modifications have been done. Try to match them as closely as possible to the ones you used for the save previously, certain things must be the same (u-grids-to-load is an example). If you used any armours/clothes that required scripts to run (HDT etc.) make sure to use the same version as you did when you made the save. -
