It's a Windows utility. Go to Start then type Disk Cleanup, it'll show up (if Windows Search isn't disabled), then right-click on it and choose run as admin. This might help... http://www.howtogeek.com/125923/7-ways-to-free-up-hard-disk-space-on-windows/ You really shouldn't use more than 80% of the total capacity of an SSD.

Windows won't display the "actual" disk usage when you do what you did in the second screenshot. The size of ProgramData folder, for instance, is probably bigger, you need to go into ProgramData\Microsoft\Search etc. (which may require admin permission) and then have the OS recalculate the size, or use a third-party program such as this. You may clean up restore points, temporary files (both in AppData\Local\Temp and Windows\Temp) and Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download etc. However, it's best to run Disk Cleanup first (run as administrator) and let it do its thing and then run CCleaner and clean browser crap, and then see if there's anything left in the above mentioned directories.

I doubt it'd be possible, as some mods have multiple files with different version numbers, some even have multiple versions of the same file.

Place your bets for Bethesda's E3 2015
bjornk replied to maybenexttime's topic in Fallout General Discussion
Yeah, sounds a bit unlikely but they might announce/demo a new engine and talk a bit about their new game(s) in development that will use the new engine. As far as their RPGs are concerned (TES & FO), they need to upgrade their engine to catch up with more recent games. This is probably just wishful thinking though. -

NASA Chief Scientist Ellen Stofan Predicts We'll Find Signs Of Alien Life Within 10 Years
bjornk replied to ...0...'s topic in Off Topic
So what? We have life on Earth and it's not particularly a good thing, it's pretty bad actually. -
If there are multiple universes, similar to each other or different, then we'd have to find a new term to describe what we now call a universe, as "the" universe would have to include those multiple smaller universes as well, which, I think, doesn't make much sense. What I mean is, there's only one "universe" and it's called the universe.

GOG games don't require online validation/activation, they don't have any copy-protection mechanism either and they allow you to install your games multiple times on multiple computers in the same household. Come to think of it, the Steam-less version of M&B:Warband had some kind of an installation restriction. Can't remember the exact details but maybe the GOG version doesn't have that.
-
I don't know if it counts as a DRM-free, but Mount & Blade: Warband already has a "Steam-less" version which you can download from taleworlds.com (same for the original Mount&Blade). I bought the boxed version of it when it came out, which required Steam activation, but once you got your key from Steam, which was different than the one came with the box, you could use it on the Steam-less version. I don't have it on GOG though. Does the GOG version require a key to run? If it does, then I don't see much point in reclaiming it on GOG, other than adding it to your GOG library.

Place your bets for Bethesda's E3 2015
bjornk replied to maybenexttime's topic in Fallout General Discussion
Bethesda gets away with crappy games because of the lack of decent alternatives. For people who want an open-world, sandbox, action RPG, there are very few choices and most of them are Bethesda titles, with a few exceptions. -
How about something like this (she is very intelligent with above average endurance and luck): STR 5 PER 5 END 6 CHA 5 INT 8 AGI 5 LCK 6 You can, of course, take one from STR and add that to CHA or PER or to something else. Traits for nerdy innocent scientist: Good Natured & Four Eyes. You won't be able to get all the implants though. My current character, however, will get everything... STR 5 PER 5 END 9 CHA 5 INT 5 AGI 5 LCK 6 Traits: Skilled & Four Eyes IMO, a character must either have extreme endurance or extreme luck or a bit of both in order to survive the headshot and get out of his/her grave alive. So, high endurance/luck would be a pretty consistent choice. I take Four Eyes because I always wear sunglasses and Four Eyes makes it useful.

This game needs a space brothel. They haven't shown anything yet, but I really want to see their take on character creation/customization.

Issues with radiation resistance in FNV
bjornk replied to bjornk's topic in Fallout General Discussion
1. Yes, there is a way to increase max rad resistance cap. Simply set fPlayerMaxResistance to 100 to maximize rad resistance (100%). 2. In my game, the duration of RadX is an hour now, and RadAway lasts for 15 minutes (which is still pretty short being an intravenous drug) and it removes 1 rad every second. Also, advanced radiation suits (such as the space suit) fully protects you from radiation. Much more realistic compared to the vanilla mechanics. The fact that things like weapon damage, medicine effectiveness etc. are tied to certain skill levels is idiotic, it's one of the many annoyances in this game. That mechanic basically suggests that an aspirin would be more effective if a doctor puts it into your mouth. -
While wandering around Searchlight (which seems to be an area with +1 rad/s or +2 rad/s), I've noticed that my radiation level increases from zero to red almost within one or two minutes, even though my displayed rad resistance level is above 130% (13% base + Adv Recon Breather + Space Suit + RadX) and both RadAway and RadX wear off really fast and RadAways seem to remove only a tiny percentage of radiation, probably because of this. I can think of two reasons for this. First, my timescale is set to 5 and hunger etc. rates are set to scale with timescale. However, the level radiation exposure does not scale with the timescale, so this may be a problem. The other reason is probably the fact that, even though my rad resistance is displayed as 130%, my actual rad resistance is capped at 85%. - How can I increase the max rad resistance to 100%? Is there a specific game setting for that? - Is there anything I can do to scale down the radiation exposure rate to match the timescale of 5? - Anyway to increase the effectiveness of RadX and RadAway? I also use SCR and it has a drug duration setting but I assume that it wouldn't affect vanilla drugs such as RadX. PS. I play in Hardcore mode.

I'm okay with that, better than not having any effect at all. It's pretty subtle anyway.

I hit the 3.5 gb vram limit on the Gtx 970. Should I upgrade to the Gtx 980 for 4gb of vram?
bjornk replied to saucemagic's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
If you have the money, go for the 980. The 970 is a faulty product. It's like having a nice modern four-door sedan with a problematic fourth door. -
which fallout game should i buy? and which one has the sex animation mods in them?
bjornk replied to alienwarfighter's topic in Fallout General Discussion
Get New Vegas Ultimate Edition, but pay no more than 5 bucks. If you really like it, then you may consider buying Fallout 3 as well, and playing it from within the New Vegas engine, as mentioned above. Fallout New Vegas is a big enough game with all the DLCs/expansions and I personally think buying FO3 is pretty unnecessary at this point. -
I use these ones for Type 3 in addition to a bunch of Kendo2's stuff (Gomorrah Girls, leather & metal armor replacers etc.) and a few more: Type3 Body and Armor replacer http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34825/? Lonesome Road Armors for Type 3 http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44034/? Dead Money Type3 Outfits by Exeter http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40595/? Type 3 Honest Heart Tribal Armors by Exeter http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41884/? Kristinas Closet for Type 3 and Breeze http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47059/? Jonas66s Kristinas Closet for Type 3 Bouncing http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47563/? There's also the stuff included in SCR (Sexout Common Resources) but I can't recall which ones. Funnily enough, I always end up using some military gear instead of sexy/skimpy stuff, like this one, for instance. --------------- I don't use it but for Type 6M, the following mod includes both the body and somewhat skimpier versions of vanilla clothes and armor. T6M Equipment Replacer NV by Izumiko http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45505/? There's also Type 3M body and a skimpy vanilla armor set for it. Type3M Body Replacer by MAK http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44709/? Type3M Clothing by MAK http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44711/? I personally hate skimpification of armors, it kills immersion. Having a ton of different skimpy clothes in the game is nice, but armors should stay as armors.

The site itself is pretty safe, but occasionally an ad banner from an infected site shows up, which may also contain some malicious code. In fact, I myself once got infected from an ad on LL, fortunately it was easy to remove. The warnings you get from your antivirus might be related to that kind of thing. There's actually a recent thread about a similar issue on the tech support section, see if the warning you get is the same as the one in the thread below. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/45156-possible-malicious-redirect-on-ll/
-
If this happens only on LL then it could be one of the ads on LL coming from an infected server. The following link states that the IP in your screenshot is infected. http://www.malware-traffic-analysis.net/2015/02/05/index.html Try using some ad blocker and see if it comes up again.

I need a new PC ... but not anything special.
bjornk replied to Insidiator's topic in Technical Support
Here's a pretty decent build someone posted on pcpartpicker.com, which costs about 640 USD. There are others, of course, but should give you an idea at least. However, keep in mind that this build will most certainly cost you more if you live in Europe. http://pcpartpicker.com/b/kR9WGX (or http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Y7QwZL) CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory SSD: OCZ ARC 100 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Graphics Card: Asus GeForce GTX 760 4GB ROG Video Card Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower Case PSU: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer or this one which is slightly more expensive (667.32 USD) probably due to water cooling, but includes the OS as well. -
Been many a year since I built a PC, advice on selection.
bjornk replied to Shaydow's topic in Technical Support
If you're going to spend this much then make the RAM 32 GB. It may come in handy while doing live streaming.
