Just a few random things I'd like to mention: - MSI graphics cards comes with a free monitoring/overclocking software called Afterburner and it's one the best software for that purpose. - IIRC, coil whine was a common issue with both MSI's and EVGA's GTX970 cards. I haven't heard too many complaints about Gigabyte's 970s though. - Fractal Design's Define series are also pretty good cases. I'd personally buy one of those for my own use. - Asus motherboards have a few unresolved driver issues. You may find a few threads about those on the ROG forums. For my next build, I'll probably go with Gigabyte.

So you want us to speculate on the graphics performance of an unreleased game? Well, you certainly won't be getting a constant 60 FPS @ 4K ultra settings with that card, if that's what you're asking.

Then the only two things I'd change in your list would be the case and the CPU cooler. I'd probably go with Corsair for both of them.

Your Samsung graphics card will no doubt spy on you.

If this is going to be a gaming PC, then you can build a LGA 1150 system for much less. If you're not planning to do Twitch/Youtube streaming or general video encoding etc. that CPU is pretty unnecessary. Intel i7-4790K is cheaper, has a better single core performance and probably slightly better for gaming, has an integrated GPU as well, and also uses much less power. With the remaining money, you could buy another Samsung SSD and build a 500 GB RAID0 system which will give you good storage performance and minimal loading times in games.

You won't play it? It may turn out to be a lot better than TESO.  

If you think that making a TES MMO was the next logical step, then you'd better prepare yourself for a Fallout MMO.

Black Desert. Though keep in mind that this game also keeps undies intact, which is indeed pretty stupid. In fact, even though they get dirty, neither the stockings on the ranger nor the pantyhose on the sorceress get damaged at all. The game is currently not available officially outside of Korea AFAIK, but many people from around the world are somehow playing it, despite the fact that the game is almost completely in Korean. There's an unofficial English patch though, posted on Reddit, I think . If there's going to be a slavery system in a game, it must work both ways. In Fallout 2, you could become a slaver by joining their guild, but nobody would ever attempt to enslave you, not even the slavers themselves, even if you were a "stupid" tribal, which never made any sense to me. Wish there were a "surrender" option in random encounters with slavers, which would lead to some additional content involving your escape from slavery.

For females, I use a lot of stuff (Type 3 body, Mojave Delight etc), and yet I've never been able to get a satisfactory result, they still look like a scarecrow with the face of a clown, so I'll leave it that other people. Oh, and no, it's not possible to completely get rid of the neck seam. There are hair packs like ApachiiSkyHair (I use "Mojave Delight Coolhair Replacer" for instance), but similar to Apachii, you won't be able to use them when you wear a hat or helmet. No matter what you do the game won't look as good as Skyrim, so don't expect miracles.

What if the refresh rate for that resolution is set (or reported) incorrectly? Could be an issue with the OS or graphics driver. - I'd recommend trying your monitor with your current graphics card using a live Linux distribution as a first step and see if that makes any difference. If it does, you might have to completely uninstall your graphics drivers and re-install maybe an earlier version of the driver after making sure you've cleaned up every related file and registry entry. - If your monitor has other types of inputs (DVI/HDMI/VGA/DP) you might want to try connecting your card through one of those. - If there's a self-test type of thing in your monitor, disconnect the monitor and run the test after resetting monitor settings to factory defaults.

Instead of playing as an elf, you can pretend that your Breton/Nord/Imperial character's grandmother was a elf and add 25% elf-ness to your character using ECE. You'd get a decent looking half-elf character with slightly pointy ears. You may as well create separate racial powers which are 75% weaker than the actual ones and add those to your character to complete your genetic inheritance. You can also replace the face normal map (femalehead_msn.dds) for elves with the standard one for Nords. Data\Textures\actors\character\darkelffemale\femalehead_msn.dds (<- replace this) Data\Textures\actors\character\female\femalehead_msn.dds (<- with this one) ...should give you a smoother looking face (with no racial features). I personally prefer ugly elves in Skyrim, as none of the elf races in Skyrim are particularly likeable. They are definitely not as elegant or as noble as, say Tolkien's elves.

The error I got was slightly different, I mean the SQL statement was different as far as I recall (it was related to ignored people or something), but obviously it's the same problem.

You might want to back this up, if you like old-school, isometric, party-based, turn-based RPGs. Tabletop RPG simulators with D&D rules and such are a thing of the past IMO.  

Not sure if this has already been discussed before, but LL forum software doesn't seem to fully support secure connections (HTTPS) for its topics that are viewed from within an HTTPS connection. What I mean by that is, you can open a page on LL over HTTPS by adding an https:// in front of the address, however any forum link you click from within that page opens as a non-secure connection (HTTP).   From what I've read on the Invision community posts, full SSL support can be enabled by changing the board's URL. Is there a reason to keep it this way (as HTTP, I mean)? I think it would be nice to have full HTTPS support for the entire forum.    

And I haven't said anything that implied otherwise. Zenimax owns Bethesda Game Studios and they most likely has the last word on what the next project of BGS will be. So hopefully, the success of Skyrim and the failure of TESO will force them to rethink their decision on making a TES MMO.

A rather naive thought perhaps, but I think people should let TESO fall hard, in order to force Bethesda/Zenimax to focus on making a decent moddable single-player game.
