  1. The vault and what happened inside is definitely the thing I'm most interested in and curious about.  How did the player survive 200 years?  The part where he was talking Codsworth and the robot mentioned it had been two hundred years the PC said "There's no way I've been out that long."  So to me that clearly points to a prolonged state of unconsciousness, I'm favoring the cryogenic freezing bit because it seems the most likely.  The whole android thing is also possible, but I hope that's not the case.  Yeah I get the institute, synthetics, androids so the player is probably one also theory, but doesn't that just sound a little too obvious?  I mean it would just be a rather disappointing twist due to how easy it was to predict and see coming.  Anyway yeah really want to know what went on inside that vault, was it one of the ones that had some crazy ass experiment taking place inside like vault 87, and the one with the white noise (forgot the number)?  Or is it one of those vaults that had an experiment that wasn't so crazy but just went horrificly wrong, like in vault 22?  I also think the whole idea behind the PC having had a pre-existing family is very interesting, definitely not a start I've ever tried to build a character around, and I'm looking forward to it.

  2. Can't wait for this and wow the hair...it moves.  Well the wife's hair was moving, didn't really notice it the first time I watched the video but I noticed it the second time when I was paying more attention.  That's really neat and another plus for this game, though it seems like moving hair is limited only to the longer hairstyles like the one wife has, I'm kind of wondering if it might be limited to those particular scenes, I hope not, be sorta dumb if it was.

Anyway also saw that little montage video involving power armor, jetpacks on power, etc. and I noticed something.  Feral ghouls look a lot more like zombies than they did previously, I mean one was missing an arm.  Going to be real fun going into an abandoned building with little or no lighting that happens to be full of those things.  Think the first thing I'll do is take note of popular deathclaw hangout spots and avoid them, well after I run up to one punch it and then run away as fast as possible and hope I don't die.  Why?  I don't know.

  3. Alrighty lets see...confessions.  Ok here they are.

    1.  I have also never killed Heimskr or Nazeem.

    2.  I hate when my NPC's die, infact if one does during like a vampire attack I re-load the game and keep doing so until those pesky vampires are dead and no one else is.

    3.  I once died to a pot.  It came flying out of nowhere and hit my character right in the head.

    4.  Once a mudcrab reported me for murder.

    5.  I like Lydia and have never had a problem with her.

    6.  I have never once married Ysolda, thought about it a couple times, but I like it when my wife can travel with me.

    7.  I once went up to a Greybeard who was meditating by the cliff on the throat of the world and shouted him off of it.  Another Greybeard immediately ran up and did the same thing to me.

    8.  I hate those damn chickens.

    9.  I have only completed the main quest and dawnguard quest line twice and have never even started Dragonborn.  I always restart, if a mod I have gets an update rather than do a clean save or anything like that I start a new game, just to be safe and avoid anything going wrong.

    10.  I have never once sided with the Stormcloaks and never will, long live the empire!

    11.  When I made my first female character I spent literally 2 1/2 hours making my female character so that I could get her perfect, but I have never posted a picture of her.  Due to all the times I've restarted I can actually remake her perfectly in less that 2mins now.

    12.  I like to cook pies in the game because I like pie.

    13.  Whenever I pass through Ivarstead I always give Narfi some gold, only beggar I do that for.  He's my special buddy.

    14.  I did the dark brotherhood questline through only once, never again.  Narfi is my special buddy, and I don't like having to kill him.

    15.  I once sat down at a table and for some reason the napkin thing (or whatever that cloth thing on some tables is supposed to be) flew off of it really fast, hit an npc, and killed him.

  4. Ok so I had the whole weird face, super wide open mouth bug that people are getting on some of the expressions.  I tried resetting the registry, but that didn't work.  After doing some other things to try and fix it, and those things failing to make any difference, I had a thought while looking at the sliders for each expression and I believed the problem was with one or more of those.  So while I was looking at Pleasure Phase 5 I started moving the sliders that control the mouth (like DST Aah, bigAah etc) all the way to 0 one by one to see if they made any difference and if it didn't I moved it back, finally when I moved the last one, which was the W slider, to 0 my character's mouth was finally normal (well for that expression, you know not all super wide anymore)  I did some investigating in other phases and expressions and discovered that in the ones that seemed odd they all had a "problem" slider that when reduced to 0 would cause the expression to not look odd anymore.

Sooo yeah, just thought I'd share this info.  Finding the problem slider and reducing to 0 worked for me, but not sure if it will for any of you other guys.  Hope it does.

  5. When I downlaoded the latest fixed version the packaging format was again .tgz. Am I really the only one with this "bug"?

Its actually possible to still extract the files from this .tgz format using WinRAR, or atleast I was able to do it.  Just right click it and you should get the option to extract with WinRAR.

  6. You also don't need all the 0's either just player.additem f 50000 (that's just an example) it also won't level you up, but what will is purchasing those books.  After purchasing your one handed skill will go up.  Nah but seriously the more expensive something is when you purchase it the more exp you get in speech.  So cheat or no cheat, your speech skill will level when you buy them.

  7. Personally I doubt they were downloaded from anywhere.  They are more than likely custom made.  I mean look at the blue skin of his character, when it comes to face paint there is no way to get an actual black color (that I'm aware of) on blue skin in Skyrim, not even with race menu.  However it would be possible if the design was applied directly to the femalehead.dds texture file.  Which is probably why he used the temptress race, otherwise those designs would be applied directly to every female npc in the game.  So really if you wanted something similar you'd just have to learn to do that.

  8. The eyes are not a corner stone of the dunmer culture....it is their skin color.  Their skin color is why they're called dunmer, why they are the dark elves.  Their eyes could be blue, white, or even yellow, as long as their skin is that color then they will remain the dunmer.  The eyes might be a part of the curse, but they in no way effect their culture.  Now if their favorite color was red and liked to style a lot of their builidings and such around the color red because of their eyes being red THEN you would actually be right.  As it is this is not the case.  So yes, their eye color doesn't matter that much.  My point, that in no way proves any point of yours, is that getting so very upset that a few dunmer don't have red eyes is ridiculous and acting as though its going to be the end of who they are and their culture, is retarded.  Now as I said, I won't ever play a dunmer without red eyes, because I agree with you their eyes should be red, but I will not get upset over it if a few end up being different.

Lore is important, to me it is the backbone of a story.  It is what explains and gives reason to why things are the way that they are, and where as I would personally prefer not to change the lore once it has been established, I would be fine with it aslong as a good reason for it existed and everything referencing what has been changed was also changed for the sake of consistency.  So let me be clear here and say this one final time, if you want to be upset about their eye color then do so.  However, do not go around acting as if it is the end of their people and the world of TES, because that is just stupid.  Now again, you have stated your thoughts on this more times than necessary its as if you think we didn't see it the first or second or third or 4th time you said it.  Be upset Mebrillia, express your anger about something, state it preferably once.  Twice if you feel you need to, try to atleast draw the line around 4 times, but after that keep it to yourself.  Otherwise you will come off like you are bitching and acting like a child.

  9. Ok enough of this ridiculousness.  So a few dunmer in ESO might not have red eyes (never seen an npc without them, but at the same time I haven't played on the pact) just because a few of their eyes aren't red doesn't mean the culture is going to be destroyed.  "Oh lawdy loo our eyes aren't red anymore fellow dunmer!  Lets for this reason alone stop worshipping Azura and the Tribunal and instead attach carrots to our foreheads and start worshipping frogs and rename our race to the Floopty Doo Wubmers, because fuck our culture our eyes are different now!"  Personally I've never played a dunmer without red eyes and that's how I will always play one.  There is also no doubt in my mind that when ES6 is released every dunmer will also have red eyes, but what I also know for a fact is that we will also be finding books that will be about the soulburst because like it or not many (keyword there 'many' not 'all') of the lore additions and changes brought about by TESO are now part of the TES lore, and that isn't a bad thing.  One of the things I would do in Oblivion and Skyrim was collect the ingame books and read them, I would also refuse to read certain book sets until I had acquired every single volume.  I love the tes lore, but I'm not fanatical about it, and I welcome some of these lore changes and additions.  However getting bent out of shape over something so insignificant as eye color and going around acting like because of this the world of TES is going to end is pathetic.  Also how many times do I have to say this Mebrilia?  Hopefully just this second time, the general appearance of all the elves have changed throughout the games, the elven races in Oblivion looked different from the ones in Morrowind, and the ones in Skyrim looked much different from the ones in both previous games, infact the only thing that was consistent are the general eye color, skin tone, and pointy ears.

Oh and Mebrilia, stop saying your 'debating' because your not.  In the beginning you were debating with people, it was civil and it was entertaining to read, but that is no longer the case.  Now your bitching and spewing endless hate, while at the same time trying to mask it, by making it look like your debating.  You are literally picking at every little flaw in the game and even making a few up.  Example, you complained earlier that winged twilights are only in the realm of Azura and that TESO violated this part of the lore by having them in Cold Harbour, even though Molag Bal's daughter, Molag Grunda, is a winged a twilight.  Now I'm not going to sit here and defend TESO, I already stated my opinion about it and unlike you and some others, I don't feel the need to repeat it endlessly.  However I have grown tired of your constant bitching and whining, were it simply confined to this single thread I wouldn't care, but it isn't.  Another thing is that many whom have had views differing from yours you have literally gone out of your way to challenge them, as if your purposely trying to pick fights with people here all the while claiming your debating.  Your behavior is nothing short of childish.  How old are you Mebrilia?  According to your profile you are 31 years old, that is too damn old for you to be behaving like this.

Now I don't want to be mean, I don't like being mean, but this has gone on long enough.  Now your probably going to challenge me, and claim that I'm wrong, that you are just debating, that your not bitching and that your not acting like a child, well I say go ahead,  Go ahead and say these things, and then immediately contradict yourself with the sentances that will follow in your post as you have done all the other times someone has called you out for being childish.  You can sit there and say your an adult, but I will simply say prove it.  Prove your an adult, by turning around and walking away from this whole TESO thing.  You have stated your opinion about this game more times than needed.  Infact you have done so more times than anyone else.  I wonder just how many of your posts from your post count are from you trashing this game?  We get it, you hate this game, you hate it exists, and time and again you have told us why.  Its seriously time for you to give it a rest, actually past time, and the more you sit here and continue to argue and complain the more childish you prove yourself to be.  That's not opinion either, that's a fact.

  10. So what your saying is that Karliah is different because she belongs to Nocturnal?  As in because of Nocturnal's influence Karliah's eye color is different?  So this is ok then, Nocturnal's influence can change their eye color, but Molag Bal, another daedric prince, his influence can't.  No for Molag Bal its a lore violation if his influence causes that right?

  11. Actually there is quite a bit of reading in this, when talking to quest givers there's spoken dialogue and then also a next to them that contains all the dialogue they're speaking.  There's also plenty of books on shelves (one per shelf, but there are quite a number of shelves in this game) and also lore books just lieing around in the world.  Gotta becareful if reading in a hostile area though, otherwise you might get stabbed in the ass.

  12. If this game went free to play I would drop it immediately and never play it again, because at the point it would be pay to win.  I know not all mmo's are like that, but if this one went free to play it would become pay to win and that would just ruin it.  Oh but its already ruined you say, no its not...it could get be a lot worse and it'll get a lot worse if goes free to play.  Like severe limitations on inventory or bank upgrade, as It is now it just costs some gold but in ftp it would probably cost actual money to expand, there would also probably be limitations on crafting, gear you can get, maybe even a limit on how many dungeons you can do per day.  There would definitely be character limits, probably only let you have 2, or maybe 3 with a limit of one to each faction and you'd have to pay to unlock more slots.

  13. He does bring up some good points, the price of horses is rather high.  Though to be honest the gold to buy one actually isn't that hard get, by the time I was done with Stormhaven (2nd area in Daggerfall Covenant) I had enough for one.  As for the monsters dropping only a couple gold pieces and most of the time only one, is actually a lot like skyrim and oblivion.  I mean honestly, how much of your income in those games actually came from the gold you got off npcs and creatures?  For me it was mostly from selling items to merchants and completing quests, even a lot of the chests barely had anything in them (opened a master locked chest once and it only had about 20g and an empty common soul gem...), pretty much the same way in ESO, chests in ESO are a bit different though.  Though I do get it, in skyrim enemies may not have dropped much gold but you could atleast loot their gear, but I also kind of get why that wouldn't work in an mmo.

I also get why Zenimax decided not to make things like plates and stuff sitting on counters etc. unlootable, its just a bad idea in an mmo.  Tables and counters would be bare, and everywhere you looked you'd see a guard chasing after a player shouting "Stop right there criminal scum!" or something similar.  One of the main things I'm disappointed about aren't the bugs and such, its the no player housing....really thought they would have that and apparently they might later on.  The main thing that gets on my nerves though are those damn gold sellers and fucking bots.  Then again those maggots infest just about every online game where money and items can be traded by players, except on WoW it seems, I haven't seen any on there in a couple years.

I haven't played a lot of mmo's to be honest, mainly just WoW which I've been playing since 2006, well WoW and Guild Wars..  To me ESO is a very welcome change from that, though I do prefer to play single player games, particularly rpgs, and especially rpgs where you can customize your own character and have an open world to explore.  Though I do admit I think sometimes they'd be funner with a little co-op, you know be able to play with atleast one of my friends on them.

As for Angry Joe well...I don't hate the guy, but I find him unnecessarily loud, and it makes me want to hit him.

  14. Hath thou not heard of the prophecy written within the Elder Scrolls themselves?  Allow me to recite it.

"Should the lore of the elder scrolls series ever be changed, the world as we know it will never be the same again.  A tear in the fabric of reality will occur and Mehrunes Dagon will begin to bend it like Beckham!  Molag Bal will dance Gangnam Style upon the Golden Gate bridge while Hermaus Mora talks crap to people whom he will be totes pwning on Call of Duty!  Frogs with the face of Sheogorath that constantly say not by the word 'cheese!' shall rain down from the sky.  Mt. Vesuvius will erupt spewing forth thousands of scamps which will be addicted to hiding car keys and the remote for the television!  In other words, the world will go totally bat shit nanners."

  15. you could create a human looking Mer in skyrim with vanilla assets

    stop bitchin

Who are you saying is bitching exactly?  Cause if its me your accusing it of I feel I must point out that I'm not.  I was simply stating a fact about how the races change appearances throughout the games and using the elves as an example.  So there's no need to be hostile.  Again though I'm not sure if you were directing that at me.  It seems like it was, and if it was then I wonder if I should retaliate....hmm doesn't really seem like its worth my time.

  16. Did it really destroy the race appearances?  The races looked one way in oblivion and then vastly different in Skyrim, I mean seriously take a look at the elves from oblivion and then how they ended up looking in skyrim.  They weren't really what I would call pretty to look at, especially elven vampires...literally killed those things with fire.

  17. So much negativity.  You know I was honestly on the fence about this game, because of all the negativity and such.  I really wanted to get it but all the bad things being said about it by people who played beta really made me think about not doing so.  Then on day 4 of the early access to people who digitally pre-ordered I took a little leap of faith and bought the digital standard edition (didn't care about the imperial race or armor crafting style and if I want a horse I'll get it the old fashion way) and you know what?  I have been having a really fun time on ESO, really glad I didn't listen to all the negativity coming from people.  Does the game have its flaws and could it use improvement?  Yep, but the same goes for a lot of games.  Another thing, has any game (mainly mmo's) ever really been that great off the start?  Not really, but they get better with time...well some do and ESO will probably be one of them.  In the game I ran into a few people who had played the beta, and they said the beta was not that great but that the game is far better now.

Anyway everyone has their own tastes and opinions about things, and just cause someone had a bad experience with something doesn't mean you will.  Some people like the game, others don't, and some down right hate it, and then there are some who down right hate it and won't shut up about it....but you'll never know if you like it unless you try it out and see for yourself.

  18. Ok I was reading through some of these posts to see about any kind of known bugs with this mod before I downloaded and have seen quite a few talking about CTD's.  Now it seems to me that the crashes are occurring with saving and loading (atleast for most of you that are getting them) so first I'm going to ask a question then give an answer to that question which will most likely solve your issues.  Are you using the free cam at all, as in auto or using it manual with the use of a button (for me numpad 3)?  If so then this is your problem, the free cam cannot be active before sex ends.  If it was still active after the end of a sex scene then you will CTD the next time your game saves, whether auto (which it does when moving to a new cell aswell as generally when opening up either the main menu or the tab menu which will only happen if it has been 15mins since last save unless disabled) or manually, and/or loads a previous save.

The free cam if used manually must be turned off before the end of the sex act, if it isn't then you'll need to initiate another act where you either do not use it or successfully turn it off before the scene ends.  I recommend having the orgasm option turned on as the 'splat' noise and screen shaking are a good way to remind you when its about to end, I would also recommend you give your orgasm stage a length of atleast 10secs to allow plenty of time to quickly hit the button to turn off free cam before the scene ends.

  19. Some months ago I remember looking up the ancient nord armor on the skyrim uespwiki site to learn the possible ways to aquire it, you know without console commands.  As I was reading I saw a note about that there is clipping with the shoulder on the female version.  So basically the clipping has been there since vanilla and is more noticeable with certain animations and idles.  Now I don't know much about converting armors, but if something like this has been a problem with the original version then its likey that it will persist with conversions to other bodies or atleast conversions that keep the same style as the original.  Probably why some conversions use a different look atleast when it comes to the shoulder area, you know to get around the clipping issue.  One example would be the version from Crosscrusade's sexy vanilla female armor conversions, much different look.

  20.

So far, so good. I've had plenty of npc npc action and my saves aren't bloating.

There was one thing, though. When fighting a dragon in Dragon's Bridge the dragon began the rape of an npc. As I understand it as soon as it's hit it should stop sex and resume fighting. Didn't happen. The townsfolk and I kept hammering away and the dragon died before it finished the rape.

Not a bug, realisticly, dragons have sex until they die. Hence all the shouting.

Yeah dragons are hardcore like that.

  21. I've been playing with the latest version of this and I'm happy to report that I've been having zero problems with it.  Yep no ctds or anything, not even the stretching of npcs/followers breasts into infinity when moving from exterior to interior cells and vice versa, or any stretching at all.  I haven't really tried this with that havoc thing yet though.

My apologies if this was asked before, this is my very very first time giving this a try at all. Is it normal for there to be a SERIOUS fps drop?  Like I normally run at 30 or 40. And I've dropped down to 6 with this in. So its not usable for me, but is there a way to fix that? Thank you so much for any response.

    -C

Hmm major fps drop eh?  Do you happen to have an enb or something installed?  If so you then you might want to make sure that this setting in your enblocal.ini is properly set to look like this

    waitBusyRenderer=true

    Its under [LIMITER]

Also I think vertical-sync needs to be enabled if it isn't.  You might also want to check to make sure that the following line (also under limiter) looks like this

    EnableFPSLimit=false
