Patiently waiting for the SL conversion!
0 -
Despite all this bug-smashing, are there any recent developments in getting SD to work with SL instead of SexiS?
0 -
I... Can't wait... For new framework and possible mods...
Ashal, since you said it was 'ready' a while back and are now just fixing and optimizing, why not release beta versions? Get feedback and whatnot? Let the community help in optimizing and giving you ideas?

Call me selfish but I was really hoping for it to be released when you said it would be. Pushing it back at the last moment just feels like your taunting us. I think I'm a reasonably patient guy, I can wait for the mod for months so long as you say it will be released in months, you can even push it back a bit so long as you don't push it back when it is supposed to be released. A way to simply remedy that just to add a "grace" period when saying it will be released, so add a day or two to your estimate.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, Just saying what I think.
Mod sounds great, hope for a successful release in the hopefully very near future.
I'm awful with deadlines, if ever I give anybody a deadline they should expect it to take no less than twice as long as I originally estimate.
I could sit here and poke at the code in the framework for months, and honestly that's all I'm doing at this point. The damned thing is done and "good enough" to release. Unfortunately I tend to be a perfectionist and small things annoy me, so "good enough" isn't enough. Instead of prepping the release like I should have today, I've spent the entire day optimizing and rewriting the animation loop, not something that most people will notice or care about being sloppy for a first release, but still a vitally important part of the whole thing I want to make sure is a perfect as I can make it now.
I tend to do everything iteratively, I start looking it over thinking "Yeah this is good and ready" 10 minutes later I have an idea of why it's terrible and how I could do some aspect of it better and redo it with the lessons learned doing it before. Repeat that process a good 5-6 times until I'm finally just sick of looking at it because I've rewrote it so many times that I just want to be done with it so I can do something else, and then it's ready. Hell even me writing this post is no exception, as of this very moment me typing this this is the is the
3rd4th5th iteration of this paragraph. It's obsessive, and as much torture for me as it is anybody waiting, if not more so.
THIS. This is why we modders never give deadlines, or if we do it's just a rough estimate. This is why we say 'it's done when it's done'. Or alternatively, Soon™

Because iron sights and a much better/deeper dialogue was a bad thing in a fallout game right? While bethesda does very good job at atmosphere and setting of their games, they've forgotten all about how quests in rpg's should be done.
I wasn't referring to gameplay, I'd be lying if I said I preferred the quests and story in Fallout 3 over New Vegas. So no, the problem I have with New Vegas has nothing to do with deeper dialogue, it has to do with it being a far less stable. I was able to run Fallout 3 with maybe one ctd every six to seven hours, if that. And the ctd's were usually due to poorly coded mods and not the game itself. However, with New Vegas, while it ran fine on my core 2 due with XP and 2 gigs of ram, I had a ctd every 2-3 hours and countless other issues with it on both both my I5 PC with Windows 7 x64 and 8 gigs of ram and my other core 2 duo system with windows 7x64 with 4 gigs of ram. And when I googled for fixes, I found quite a few running similar systems with similar issues.
But to be fair, I don't play these games for deep dialogue, I tend to fast forward the dialogue. I play Skyrim because it has such an outstanding "world" to roam around and werewolves and vampires.
Oh, and I'm not sure if it was Beth's decision or Obsidian's but whoever it was that decided to have New Vegas end after the main quest was finished is an asshat. Yeah, Fallout 3 ended after the main quest ended at first, but they fixed that with the first or second expansion. As for Skyrim, I haven't finished the main quest yet but I imagine like Oblivion, it doesn't end like New Vegas.
Naw, Skyrim continues playing after the final quest is finished, and yea, it was stupid of them to make the game end after the last quest of FONV. TBH though, I can't wait to see what FO4 will look like. With the PS4 and xbox 720 coming out soon, Bethesda's late habit of porting games from console to PC will HOPEFULLY mean a much higher quality and better performing game than Skyrim ever was on the PC.
More on-topic, is there any ETA on release, Ashal? I know that deadlines are a bit of a joke for hobbies from personal experience, so I'm not gunna hold you to anything. Just curious how far along you are.

@Devianza
The team that made MCM for the Fallout games is the same team that made SkyUI. They put MCM in SkyUI and said that they will not be releasing an independent version of MCM for Skyrim. However, if you want MCM without SkyUI, you can install SkyUI Away on top of SkyUI which will give the impression that only MCM was installed.

So Ashal, it is now the weekend. Will your new framework still be released in the next day? Or will it be delayed?

Would this mod cause animals to be essential? After installing this (And updating a few other LL mods), all NPC's are essential.

This looks great! Keep up the good work!

I do not know fo sure, but couldn't you just disable Dragonborn, run RBS, then enable it again? RBS should skip it, I believe...
I know it's been well over a month since this thread's last post, but is there any possibility of an update? Since 1.9 came out, there's been giant neck gaps, inconsistent body sizes and a general incompatibility with Dragonborn.esm.
I love this mod - don't let it wilt!
Yes, and that's what I do to get it to work. So despite no one on Solstheim having variable body types, everyone else has neck gaps big enough to see though in addition to inconsistent body sizes. For example, I'd be looking at some really fat chick, load a different area, then come back to find her to be skinny as a rail.

This looks like a great compilation, but could you perhaps upload it to a website and not by torrent? With only 1 seed, uTorrent says it's gunna take 1-2 weeks to download.

I know this is an old thread, but better here than making a new one:
Hrm, looks like .esm-ification may be the only way to go for me - been putting together a follower mod and the Ctrl+f4 doesn't give results. So I unchecked the preset CharGen, in the actor tab I did Ctrl+f4 which gave me the popup window, but when I navigated to the folder where it should be, nothing from my mod is there.

Sounds awesome!
Ever since the crime mod over on the Nexus has been idling while Skyrim / SKSE has been updating, it's pretty much defunct. Plus this sounds much more... interesting. Keep up the good work.

there are also new creatures' date=' especially those spear throwing midgets and some sort of cthulhu cult, if you get my drift...
[/quote']
Yea... Those spear throwing midgets are the same models of the Goblins from the Skyrim Game Jam video. Not sure if they're considered Goblins in the DLC though.

Excellent job here diarawr. As everyone else says, all we need now is a mod that takes advantage of these models.
PS: Your spoilered collage is a list of image names instead of actual images. Since you're using dropbox, your best bet is to go to each image in your dropbox folder, right click -> dropbox -> copy public link. Then on the post itself, use the insert image feature with that copied link - of course, those images will have to be in the public folder for the public link option to appear.

I second forced. Also, I've had the realistic ragdoll force mod waaaaay before XPMS put out his skeleton and as you might think, I've never had a problem with dragging bodies.

@Rathous
That'll be possible in a couple years as it is in FNV.
@Miss Leeches
Awesome mod. First tryout escaping the tutorial cave both Ralof and I were webbed. Later in the Bleak Falls Barrow, the spider boss was so much more difficult seeing that it could web and poison me, leaving me stuck. All that's missing now is the ability for the spider to either harvest my blood (with male) or use me as an egg holder (female) both in the rather distant future.

This is a tough question really...
I love UNP which has an abnormally large number of non-skimpy armor conversions for it - which is pure epic.
CBBE on the other hand is known for BodySlide and thus has BS and BS++ armors for it.
I do have a question of my own regarding CBBE vs UNP which I thought should go here instead of its own thread.
Now my dilemma comes from the fact that I'm planning on using a body builder mod called Pumping Iron by Gopher which is - at the time of posting - still under construction and not released. If I get this Pumping Iron mod, I will need to use CBBE with BodySlide to make weak-to-strong variants as UNP armors do not have bodyslide compatibility.
Using this information, what do you guys think I should do? If I have UNP and load up on armors, then those will have to go when Pumping Iron comes out. However if I choose CBBE with BodySlide++, then that severely limits the number of non-skimpy armors I can have. If I use UNP with Pumping Iron, then that would be just plain weird seeing boob size increase instead of muscle mass.

Any news on this ?
Edit:
Nvm didnt saw the kinky resources thread has been updated.
Erm, could someone link to the 'kinky resources' thread? I've used search for it which came up with nothing.

If this was to be made compatible with VaderApps' RBS mod, Skyrim clothes would be perfect... Except maybe have a wounds system that uses this so when a sword breaks your clothes, it actually hits the skin underneath and everyone won't be tearing clothes with swords like Zoro.

As Mans1ay3r said in Gamer Poop: The Walking Dead #1

Here is my girl - Merylin Daggercast. She's a Breton Mage type but I have her in the Live Another Life cabin so you can choose what to do with her.
In order for her to look like she does in the pictures you need -
Eye Colors with new style Eyelashes
UNP with HD textures & DIMface2(Gets rid of Breton wrinkles)
Alternate Start - Live Another Life
BOSS to sort them all out

After finally getting one of the many sex mods to work (ASX wouldn't 'grab' the male npc for a sex scene) Tolfdir decides to come into my room uninvited and make comments on how we young people don't respect magic.

You remind me of this guy... my reply is 2:11 - 2:24
As per the OP, I would love a mod that does this. However, Skyrim 'yield' is sheathing your weapon unlike a hotkey in Oblivion.
