I remember. Ergo Proxy, Serial Experiments Lain, Outlaw Star, Akira, Bakamonogatari (this anime/novel Pee'd on the established Japanese tropes), Boogiepop phantom, Real (still ongoing manga... seriously read this shit! It's real!). Read Bitter Virgin. It's a serious manga about how rape effects someone trying to have a relationship. I read this a while ago and was honestly surprised that they didn't make light of being raped like most Japanese authors do today. It's a Tropical Skyrim add-on apparently. Conveniently doesn't have any pictures of what's being added though... Zebras seem promising though.

Right now Citrus isn't compatible with the EEO sliders yet so I can see how you'd have a problem with that... makes it hard to test and see if your characters will be okay with it.
