Are there any physics in S4 (so doubtful)? I haven't dl'd the pirated character creation demo yet.   Does hair move? Boobs (yeah fuckin' right)? Clothes??   Also, has anyone seen the trees up close? I know in S3 the flowers and trees had that really creepy thing where no matter which way you look at it, the flowers and leaves and stuff were always facing you, like those haunted paintings where the eyes are looking right at you no matter where you're standing. The leaves and such would turn with your camera so you were always seeing them from their front. Creepy!   Does S4 have that anomaly?

So true. You have to dl TWO cracked .dll's to play ME3 after you mod it.

Did you get an error saying 'no game data on top level' when you installed it? If so, see corespore's post above.

I guess the "Broken CAS Fix" will be the first mod then?   Hopefully, we the people won't have to be EA's tech-support again. Remember what happened when you called EA for game support before? "First, open Origin, and sync your game with Origin". NO! That's totally unnecessary! "Next, verify your game cache". NO! Last time that broke my launcher! "What? That still didn't work? Please hold for 45 minutes while we get a '"specialist"' on the line". NO! I waited 45 minutes for you to answer your damn phone the first time! [gets put on hold anyway]...[phone disconnects after 44 minutes and 59 seconds]   Also, the launcher had better not break like the last one. I had to reinstall S3 like 5 times just to get the launcher to work again, and I know for sure I'm not alone.   Still really hoping for the "custom paintings" to come back. It would be a huge disappointment to think that option is gone now.   I wanna try this demo dammit! I can't be the only one who hasn't even used it. Time to get a cracked copy of a Character Creation demo . Never thought I'd have to stoop to that!

Sorry everyone. Been super busy with schoolwork and other comp stuff. Been learning coding and I lose track of whole days when I start making new batch files.   Okay. Let's see here...   Anyway, does it say anything else? Is that the end of the error msg? I know the "my docs" error may throw you off, but the fact that you got the error after adding that CBBE and SG stuff tells me they're responsible. Check their load order.

Man it better be. So many steps to get Sims and Origin off our comps. Games like that should give you an uninstaller (that works), or at least real instructions on how to uninstall ourselves so we don't need to browse the web to find out. PDF maybe? A text file at least?   Also, will S4 require Origin? (piece of shit spyware! Does nothing! Totally useless to us) I play S3 and Medieval all the time, but I don't need to fire up Origin to play them. I do have to fire up Origin to play Mass Effect games though. Pisses me off.

If they do charge constant money for basic things, there be an uproar from the community. Mostly because they all see it coming, and are hoping EA will compensate for all the missing content. It's all eyes on EA right about now. Everyone's got there fingers on the keys, ready to voice complaints if turns out to be a major cash-vacuum, with little reward.   I'd rather not have to pay $20 just to have fog, hail, rain and snow (all bad things). Seasons might have been worth it if it didn't rain every single day. For $20, I'd at least like to be able to adjust the climate. It's always 20 degrees in the winter, with piles of snow, and 33 - 90 degrees in the summer, with buckets of rain, regardless of where you live. Island Paradise should've given us warmer weather. If you want shitty weather, and the ability to catch a cold (which happens a lot), buy Seasons.   I hope they have drunk animations now. S4 is all about idles now (if only fore played the Sims  'FNITS4' ). If they still call liquor and beer "juice", I'm gonna lose it. NO ONE does a keg-stand of juice!   Aside from the obvious 'No Mosaic', I'm hoping modders jump directly on a height mod first. I don't want 6-foot tall teens walking around my town.  The only thing good about that is kissing animations will be smoother when the inevitable teen/adult woohoo mod is made. Aside from those, hopefully emotions are exploited next. If ever someone were gonna make a rape mod for the Sims, now would be the time. And it goes without saying that woohoo had better not be reduced to laughing under the covers again. It's infuriating to see how naive they seem to think kids are. And FYI, the Sims is more popular with adults than kids. The Sims is terrible on console, which is what the majority of kids play games on.

If you makes you feel any better DD, I'll be $50,000 in the hole once I graduate.   And I'm likely getting it too. Spending my own hard-earned cash though. The more I look at it, and see vids and stuff, the more I wanna get it. Still looks fun, even though swimming's out. Weird that they'd get rid of swimming of all things. There's a beach in EVERY world on S 3. I know they've said some things are just too complicated, and therefore time-consuming and therefore expensive, but they already made swimming. Some minor tweaks, and it can be ported to S 4. There's no doubt in my mind that EA could port animations from 3 to 4.   Lots of stuff gone, but lots of stuff added (though the stuff missing far outweighs stuff added). I should just stop thinking of it as the sequel to S 3, and start thinking of it as a new Sims game. 3 was nothing like 2, afterall. I'll consider it the difference between S 2 and the Urbs.   The world being "whole" (not sectioned into different areas/towns) will be missed, but having S 3 that way made it too heavy on GPU/CPU usage. Sectioning it again should cut load time down a ton, and make all gameplay far smoother. Also, there really couldn't be routing issues in such a small town, especially with swimming out. If there are, they need to hire some new employees.

I suppose that's possible. All I know is, there's no mod that does it (afaik). Now my sim wants to play The SimsTM.  If only there were a way to record videos like usual, and copy/paste (or whatever) the vids to the computer's or "game console's" list of games somewhere. Sounds like it would be hard, the more I think of it, considering the way you'd have to edit the footage.

NRASS certainly has a lot of crucial mods. Don't know I'd do without overwatch.   btw my S 3 takes about 1 minute to load (shitload of mods). My Skyrim takes about 8 seconds (absurd number of mods).   Bethesda can't be using the same engine for F 4...can they? Won't they ever switch?

Not yet. I'm still banging all of Cyrodiil. I've had sex over a hundred times. Just trying to find out what the f*** it takes to get the mod moving. Tired of birthing demons over and over.   When I FINALLY get to this elusive cave, I'll let you know. Just have to have sex a few more hundred-thousand times, and birth a few hundred more demons, and then I'll...need to have sex some more probably, and then I'll tell you what happens. Trust me, I'm working on it. I've literally had sex for over 30 hours real time. It's a shame wolfzq made it so you have to have sex that much. Completely ruins sex in the mod. At this point, I really don't want to have sex anymore.

Yeah. Why not? Though I'd recommend just installing the new mod. It's really quick and easy with MO. There are times when a mod gets rid of a file or 2, or replaces them with different files, so leaving the old ones there in that situation would be bad. That's kinda rare though.   What you're suggesting is the "manual" way to update a mod. I usually open both and see what's being replaced, then combine them. Or, I just install the new mod and take out the old one.     Edit: Damn you're fast Akzyra! I jumped right on that one, and saw your post when I added my reply.

Yeah I saw that too on a different site. Sad days when you need to dl a "crack" of a demo.

Actually, the slider system looks better. It seems that the CAS demo is "sign-up and hope" only now though. Silly.
