Animating for TS4 is going...not great. I'm too restricted by hand and finger movement and positioning. Things look great in Blender, but Awful in-game.   About the new world, it would appear that switching to this supposedly better engine has given EA some serious limitations that no one on their team can seem to overcome. They should just go back to the old way, and let Nrass Industries handle the rest.

You can change the Category of where clothing items will be located in-game by using s4pe or Sims 4 Studio. Find the pants, make a package file for them, and look at the Categories section to make any adjustments. I recommend S4S.

Yep. Many animations (too many) are shared by guys and girls. You made the right decision uninstalling it.   I am trying to figure out what animation I can replace that won't have this result. Some say they are specifically for females, so I'm limited to those. Still don't know what to add though. Made one, but the arm was misplaced and it looked wrong in-game, yet fine in Blender. This is turning out to be a pain.

@RC: This is certainly not the first time that's happened. Clicking Priority is step 1 for me every time. I kinda figured it was common knowledge by now. I'm in a place where I automatically assume tune-ups need to made first. I even verify my text files in profiles are showing the right orders and list.   I am a born pessimist, so I assume everything's wrong until I verify things are right.

^ Actually, I can do the custom painting thing now. Took a lifetime, but I now know where those damn files are, and have verified modding them works.   You are not alone in the "dark" theme for Sims 4. I'd like something like SexLab Defeat, where losing a Fight means your sim gets the D.

N.S.F.W.!             Sims4 X-Rated Video Overhaul by AwfulArchdemon                           Description       Porn, anyone?   As the title suggests, this a video overhaul for The Sims 4, or more specifically, an .avi overhaul. This mod adds XXX porn to the Romance channel, rape porn (only in first version) to the Action channel (since there is no Horror channel), and a certain youtube series I'm sure you're all familiar with, to be shown when Browsing the Web on your sim's desktop PC.   It also adds real stand-up comedy performances to the comedy channel, and when a music video is scheduled to play, you'll see one of my chosen vids instead.   Note: I can add whatever you want to the music videos, and I'm sure everyone has something totally different from the next guy. I just did it because I could, and it was better than what was already there.   The game will still show some original stuff. I didn't replace everything, nor did I want to. While watching a channel or browsing the web, you will see original avi vids, and the avi vids I added, at random (I think it's random).       Installation       Warning! This mod is 1.2 GB in size! You had better be ready for a LARGE file, so don't expect it to download in 5 seconds. Download from 4shared or Mega (both are uploaded by me), and choose to Extract. You will see a prompt asking for a password. *Type it in. It will extract a folder full of folders, which may seem weird for a Sims mod. You'll see why as you browse through it.   After reading the Full Description using Notepad++ (Notepad alone isn't good enough), copy the X-Rated Video Overhaul folder (contains the package file and a 'ico' folder) to the usual Mods folder in Documents. Using this in it's zipped form is just not going to work.   There are more specific instructions in the Full Description. The Description will be more specific about what's in the mod, and give you another chance to consider backing out.  I will likely add a version with something else in-place of the Action vids I have now, but I went through Hell trying to get something else, and ended up getting a virus, and a "FBI Warning", so I said "Fuck that!", and bailed. If you have something specific, I'll need the vid itself.   I'll release one without those vids tomorrow. For now, I'm just glad I'm finally done making this thing.   Check the mod out to find out what's all in it. Dude, I just remembered...when I run Obl, I don't run it with MO. I run the game itself, and all MO's mods work. I'm so sorry guys! I just started it using the game's exe, without bothering to even start MO, and it started with my girl wearing the full Cursed Armor, and a loli sleeping on my floor in my house, for some reason. No errors.   I utterly forgot about that little rule. So install all your mods to MO, and shut it down. Fire up the game, and for cryin' out loud, it should work for you, just like it works for me. (why does this never seem to be the case??)

So everyone's having Oblivion problems (except RC)? I haven't played it in a while, but every time I fire up Obl using MO, it works. Always has, as far as I can remember. The only real issue I had was using Pluggy. That needed to be installed manually. I could not find a fix for it, but maybe there is one, I dunno. Tried a million times, but Pluggy seems to be manual only.   Like I said, I haven't played it in a while, so my Obl is using a really outdated version (like, old splashscreen outdated). I can't even remember which version it is. Should I check? Wanna try that one?   Do you guys have your MO in your game folder? I have been recommending people do that since day 1.

LMAO! XD I damn-there pissed myself when I saw that! I came here to post about recent Sim events, and then I saw that, and I am currently in tears.     Anyway, I came here to say I got a job as a Detective (In Sims 4!) and suddenly I'm seeing new videos that seemed inaccessible before. I went to work and saw all the cops watching Angry Joe episodes I thought were just lost for some reason. I knew I put a lot more into SXVO than I was seeing. I expect to find some GEMs soon that I've been waiting and looking for in-game.   SXVO has stuff like this: Click the video - it will not automatically download them

Things like this happen all the time when you're talking about Skyrim. Many mysteries when it comes to mods, and how Skyrim may react to them. Saves are enigmatic as well. I have seen many problems just...disappear, never to return. I just go with it now. No more struggling to find out why these things happen to Skyrim and it's tools and mods. If it's not a problem anymore, it's not a problem anymore. Fuggit.

Yeah I'd love to know how people made new traits. If they can do that, can they Add animations? New ones that don't touch anything else? Would be sweet. If I knew what it takes to do that, an animation player wouldn't be necessary.

I was staying silent until I saw if there were different results running it outside MO. Shouldn't be...

^ Actually this one pertains specifically to the newest version. I skipped the more problematic ones, but this one I posted thinking there were no serious issues. If things are being deleted, it would pose serious confusion, since MO can't delete it's own files. Mods, sure, but only if you tell it to. It can't delete mods on it's own.   Anyway, if people using the new version aren't having these issues, it could be just the computers of the people who posted about it. That's my hope, anyway.   If someone loses files, please tell me, so I can know to get busy. If people are using it a lot, and it's doing everything right with no problems at all, I wouldn't mind hearing about that either. Confirmation that a tool is working properly is as important as knowing of any issues.

I think I have finally run into every problem I can think of making animations, and am now on the path to actually doing it right. There's more than one way to do it right, too. Many ways to do it wrong, as it turns out.   I'm still not too sure how to get 2 people in the same animation, but I'll simply ask orangemittens. Either it's not possible yet, or I simply haven't found that part. Putting 2 people in an animation is one thing, but how to do it without teleporting someone there, say someone who's not in the Active Household, is mysterious to me. I need to check it out, but I'm actually quite surprised no one is making sex anims yet. Just me?   I suppose it makes sense to start with a masturbation anim. Sex I may not be prepared to make (the 2 people thing). I believe we already have a Whacking-off mod, so this one goes out to ladies. I'll just use a sleeping position as my starting pose, and take it from there.   Here's where I immediately see a problem: TS4 no longer has a Relax option. Aside from replacing the Sleep animation, I can't see what I'd use to start it. I can't use Sit on Bed. That would screw up on-bed conversations with sims so bad...   There are definitely some limits until we can add animations that do't need to replace anything. If that happens to the TVs and PCs in the game too, I could make SXVO so it doesn't need to replace all the channels and websites. Too much replacing going on at the moment.
