You didn't need to go that far . A "yes I'm sure" was good. If you don't have permission to have that vid up on youtube, I highly suggest taking it down, unless you plan on editing blur over the nipples. I always upload videos to 4shared. Can be viewed the same, but only youtube can have it's vids posted right to other forums like that.

I saw each of those mods, but when I last looked for some of them, I found many were removed. Google is not the best at finding specific DOA mods, it seems. I always end up on Deviant Art, where everything keeps getting removed. Also, never saw a MR with anything but Honoka-sized boobs, which as we all know, is friggin enormous, and drastically disproportionate to her small frame.

That's not necessarily true. If you have one of the official DLC packs, you can modify it using the DLC tool and use it in a non-cracked version of the game.

I've adeed all the nude mods released so far to the pre-order DLC pack and I'm able to use them in my legit Steam copy. I can even go online with them. 

 

You sure about that? Not that I'm calling bullshit, but so far, you're the only person who has ever said that can be done. If it can be done that way, I would have expected many others to have mentioned it by now, but others always say to add mods as a separate DLC.

If it's true, then everyone's going about this the wrong way, and they really should be informed. The cracked exe is the only reason I have no mods installed.

Oh wow. Thanks for the info Ceebee. If thats true, I will seriously have to consider buying that swimwear DLC. Its so expensive, but worth it, if you can run proper mods with it.

Wait for a sale. Got mine for half price, except the Senran Kagura Pack, since that's one of the few that falls under 50 dollars.

If you want to do pretty much anything in DOA, you'll have to use a cracked .exe, there's no way around it, unless you want to stick to only using uMod. As for modding guides, http://www.freestepd...resources.5565/ should be a good starting point.

What happened to all the modders? So many unanswered questions...

I still need to learn this shit. I wanna mod DOA, but I'm not about to screw around with DLCs. Using those means you must use a game crack. Is that all there is now? DLC mods? And will there ever be some kind of tutorial? Messing with those tools only left me more confused.

It's really starting to look mega is the best option these days. Could get rough when everyone in the world is using mega all the time.

Those links are not legit. You could probably find out more about the issue by emailing the guy who posted (as he says), but I don't like the whole thing, if he can't even use MEGA properly. Why people insist on using shady upload sites is beyond me.

I know of no mod that acts like AW yet for TS4.

I think the best you can do at this point is just give orderly bug reports and feedback. Alpha is a very important phase, and is not intended to be taken completely seriously, or incorporated into dedicated playthroughs. Use it to see if it works, and report stuff that doesn't. Then, Beta can happen. The older version still works quite well for those who would like to use this mod with a dedicated, sentimental playthrough.

Testing this makes the beta better.

Yeah...it must be pretty old. No version number was on it (I failed to add it to MO when I installed). Does ownership matter? I can just stroll in?

I thought something was fishy when I loaded the game and it told me I needed a key to enter Breezehome, even though I have a chest full of stuff there. At this point, I don't have a clue what version it is. Time to go get a new home.

So, I'm using a rather old version. No spells or anything to banish Alicia, and no dialogue I've seen tells her to get lost. I'm gonna go try to uninstall it, turn the game on, make sure she's gone, install, and see if she shows back up. I still meet her in Breezehome in the new version, right?

it's not interactive. It's for scenery. It can be made interactive, but only I don't know what the heck anim to replace to make a "Use Toy"anim. I looked at tons and tons of them, but I can't decide what's best...

Grrrr! I found the damn woohoo animations. They don't even play in Blender! I'm afraid that if I make a sex animation, it simply won't be recognized in-game. Well, even if that's true, I can always import them to a different anim, but using 2 sims in an animation at the same time is new to me, and I'm not sure how I'd position them right, or even how to get 2 sims into the animation in a way that I could see where both would be, in-relation to one another.

I get the feeling this is gonna be a bitch. I'll probably need to bug the crap outta OrangeMittens @sim4studio. but OM doesn't seem to be talking to me anymore. Thinkin' my persona here on LL may have been discovered. Adult porny stuff is not really appreciated there, so I may not get much help anymore. Lame. Might make things harder. All I'll really need help with is positioning and importing anims to other anims in Blender. Surely we have some Blender vets here...

Does the mystery spell stay assigned? Can you equip something else? Also, it may be good to move your skeleton after your body mods. As for the 1st person thing, that's new to me. I don't think MO could cause something like that. Any errors? Other stuff working?

When you need to take a crap, could a small poopfart happen occasionally? Like, you need to go, and as you walk, a little squeaker comes out, reminding you that you have a turtle-head poking out. I still have a bunch of fart sounds, so I could easily dig up a lil' squeaker. It could be an addon, but I might as well ask about it before the new version is released. If it's an addon, I'd need someone to implement the recurring fart (on a timer), since my CK can't compile.

Could become more than a mere "squeaker" when it gets close to "go time", or just happen more frequently. Would be awesome to have people comment on your ass when you're busting it, but I don't know what I'd have them say.

Also, could you add a MCM option to let you "go" indoors?

I guess that future EA updates breaking mods and rendering all your hard work useless would be a concern too. For me one of the most promising, exciting mods for TS3 is only a WIP after how long since TS3 reached it`s last patch.

 

Yep. Every update seems to break mods. In the case of animations though, I could just import the anim to it's new file, if it gets changed by an update. XML mods seem to always be doomed. It's getting to the point where I'm thinking EA breaks XML mods on purpose each time.

For everyone: Do not use this mod, if you want to play as usual. This mod will corrupt interactions. Sims won't do anything but standing put till dying.

Damn....it's that bad? Ever get the feeling EA is purposely screwing up xml mods? Why the need to keep messing with every tuning that interacts with romance? Now they'll DIE if you use this mod.....ridiculous

Dammit. I'm sorry everyone, but most of these requests can't be achieved at the moment. Don't think for a second I don't always look at them, and I am more than willing to make all of them (with some help I hope), but just about all of these requests require the ability to allocate our own animations, which can't be done. (or they require xml tuning which I can't do)

I can make accessories, but they would replace other accessories. I can make animations, but they would replace other animations. I can make any number of "usable toys", but so far, the only usable toys are usable by children. Adults have no "toys" that they alone interact with, unless I replace a cooking animation, or something (wouldn't work out). Appliances, maybe. I'd have to replace making coffee, or something, since kids can't do that (can they?), but other than that, there is not much, if anything I can think to replace that would work for a sex anim. I don't think I can replace the Woohoo "roll around under the covers and laugh" anim. I haven't even found it yet.

Even if I could, buffs could not be applied (by me). Buff names could be changed, but if I were to make a proper mod, I'd need to replace a lot of stuff. Basic stuff. This game is very modder unfriendly. It's not like TS3, and don't let EA tell you otherwise.

I'd pretty much need to remake TS4.

I'm trying. I have resources, but they don't matter if I can't allocate them. I want what you want. I want hardcore porn. I want hookers! I want strip clubs, with stripper animations! You're damn right I do! I also want....other modders! Everything I've ever done for TS4 has been done alone. Can I get some friggin help? Alone, I am OK. Combined with another, I am Almighty! Also, do you know Blender inside and out? I don't! However, with my knowledge of 3ds Max/Maya, things could progress real nicely around here.
