  1. See, in my perfect world, all mods would be just loose files in folders. No packages. Life would be a breeze for us all, at that point. Packages are good for saving space, but that can cause our current issue, for example. It's easy as hell to get to desired files, to open and alter them, there's no longer any effort needed to find correct file paths and names, and patches/updates can be very easily added to the mod's folder, instead of it being easier to just install the patch/update after the mod it's for in the load order.

Things could get hairy for super high-rez texture mods, but this would merely serve to make us all more selective about our mods, instead of installing everything in sight. For me, if I find a game I want to install a ton of mods for, I commit, and usually uninstall some other game, to make room for tons of mods. I'd rather use the extra memory than end up with some package-related issue down the road.

  2. I don't unpack shit. :P

If I get bsa, I use it. If there is a mod addon I want to make, I just look up the file path, and make totally separate files for that, since the bsa will be loaded first.

  3. Did the Online Mode screw up mods? Is it now bannable to use mods?

And has anyone compiled a real tutorial for making true nude mods?? The main reason I haven't made any is because I don't know the specifics on how to properly extract meshes/models, and get them back into the game (

preferably without needing a cracked exe). If I knew wtf to do, I'd get on it. Textures aren't meshes, and therefore don't serve my purpose. I'm talkin' about full-frontal here. Then, we can just add custom clothes to that body.

And what happened to the oversized pic of MR that was here? Apparently someone here is making a good mod for her; one that doesn't include a 36" DD cup size. Every nude mod for her seems to be getting removed throughout the web.

Do all mods require a cracked exe now?

  4. The patch author Arthmoor claims it only conflicts with MO as a result of unpacking Skyrim BSAs.

If you are using Mod Organizer and are here to report issues with dragon souls, sorry, but you're on your own as we do not support issues caused by incorrectly letting that program modify the BSA load order system the game has. Your post is likely to just be ignored. We don't have time to keep fending off false bug reports caused by people who insist on unpacking their BSA files using the program and thus subverting the entire system the game relies on for proper behavior.

    Did you do that D_ManXX2?

  5. It's late but:

    MO Message of the Day

Updated to 1.3.8. This is a small bugfix release (see changelog)

Updated to 1.3.7. Please see the changelog for a list of bugfixes.
Again thanks a lot to thosrtanner for a lot of contributions to the integrated FOMOD installer.

Please note that 1.3.x only support Windows 7 and newer so you will have to stick with 1.2.18 if you're using XP or Vista.

Interesting. We have people reporting positive issues, now. An increase of fps is my kind of bug. :P

@germanicus, red letters in Data simply mean you have the mod installed manually, and in the mods folder. Get rid of doubles.

  6. Still trying to figure out why the desktop needs to be 1680x1050, though. It fills the screen, just like 1920x1080 would with games. Makes no damn sense. My desktop icons, and websites I browse, and pics I view are all somewhat lower rez, due to the seemingly foreign, or at least unoptimized 1920x1080 rez. Feels like this TV has a larger screen than it should, and 1920x1080 pushes it to unnatural levels, with expected consequences. Still, looks better than it did before I put the comp's rez back to the recommended 1920x1080, and using NVIDIA to resize.

  7. Okay, here's what I think is going on here:

I switched my computer back to the "recommended" 1920x1080 resolution. It cut all of my taskbar icons off the screen, just as I knew it would. Then I used NVIDIA to change the resolution to 1680x1050, like I used on my last TV.  It looked fine. This TV seems to be Optimized at 1920x1080, yet it doesn't translate too well with my computer. I don't know why.

So, the NVIDIA card did the resizing, and I have no doubt it's working. I know this because after manually changing the rez to 1680x1050, things looked good again, but a large chunk of the top and bottom of the screen was removed (black), meaning only 1920x1080 will fully fit the screen, even for my games. The Desktop, however, needs 1680x1050 rez. Just so confusing...

This means that, even though I am using a 1080p HDTV, like the last one, it has a larger screen, regardless of the fact that they are both considered 55" LED 1080p HDTVs. It will still use 1080p, but it being stretched to a larger size, meaning pixelation will be more evident. I suppose all I need to do is play games in 1680x1050, and pretend I don't see the missing top and bottom portions of the screen. So long as it's NVIDIA doing the resizing, and the computer resolution itself is set to the recommended 1920x1080, it goes back to looking good, but since it's simply a bigger screen running the same 1080p as my last one, which defaulted at 1680x1050, it just doesn't look as crisp. It's a mixed blessing, since I can just keep things at 1680x1050  anyway, and use the same size as before.

  8. One of these days, I'll get something to work right. It might be basic, with no real hand interaction, but as long as I can get a guy to plow a snatch with with his dong, I should be okay. Just gotta concentrate more on body motion, and less on getting each frame exactly how I want it. If genital A meets genital B at point X, I can do...something good. It's not impossible, just (terribly) restricted (for now).

  9. Made 3 already, but they're all fails. Not sure what EA does differently when making fingers move. Also, TS4 sims have a tongue in-game, but not in Blender. Haven't checked max yet. Also, I can't seem to get breast bones to stay locked in their keyframes. No boob physics (for lack of a more technically accurate term) without that happening, as far as I can tell.

  10. Arch, if you are still looking for testers, I'd be happy to be a guinea pig/willing victim.

Lemme see what I can come up with. Would be nice if I wasn't the only one doing this...

  11. Got my speakers working. Get this shit...all I did was change the default to something I didn't have installed, and back to my Speakers/Headphones slot, and then it decided to work. Whatever...

As for my GPU thing, there is a dramatic difference in the way my PC looks with my NVIDIA being used, instead of the computer's default graphics processor. Looks like ass right now, and updating the driver made the screen go black, and then pop back up, as it normally would, only it looked just as bad. Sucks. Guess I'll try rebooting or something. Messing with tons of NVIDIA options doesn't seem to give me any sort of progress. Haven't tried to play a game yet, but I suspect it'll look like ass too.

  12. Animating for TS4 is going...not great. I'm too restricted by hand and finger movement and positioning. Things look great in Blender, but Awful in-game.

About the new world, it would appear that switching to this supposedly better engine has given EA some serious limitations that no one on their team can seem to overcome. They should just go back to the old way, and let Nrass Industries handle the rest. :P

  13. I bought a new Insignia 1080p HDTV, but when I turned it on, it looked like it was using the Intel GPU instead of my NVIDIA GTX 650ti. Graphics are very low. I checked settings and I don't know why it looks like this. I downloaded and installed the newest driver just to try to trick it into using the NVIDIA GPU, but it looks exactly the same.

Also, I bought a Logitech z506 5.1 6-channel surround sound speaker set, but it doesn't seem to work. I have my HDMI plugged into the NVIDIA card.

Why won't anything work anymore? I didn't have this problem with my old Insignia 1080p HDTV, or my old Logitech 5.1 surround speakers. WTF? I did nothing different during installation, and for some reason, it "recommended" 1920 x 1080 this time, instead of 1680 x 1050, like it did last time. 1680 x 1050 is what a 55" 1080p TV w/HDMI is supposed to use, but it doesn't seem to agree.

How do I get my PC to use all of the right stuff? It only seems to use it's own stuff instead of Logitech speakers and my NVIDIA GPU.

For all those who have been wondering where the hell I've been...I had a really terrible situation, and am currently attempting to recover. I apologize for my absence.

  14. Sex animations

As it is now, sex animations can only be replacers of other animations, and would end up all screwy considering most animations are shared between genders. When 'new' animations can be made, sex anims can be made without such worries.

Also, I've seen animations I made in Blender look right in Blender, but position the arm incorrectly in-game. Some kinks need worked out before this can be done right, I guess.

Usable sex toys like a Sybian and Dildoes/Vibrators. Perhaps with Embarassed consequences if your guests find them.

I have them made, but as stated above, animations can only replace other animations. Not sure what I could possibly replace that would make a sex-toy animation feasible.

Low-rise pants that are in the pants slot and not some form of jeggings

You can change the Category of where clothing items will be located in-game by using s4pe or Sims 4 Studio. Find the pants, make a package file for them, and look at the Categories section to make any adjustments. I recommend S4S.

  15. Yep. Many animations (too many) are shared by guys and girls. You made the right decision uninstalling it.

I am trying to figure out what animation I can replace that won't have this result. Some say they are specifically for females, so I'm limited to those. Still don't know what to add though. Made one, but the arm was misplaced and it looked wrong in-game, yet fine in Blender. This is turning out to be a pain.
