  Had to resize and adjust a Kijiko hairstyle for my Khajiit hybrid recently. Tried to make the changes with NifSkope. Had to fiddle about a bit but it works fine ingame now!    

  Don't think so. But you can change this in NifSkope with just a few skills. (Don't forget to change the hairline position accordingly!)

Create followers with own custom race. They work perfectly with AFT. Just know older versions of UFO. Had a lot of bugs and problems ingame with that mod.
