I am changing and adding stuff to the city as well, for an semi-open world game, old game save will become extremely buggy. That's the main reason why I prefer big updates instead of pumping out a new version of my game every week or two.

I can't say I understand fully, but if adding a option to skip the intro will let you enjoy my game more, I will add the option in. ^^

I probably will add an option to let people skip the tutorial (are you referring to the whole zombie combat part?). However, I am a bit confused about what you said ([dutiful, idealistic, quiet and trusting] pretty much requires I not be aware of the tutorial), care to elaborate? 

P.s I changed my combat system, so there will be more combat in the game.

I just finished the game. Amazing work Alako! Of course the smut was good but the world building was just superb!

It's not crazy at all, I am making a texture adventure game with similar ideas already. Coding isn't that hard to learn.

Planning a new area that wasn't in the original plan......and steam is kind of kicking my free time's butt. 

I am planning events with my co-writer right now...but it will take many weeks till the next update is done...

Thanks for all the kinds words, I am glad that my 200-300 hours didn't go wasted.

As for your questions:

1) Currently, there aren't any ways to earn money other than gambling and stealing from a person that you knocked out cold. There will be at least 2 side quests added to the beginning of the game in the future though.

2) The main storyline of the game is divided into two sections of city exploration. After you adventure further into the main story, you will return to the city few days later. Therefore, you can't trigger the 3rd molestation scene right now. (also...I haven't written it yet )

I will start working on it again in the beginning of June if everything goes as I planned. =]

The game is currently in a short hiatus because of real life stuff leaves me with very little free time to work on it.   Development should be resume sometime around June.

I probably will consider mega, but last time I download something from it using firefox, it make me download a plugin first. Is that still the case?

There are more than 5500 downloads of 0.30. I think the first day download is over 800 copies, which is more than 40gb of traffic. @__@....so drop box probably won't work.

I picked Mediafire, because it has the fastest free download speed for users, but it has been annoying to other RAGS developer lately. So, I uploaded to rapidgator right now until I find a better solution. (link in op)

Yeah...RAGS is not a really good engine and some player might not realize how much work I need to put in just to add some dialogues base on condition. It's probably a good idea to pace yourself to avoid getting burnout. I am looking forward to your release.

Sorry to hear about real life events interferring.  I hate it when that happens.  Which is why I try to avoid real life as much as possible.

Gladiatrix III, Celeritas Eos, Demon Heart, and a few RAGS games should be able to fill your summer. ^^

Good News

My editor work hard to go over nearly 30K amount of text and polished most of the scenes. So here is a bug/text fix version of the game. Also, many people have problems finding some of the scenes, so I added a basic walkthrough of the game.

Bad News:

For the past 2-3 months, I have been spending nearly all my free time working on the game. After hundreds hours, I am getting pretty tired. More importantly, there are lots real life stuff I have to deal with. Therefore, I won't be working on the game much for the next two months. I will still update the blog occasionally to let you guys know what's going on, but there won't be any significant progress till summer (unless I win the lotto or something ).

The next section will be mainly about the main quest. So...there will be lots problem solving and combat. However, if you want to play the low MH route, you can always try to max out your mental corruption and skip most of the main quest. On the other hand, I will also update the city by adding side quests. You can also use the extra income to fix the VR glasses as well.

Let me go ask around for you, cause i seen that before... Meanwhile, try reinstall RAGS, make sure it's 2.4.0.0 and try redownload my game. It's also possble that that it has to do with window media player...maybe you can google that. Good luck!

I get an error message  when I try to play the demo. "Sorry, this RAGS game file is unreadable"

One likely reason is that you didn't download the file and save in your pc. Instead you open the file direct when you download. Rags file have to be save to pc instead to run. =]

That's really weird @_@, because it does work in my save. If you want to do a low-MH playthrough, can you check if the bug is still there? If not , it's just RAGS going crazy for no reason...again...=__="

Next release will be all about puzzle and combat. The one after that will be city exploration mix with new dangers around town.

Wow! You just fulfilled one of my goals of my little project! I wish more people will try their hands on making a small game like this.
