I've seen these in my own logs in the past when I was getting constant CTDs. I still have no fucking idea what the hell they're from. Does anyone here have any idea? Are these remnants from the XBox game being ported to PC?
it's not a bug. You're getting steam achivements.
And lol this thread is still going ...

Uhmm, the fourth log after ACanOfWin disabled Estrus and Actorevents on the new save only has one issue, the Devious Device mods mis-match. On the first start up SkyUI and Sexlab have a lot of work to do, which they did.
That log is fine. The next time that save is loaded, the size of the log will shrink as all the registration is done.
Ah ha! I see. Damn my ADD. Show's how much in-detail I read lately.
ACOW has clearinvaildregistrations=1 enabled right?
be sure to /wait 1 hour also. Still though. Sex mods enabled on serious playthrough is a no-no for future references! : )

Check out my guide: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/26468-guide-want-a-ctd-free-and-blistering-fast-skyrim-game-here-you-go/
Honestly your papyrus log is horrible. You should, at MAX have a save log 60kb (even I think this is too much - mine is 28Kb with a shit ton of mods and never gets bigger - 8kb without a few script based ones), and if your save file is anything over 10MB you have problems.
As stated in my guide, do NOT use sex based mods and framework in a "serious" playthrough - especially mods that are alpha/beta status; and then wonder what the hell is happening to your game ... this should be common sense ... I mean no offense of course.
You can struggle with your completely trashed game, or you can just use it as Jerk-Off material (instead of the million pictures/videos on the internet of porn) and live with the crashes.
If you actually want to play an extremely stable game, AND keep your sex mods (for JO material?) - only activate the .esm's/.esp's when wanting to fuck around, and NOT SAVE -- quit the game, when you're uh... done, and then disable the sex .esp's/.esm files and continue with a stable game.0 -
Uriel is correct. Wet & Cold, Frostfall, etc., will search for compatible mods that work with said mods. These are not errors.
However, as I said, if you see spam for things you may have uninstalled in the past; or errors that only occured after completing a quest (that may have bugged out - The wedding singer bard in Solitude and the Mages guild quest line errors that sometimes occur are known problems that sometimes happen) then that is bad.

I'd still get the fixes IMO. I have read that the unofficial patches fixed stuff before, but when I went to test and check logging, the errors were still there. They did not go away until I got his fixes. The only one I knew for sure to be fixed, was the blue palace one.The script fixes you posted for steve40 . . .
the only one not included in 2.0 of the Unofficial Skyrim patch are 3 of the critter scripts, the rest have been included already.
For the critters the USKP used critter.pex, critterbird.pex, critterfish.pex & critterspawn.pex. No reason was given as to why they didn't include all of them, but Arthmoor & company are pretty particular about what constitutes a fix.
Just a heads up.
Users can do their own testing by just getting the unofficial patches, start a new game and save once you have your bindings cut off. Save the game and turn off. Turn on logging and load game -- run around for a few minutes and log off -- if you notice fxdustdrop errors then you definitely still need the fix.
The critter stuff you'll notice outdoors (after you get out of the cave). If you don't have any critter errors (test for an hour or more with this one - run all around Skyrim) then you're good to go. If not, you must start a new game and place the critter fixes in as well. Same with the predator scripts.
Remember: these fixes work best on new games. They Will not prevent these errors occurring in an already game going.

Hmm, just a question, my log is around 68kb after 4 hours of playing. Is it normal considering I'm playing with Lanterns of SKyrim, Enhanced Blood, Wet and Cold, OBIS, and 3DNPC now?
I use a decent amount of script mods (I shouldn't! But can't resist) and my log file is around 28kb.
I guess 60-something isn't .. Too bad? You would have to look over your papyrus log yourself; if you see shit constantly being spammed and especially for things you may not have installed anymore .. Well then that's not good

Nope, it's not what occlusion culling does. It tries to prevent the parts of the scene you don't see(objects located behind objects you see now) from being rendered by your GPU.
i don't like the idea of things vanishing/reappearing depending on how demanding the current scene is.Why don't use occlusion culling?
also I read on STEP it was causing additional water flicker.
Things appearing/disappearing is more about [ADAPTIVEQUALITY] section and the usual ways TES4/5 acts.
Ah understood. I suppose this is a nice feature for those that need it. I've never had it enabled before (not by a mod) and when it appeared in the latest ENBs I still have no use for it, as I don't have any performance problems. It is indeed good to know though.
In FF14, OC caused things not to render on screen when there was way too much going on. Could have been a bug in how their OC worked.

If you use ENB, it's a bad idea to run Texture Optimizer thing. That's what Boris said.
The laptop I'm playing Skyrim on at the moment doesn't have the balls needed to add an ENB. And by optimizing textures it also helps me gain quite a few frames per second. Of course, if I was currently playing on something that could handle ENBs then I wouldn't bother with the texture optimizing.
Good info to know, though. I will be getting a more game-friendly machine very soon.
ENBoost and normal ENB is different. My laptop i beastly for a laptop, but it can't handle ENB either - but I use ENBoost on it.
I do not use the compression setting in ENBoost. Mine is set to false, along with EnableOcclusionCulling.

Wait, why is it bad to run the texture optimizer?
I've known from early on many authors saying "Do NOT use texture optimizing tools with this mod."
People still recommend NOT to use any kind even to this day.
"Why?" you ask? I admit I don't know the technial detail behind it. But many prominent authors have said not too. One must only scroll down on many big texture packs on the nexus and see it listed themselves.
I'm sure they have good reason to say so : )
And anyway, no one has any business using any kind of optimizers - if your system can't handle something, then turn down the graphics and get rid of some crazy high detail textures and meshes - that's like polishing a piece of shit; no matter what, it'll still be a piece of shit : (

start screen mem looks like this:
@honesty but why does it then sometimes load on the first try and after load i can play without any problems
because. It's the same thing as taking your car to the shop, you know, the one you been having problems with; and when you finally get there, your car shows no problems (at the moment) and the mechanic is looking at you like you have two-heads.
Just because ** SOMETIMES ** it'll load fine, and 90% of the other times you have issues, is... no man : ( Come on.
You have an extremely F'd up papyrus log. I'm talking seriously bloated and FULL of shit. If your log is anyting over 20KB, you're doing it wrong. And I mean 20KB after 10 mins ~ hour of testing. If your log fills up within minutes with that junk, you have problems.

Holy mother of god - your papyrus log! No wonder you insta crash : /

Sorry Uriel, I didn't notice that second part. Never optimize your textures, but using TES5edit is extremely recommended if you can "handle" it : )
And I had no idea you compiled one yourself... So I'm sorry if I insulted your intelligence or something. Was not my intent.0 -
If you use ENB, it's a bad idea to run Texture Optimizer thing. That's what Boris said.
I did not list any Texture optimizers and never recommend using them. The Memory Patch is a recompiled skse loader (there is a alternate version on Nexus now, and skse team released an alpha with it enabled .. i think).
Ok, and where can we get steve40's script fixes?

Good advice.
How about cleaning with TES5Edit and optimizing textures? I've done that on my last install (and switched to using MO as well as what you've listed here) and I've had the smoothest, most trouble-free experience yet.
Going to add this to the list... god. I use TESedit and FOedit all the time .. Definitely adding.

Hello all. After replying to many people, I decided to "update and revise" my list. If a mod could look this over, I'm sure they will agree to everything I mention in this list, and know none of it is snake-oil - and if you could sticky it, would be great.
"How to I go about making Skyrim 99.9% stable?"
Here is how:

1.) Uninstall and reinstall Skyrim - let everything update
2.) Install the CK (this is important) - let everything update
3.) Set Skyrim *AND* the CK, under "tools", to: "DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE THIS GAME"
4.) Install latest unofficial Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfires and Dragonborn patches - put them in the NEW correct load order way
5.) install steve40's FxDustDrop error script fix
6.) get latest SKSE
7.) Launch Skyrim via Steam and set all your options. NEVER (of course) launch this way again, unless you want your .ini file to get overwritten
8.) Launch game, set options how you want them via in-game
9.) Do all your .ini tweaking (my documents folder) - make backups of your .ini files in case you accidently launch via steam (I do this sometimes) and not NMM/SKSE
10.) Get the Memory Patch and ENBoost (as in the boost itself, you don't need to add/change colors or anything 'fancy' like that - nothing will run except the ENBoost part)

(optional but recommended 11.) Clean Update.esm, and then Dawnguard.esm, then Hearthfires.esm and finally Dragonborn.esm with TES5edit. This may seem "scary" but it's simple. Open TES5edit, right click when your load order pops up and select un-select everything. Clean them one at a time, in the order I listed. By loading, "update.esm" for example, it'll autoload the skyrim.esm and .exe (the other files will autoload what they need also, even if you don't check them).

right click, again as an example, on update.esm. Select "apply filter for cleaning" and wait until it's done. Then right click and select "delete idenitical to master records" wait until done. Then select "undelete and disable references."

And never, EVER clean skyrim.esm. and NEVER clean the unofficial patches.
close tes5edit - it'll ask you to make a backup of original file - as default it's checked to make a backup. i recommend keeping a backup.

LASTLY - Remember - THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "CLEAN SAVING" I CAN NOT STRESS this enough. If you don't "believe" me, ask the creator of Papyrus on the beth forums or ask Arthmoor over @AFK mods or Nexus. It simply DOES NOT EXIST in Skyrim.
You can QUOTE-Clean Save-UNQUOTE and this will possibly not destory your save, with certain mods (especially if they're not script based), but again - does not exist in Skyrim. Any mods you have in your current playthroughs, plan on keeping forever.
Once your bindings are cut off, and you have control of your character, save your game and log off. Enable PAPYRUS settings via .ini and go back into the game. Run around for a minute and log off. Try to have a tissue box next to you as you'll be weeping when your log is 8kb or less and you see a total of maybe 3 whole lines. You're welcome : )
(P.S: Do Not play the game with papyrus logging settings turned on at all times. This makes your HDD work harder and makes the game slower. There is no need to do this -- only when testing or checking for errors)
Disclaimer: This list, combined with NOT adding useless and dangerous tweaks to your .ini file, will result in you having the experience of your life.
By adding dangerous tweaks, such as "imaxallocatedmemorybytes=OVER9THOUSAND!!!!" and very heavy script based (especially Civil War - I believe STEP blacklisted this mod) will not help your cause.
Also, use sex-based mods on a "serious" playthrough at your own risk. Most are alpha/beta for a reason - and the engine was never programmed to have a bunch of dildos and fluids splashing around every where.
Follow every step on the list, do not skip over any because you think you're a know-it-all and then report problems.

UPDATE: The latest Unofficial Patches have added their own tweaked/fixes for the LvPredator and Critter fixes. They have done this right after I had wrote up this guide. What this means is, if you had followed this guide, and are now recieving a ton of LvPredator/Critter errors, you have two options:You can make a backup of your Scripts folder (including everything inside - just drag a copy to your desktop or something) and manually remove all of Steve40's fixes minus the FxDustDrop one (you can keep that one) from the Scripts and Source folder within Scripts.
When you load in, you will notice in your logs you now only get a few small errors (since you removed his scripts) instead of a hugely bloated log filled with errors. This should make your log go from (example) 20kb to about 22kb or so, instead of the 200kb+ before removing.
The second thing you can do is, remove the files manually like stated above, except this time start a fresh game and you shouldn't even get the small errors anymore.
Thought I'd add this before anyone yells at me for breaking their game. If you do not wish to start a fresh game, please do not download the latest Unofficial Patches. Thanks in advance guys!9 -
So Sheson's memory patch was added officially. Nice. I'm using a recompiled steam_loader skse file at the moment. Good to see they added it AND seems like a bunch of other stuff was added as well..
I LOVE stability. Can't wait for a beta/Official release.0 -
ENBoost + Skyrim Memory Patch + Not putting stupid lines in your .ini file in hopes of making it stable = Zero crashes with a hyper realistic modded skyrim game with 1024~4096 sized textures and shadows + full version of RealVision ENB.
THIS is the fix for all your ails : )1 -

I never bend over backwards for any company. Even if Beth had made this (they would never release such a piece of garbage), and not Zenimax ... the game still sucks.
I was in the beta, and I can tell you here and now, why they are not releasing more info/screens/videos, even when release is so close. I can also bet there will be NO open beta and if there is, it will not last long. They don't want you to see how bad it is, because it is *really* fucking bad. I am not making funny.
The animations ALONE make this game terrible. It almost reminds me of that DnD game released back in like 04 or 05 or some shit. When i used my bow, it felt like I was shooting wet spaghetti and dual wielding felt as if i was swinging two soaping wet towels. The combat is some STRANGE TES/MMO hybrid style and it .. it ... uuuggh. You have no idea. Have fun forcing yourself to "like" this. I understand brand loyalty/fanboyism and defending ones purchase -- but no. Just no.
This is nothing about judging a book by its cover. I put a good 4~5 hours (and don't start with the straw-man argument that I need to put more hours in to fully realize it's "awesomeness" -- I'm 30 years old and have been playing MMO's since Ultima Online. I buy and play and TRY 95% P2P MMO's that are released, as I don't like F2P - I know from the moment I start the game, and put at least an hour or two in, if it's going to be engaging or not) into the game and could just not go any more.
It was the first time I stopped playing AND uninstalled before the beta was even over.
This game won't even last as long as Star Wars did.0 -
Following this thread, especially since I started up New Vegas again and was thinking: "I wish someone would make a companion mod with the DoA mod!" - lo and behold you've done it, AoT.
Very nice work. I'm happy to see something like "plausible save game bloat fixed" though .. and a little afraid : ). My game is pretty tweaked and everything runs 100% (no crashes - and I've had zero crashes with a super modded Skyrim also, thanks to that new memory patch .. hmm I wonder, if it was just a skse compiled code, and since these games share the same engines... could it be possible to do the same to the NVSE file?) so the thought of my save getting bloated bothers me a bit.
The bug with not being able to chage her spinal light ... I can live with that, since this mod is awesome. Will install next update - take care!0 -
lolilabs is basically an armor pack, adds a basement with a special anvil and workbench for crafting these armors
Where does it add a basement? And do I need to coc/teleport there?
Lolilab is stable but its huge file(1.7gb) so always put it on bottom loadorder even when BOSS wanne place it higher this is importend or you will crash.Tes5Edit always unless other wise adviced by author of mod.
I myself have removed many armors becouse i don't like them so my filesize is around 800mb. I got a small lolilab file and large lolilab file now:)
Naamloos.jpgWell, I don't see any reason to remove meshes/textures from the folders, since they're standalone and will not be loaded unless I specifically craft them; so I don't see any reason this would cause a performance loss (other than navigating through the anvil's catagories/armord and perhaps having it crash -- I have 6GB vRAM however so I'm good here -- memory limit is another story though).
Thanks guys in advance : )

What does the lolilabs pack add to the game? Kinda late to the party on that one.
Does it add a house/place you can go to craft whatever this mod is? Does it cause crashes because it adds something to the world space? Are the textures/meshes overly large? Is this stable and/or need to be cleaned via TESedit? Sorry for all the questions -- and happy late holidays/new year : )0 -
Hi evasiadutch,
thanks for your answer. That helps me alot! Now finally i can dress my girl with all this sweet gear

I hope someone could help me with this camera problem too. Than i am still happy

Hm.. don't know why you're having a camera problem? Are you perchance using RacemenuPlugin.esp? Racemenu works fine with CoTS, but the Plugin and add-on's do not play well together. i am also unsure if ECE plays together nicely also. In the very begining of R1, I actually think it was recommended to use ECE.. now it's not even mentioned.
I don't know what else I suggest... except maybe look at all/any mods that alter height and/or camera. I hope you get it working soon~
