Ouch! That's... unfortunate. I'm sorry I feel really bad for not thinking about possible save breaking with the update, since I didn't have a male character around before making one to test the reported SoS problems.
Only thing I can think of is revert to the previous version. I hope you still have it, because I lost all the archived versions in a stupid accident.

If you don't have it, try going in with tes5edit, navigate to armor addon and see if changing male 1st person model back to malebody_1.nif can salvage your save. Don't know if it will work but give it a shot.

Having strange problem with Ashara Princess of the Woods. Full weight version seems to work just fine, but the low weight one has leg and arm somehow confused which looks really freaky.
I followed this tutorial here. First time I thought I had just screwed up something, but I made sure I carefully followed each step and it came out same on each try.
I've attached the files here.

Update time!
2.5.2 contains limited SOS support because I've been informed that was an issue and causing CTDs for male drow. There's also new male body textures that I liberated from the schlong mod, both to avoid unfortunate texture issues and also because they made me drool like a little girl.
For now, I believe SOS works only for equippable... equipment, and there are some issues involving its colour and also seams with low body weight, but I have no idea what I can do about that. I'd like to add a full support in the future, but I'll have to investigate what that would involve.
Please report any problems you encounter.

this mod seems to break Sexlab. everything worked fine before. I installed this mod, loaded my nord who was enslaved via SD, but when a sexlab animation started, it CTDs. It did this several times before I uninstalled this mod. now it works fine.
Unlikely.
Try here instead:

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that.

I currently don't have skyrim installed, but I'll make sure it's done right in the next release, whenever that will be. Meanwhile best I can do is replace that bit on the descripton page with a link to your post.

Try if it's any better with all the other race mods disabled.
Technically it should work with them, but I've had similar reports before so who knows.

I've tried using the original mod in the past, but ran in to a problem where there was only a single option for the hair.
I have the same problem again this time, even though I've installed it correctly (or maybe I didn't?)
Do I have to add any custom hairs via the CK/Tesedit5?
Strange thing is, it's just a single vanilla hair, yet all the others are gone.
All installed hairs should be readily available.
Sounds like some sort of mod conflict. Do you have any other custom races installed?

Hmm, doesn't the Epic Elf have a similar head style? Could try using that?
Doesn't look like its ears are part of the headmesh, so no.
I've also looked at some other alternatives but found nothing suitable.
I really don't know what to do about this that doesn't mess up the existing faces, and if I do that I might just as well rebuild the mod from scratch.
I don't really have the time and energy for that, but at least I wouldn't have to worry about it being someone else's mod anymore, so perhaps some day.

Ok so replacing the head mesh or using the vanilla one would lose or change the ears and mess up existing character faces. No surprises there.
If I could locate a suitable replacement the latter is just an unfortunate inconvenience, but I haven't had any luck so far.
I'm open for any and all suggestions on how to deal with this.

Odd thing I noticed, the nose and mouth seem to be a bit out of alignment(off-center). Nose to the left of the mouth when looking at the character; or it could the the mouth is misaligned to the right of the nose.
Never noticed that, but yeah I can see what you mean.
I think that's a problem with the headmesh zazemel's original mod provided.
I kept it (and the horrible presets) around because I wanted the mod to be useable for people upgrading from the outdated version. In hindsight probably not a good decision.
I'm not too bothered because there aren't many people on this planet that have 100% symmetrical face, but I'll investigate if I can replace or remove the headmesh without breaking anything, however I don't have the skills to tamper with the mesh to fix it directly.
It could be possible to fix in-game it with ECE's vertex editor. Never tried it myself but worth a look if it really bothers you. I think RaceMenu is going to implement something similar in near future.

I don't like spamming people with big downloads so I was going to sit on this update a bit longer untill had something more substancial to add to it, but I've uploaded 2.5.1a version.
It contains texture updates that should hopefully reduce the seams (I didn't realise it was that bad but I'm not spending much time on Skyrim at the moment), however mind that to my best knowledge UNP seams can't be completely eliminated. Also ADEC support added.
I hope that it helps but no promises.
What comes to the sharp fingers problem, I'm 100% certain that's some sort of spell effect on you.

I was using the textures for CNHF 2.5 when that screenshot was taken.
Went and deactivated ALL the mods I'm running, save this one, and the problem was gone, so something is interfering. I'm currently testing all the mods, one by one, to try and find the culprit. Once I do that I'll get back to you.
Are you 100% sure you don't have the old CNHF 1.0 textures haunting your mod folder? They're no longer included in this mod but if you have overwritten old version they'd still be in the optional files folder.
Just to be absolutely clear, if you're using CNHF 2.5, you should be using the default textures (which are also included in the optionals in "Textures for UNP, UNPB, CNHF, 7B" folder.
Also mind that CNHF 1.0 is no longer supported, so if you're using that then you need to upgrade.

Does this race have it's own path for meshes, or is it using the female ones in the meshes\actors\character\character assets path?
It has its own head mesh, but the body uses the default path.
is there a short way of modifying it to use a custom body mesh via the CK? I'm confident enough that i can muck around with it if i know what i'm doing.
I can't remember the details, but paths to the nude body meshes should be somewhere in ArmorAddon entries under the items category.
You probably have to also edit the custom meshes you wish to use in Nifskope to point to the drow texture paths.
Total newcomer here in need of help... I screwed up somewhere with DDSopt I think, because after getting one crash too many I went and downsized lots of textures to 1024x512... and this started to happen... notice how the fingers end in a very ugly needle-sharp point?
What went wrong? I would be certain of the issue being related to this mod, because I created a Breton character to test if the problem appeared there too, and no, it doesn't. Reinstalling did not help.
EDIT: maybe it's the overlay-like effect applied by buff spells?
EDIT 2: also experiencing neck and wrist seams. Dang it.
Ok I don't know what's going on there. Are you sure you're using the correct textures for your body type?

perhaps next you could put the child version back in
?Not going to happen, sorry.
Reason I removed them was that I simply wasn't comfortable with Zazemel including them in the first place, so when I started my own version they were the first thing to go. I won't have any part in what people would do with them.

Looks like it.
I did also have to specify a destination folder in Config.xml instead of wherever it was trying to put them by default, and I did copy manually the textures I wanted to change into the source folder to get it working on a custom race, but that's it it seems.

Thanks, I got it working just with what you said in the earlier post you deleted.

I'm just trying to get rid of neck seams on my custom race, but I wasn't ready to though too much extra effort since it's not something I'm personally too bothered with.

v2.5 out. I've replaced all the textures with much higher quality ones, courtesy of Nexus users betterbecause and AnTiWoMaAgNoT, who hopefully don't mind.

Difference to the old versions are pretty dramatic so if you're not sure if you'll like them, make sure that you have a copy of the older version backed up somewhere before updating.
You should note that the skin gloss effect is gone. If you want it back try GlossTech, or if you have the knowhow, up the specular map brightness manually by 10-15%.
Also I realise Nuska's 'Real Skin For Women' wasn't for everyone's liking, so for better or worse it's no longer used.1 -
Has anyone managed to get Calientes Texture Blender and it's UNP counterpart to work with MO? Or have an easy work-around with it?

i cannot open the ESP in Creation kit it keeps saying "file: C:\_skyrim\code\TESV\TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedstring.cpp line:2871 LOCALIATION: Error opening or reading string file." then a warning MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Zero entries or empty block size read from strings file STRINGS/Dawnguard_ENGLISH.STRINGS. Strings will be missing" any way i can fix this?
Bit late to respond so you've probably figured it out by now, but to fix this you need to extract Dawnguard strings from Dawnguard.bsa into your data folder.
Time for a new version. Small update for people who wish to use The Joy of Perspective.
yes, with beautiful faces and above all compatible with CHSBHC - BBP. Please!

So Um, Been using Zazamel drow for a while, got an older version of this one to fix dawnguard, worked for a bit, needed to do a reinstall.
(had to make a new account, forgot email and pw)
Now when I try to dl this, i get a broken archive.
It says it's 48 Kb instead of 48 Mb.
Is it just me or is it the file itself?
It sounds like your download got corrupted while in progress. File hosted here is fine, so you should just try downloading it again.
As unrelated matter a note to any CNHF users. unless my information is out of date the next version of that body is going to support UNP textures, so when it gets released use them instead and report back if you have any problems. I don't have skyrim installed at the moment so I won't be able to test it myself, but I'll fix it if needed.

This specular map isn't compatible with hands and head. The body don't glow.
Ah of course it wouldn't, I forgot I did that.
Try this: CNHF_test_fix.7z
It's a quick and dirty job but see if it's any better.

idiot nub question: how do i add the files with nmm?
I don't use NMM, but I'd assume same way as any other file. Optional textures need to be copied manually.
"femalebody_1_s.dds" in CNHF options it's for CBBE, if you install this textures you can see seams lines.
Are you sure about the seams? That file should be compatible.
I don't have the time to investigate properly but see if this works better and report back:

BodySlide and Outfit Studio - out now!
in Skyrim Adult Mods
Posted
I've been dabbling with this for couple of nights now, and although I got nothing useable out of it yet, I still think this is the most amazing thing for Skyrim since ModOrganizer.
I don't really know what body mod I want to use anymore, but today I've been trying to convert Princess of the Woods and Imperial Investigator to cbbe. However I'm struggling a bit because the trousers end up being really lumpy after I'm done with "fixing" the clipping part. Smoothing brush doesn't really help.
Anyone have any tips on how to avoid that? I have a feeling that either I'm being dense, or that I'm too clumsy to get anything done.
