  1. HGEC has most of the stuff, Then comes RM? The recent specials since 2012-2013 have been ZKEC centric more or less (us few still active easy mode-modders)

Saaay.. My mashups are shaped for ZKEC.

i'm not fan of DMRA.. Mostly because that body variant causes me to say wtf unless it comes with outfit which is "done right" (if balloon boobs exists, hide them behind tight top, freely floating ones need to be shot down :P )

  2. I have Wacom Intuos 4M. MIGHT be expensive but its actually pretty good investment. Got the job done and was way better than Wacom something 3 which i got back in 2003??
Was bundled with Photoshop 7.0 but had little to no pressure levels lol. When i got 4M i was like "this is almost like drawing to paper".

I'm pretty sure there are newer versions nowday since i got mine back in 2010? IF however you are rich, get Cintiq 13HD or bigger. (drawing monitor)

  3. Get medium if you are getting one. You should, to my experience focus on pressure levels.

Small ones usually have like 512 pressure while mediums have 2048.. tl;dr: better control = how much you press the pen -> stronger lines.

  4. in nifskope, go to palette icon in skin and in block details change gloss to 1000. And yes normal map is _n

From what i remember before my dds tool stopped opening large _n files. the alpha map was detailed. Not exaclty like  <-- that but has "glow details".

My blue character has all the details in _n textures and base texture is basically just a color.

Also i dont remember how detailed moonshadow textures are but they could be more oily than synx textures.

  5. If that 2 year old reply is about how people make their characters:

custom textures (even a little gimp/photoshop edit can take you far), correct meshes thats 50% about it. There are crapton of resources but in the end all depends on "you". How you want your game to look.

Also playing with head sliders is another "skill". The most important sliders are nose, jaw, skin and forehead/eye related things.

Vanilla, Ren and Head06 variants have the biggest changes how you move them. Moira? head and FF and some anime heads have little to no change when you use sliders.

  6. [ NZXT Tempest 410 Case 2- front intake fans, 1 out-blowing rear fan, 1 upwards blowing top fan ]

Intel i5 4670K (5% less poweful than the other i7 and 50% cheaper)

    GTX 960Ti? 4GB 1350mhz

    Asus Z97?

Kingston HyperX blue (7-8 years old now? lol) 4+4GB

    Corsair 800W PSU

WDC 120GB (5400rpm laptop hdd for windows 7.. My old SSD didn't work with this chipset)

    WDC 500GB 7200rpm HDD

    WDC 1TB 7200rpm HDD

    WDC D50 500GB USB HDD

    Control schemes:

    Logitech K120 Keyboard

    Razer Naga Hex mouse

    Logitech Dual Action gamepad

Logitech F710 bluetooth gamepad (not really used due to mysterious lag -.-)

I tend to use pads for Dark Souls and in games where they are good for. The other 90% goes with WASD+mouse.

Monitor is some Dell 1080p from 2008
