    Changing someone's account name in IPB and have it update on the webportal takes 30 fucking seconds.

    Instead they tell him he has to close his current account and make a new one.

     

    After the previous issues with hacking and what not only 2 people have access to that. Considering the number of requests it seems prudent to do it the way they do, otherwise the sheer amount of upkeep is stupid.

    Since the author of Followers of Gol apparently had a hissy fit and decided to stop hosting his mod, are there any other good NPC overhauls out there?  Ideally one with minimal extra requirements (I already have Apachii hairs and KS hairdoos) and either it's own skin or compatibility with other skins.

     

    Dont ya hate it when that happens. Bijin is my favorite, currently using it. Good and Best are more so a matter of taste

    Here are a few others, some are singles. Ria0417's was the one I used for a long time untill Bijin came around, while I like Rxkx22 artistic style far better I still consider Ria's work good. Ria had a more expansive overhaul up at one point, but you would have to hunt a bit to get some of that. (Links are on this site somewhere)

    I don't like MBWS as the morphs the author uses tends to lead to gaps with circlets, sometimes quite large ones.

     

    Also, Most of Falmerbanes work is littered with out of order subrecords because he uses the npc editor tool that was based on tessnip.

    anyone know what armor that is?

    i'm pretty sure it's for the x117 body/ the one from children of the sky, but correct me if i'm wrong.

    i tried all the different armor packs there are, but can't find it anywhere.

    the picture was originally uploaded on loverslab by "Remy" but he/she was last active sometime dec 2013, so can't really pm him/her

    also, were any special face / body texture mods used? or is it the original one?

    Are there any Elven Race Overhauls in the vein of Ethereal Elven Overhaul? It seems that mod is kinda lost to history in terms of being updated and it has some compatibility issues. It's beautiful but I'm just curious if there's a newer mod out there like it that may not have so many issues with compatibility.

     

    What would there be to update? Its not like the vanilla races have changed all that much. For most of the mods that matter you can find a patch for them here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46067/?and even then its not "incompatible" as far as causing a problem, just with any elves added by the mods not being as "pretty". While that can be considered immersion breaking, its douchebaggery to expect every author, or even another author, to keep one mod updated to work correctly with all others. That sort of minor patching really falls to you, the user.

     

     

    Excuse me but I wasn't being impolite at all. Referring to my innocent question as "douchebaggery" says much more about you than it does me. I have issues with EEO, so I was merely curious if there was something out there I could replace it with. I wasn't insulting it at all and I think it's beautiful but please refrain from your pettiness. Thank you for the link but please, do not insult me over an innocent question.

     

     

    You need to reread what I wrote. I didn't insult you. I said that you are worthy of being insulted IF you thought it was reasonable for one person to maintain something specific for all mods going forward as that sort of compatibility is really on the end user.

    Naw just Apollo's. I was banned for stating that Ultimate Dragons looked better than DCO, and when challenged his goon army descended until he was summoned himself. I just want to test the so called "final" version to see how much is actually fixed. judging by his comment section, most of it seems to be, but I have the feeling its being especially curated. CWO still seems to have issues, which is why it was quickly patched again, but in general Reddit has been overwhelmed by PerMa spam so tough to get a decent read.

    Hello everyone.

    I am searching for something rather specific, for I would like to play some kind of archaeologist / technomancer -character.

    So, what I am asking, are there any mods that add some kind of light armour / clothing in dwemer design (if possible, something that isn't too clunky) ?

    And I am aware of Ellys Engineer Outfit on Modtype ( http://modtype.doorblog.jp/archives/32712415.html ) , but I'm afraid this one is a bit too lorebreaking... and much too Loli... for my taste.

    I would appreciate every answer and thank you in advance.

    thank you for your effort. i already know most of them though

    IMO they all are beautiful not cute (except wezaleff and andromeda lol ) :P

    what i want is maybe something more like mosakaeru's Farith Granius, haijin's mina harker or xuniana's Horora 'cute'

    and i wanted a pure mage not a spellsword who can equip armors ;)

     

    Every npc that is setup correctly will equip whatever you give them. I am not aware of a way to stop that sort of function outside of specifically scripting it, which is incredibly few and far between.

    Just wondering if anyone has any and/or *all* of Mystery Modder's mods or know where I can find them. I guess he got banned from the nexus in the last week and I deleted my backups.

     

    He wasn't banned. He asked to have his account closed because he wanted to change his username. I would assume that he pulled all of his work to transfer it to his new account when he gets it up and running.

    That does look like it. I saw that and missed the author completely. Just saw the tagline of "makes it look like an mmo" and immediately gagged. I like mmos, but I play Skyrim in large part because its not one.

    Hey, I just found a mod on Dragonporn which looks really good, but it isn't on nexus anymore.

    Does somebody still have this mod or know where I can find it?

    Would be really appreciated.

     

    They really aren't very good. The textures are mediocre to terrible. Number of similar weapons on the nexus right now. for all of the types shown.

    Have it. Unfortunately they kinda are..

     

    Barbarian armor = armor? Upper chest is eniterly just a bra, second version is the same thing but with some pauldrons

    Mercenary Armor = Shoulders and cleavage entirely exposed

    The armors that do fit on males (like chainmail viking armor) have been adapted to females, but use an entirely different mesh...a dress...with a bit of chainmail texture :/

    Whole bunch of others...all have some serious design flaws that would render them laughable as actual armor...boobplate not withstanding.

     

    I mean something that protects the body...properly, ie. every inch.  I've made mashups like that using vanilla male armors resized to female proportions so that I can actually look like I'm wearing something suitable...but my attempts are amateur compared to some of the talented modders out there...I'm just hoping I overlooked something that someone could point me to to make my character look like a proper warrior than some helpless teenager prancing around in panties and a tanktop in the middle of a blizzard -.-

     

     

     

    I can't find it now but fairly recently (like last 6 months or so) someone retouched all of the vanilla armors to be more protective. They may have yanked the file cause they were catching flak for it since it was taking even the minimal boobplate that you get in vanilla and making it more utilitarian. It wasn't just flipping males for females either, it was actual reworks. I found 2 older attempts, but couldn't find it by keyword.
