Get Vagina working with collisions! (New update, see details at top!)
27X replied to HeroedeLeyenda's topic in Skyrim Adult Mods
That's normal for belly collision, it why most don't use it. -
He ignored it for a year until Gemma gave him an ultimatum he couldn't mumble out of.

Anyone else noticed framerate affect from HDT SMP
27X replied to Monsto Brukes's topic in HDT Physics Extension
Yeah you definitely don't want per vertex deformation, especially with collision, it will destroy your framerates And no, it's not required, just a suggestion. While SMP is much more smooth and natural looking than PE and handles collision MUCH ->visuals<- better, in the form Hydro has it now, it's simply not worth the pains in the ass to get working, especially in regard to hair and multisource collision (which is one of the main reasons to have rigid body physics in the first place) It simply isn't mature enough, and unlike PE, very few people are willing to adopt it in due to basically having to sacrifice a great deal of other immersion factors to get it run nicely with itself. PE can look almost as good with some tweaking and work, and it doesn't explode most set ups, provided they aren't running on a toaster. setting those to false does. -
Just overwrite the nifs, and I think the textures also, as the originals are super compressed and also for anatomical correctness.

The capitalization of SUPER LORE FRIENDLY was saracasm. Dimon-based bodies, particularly 7B, are pretty much fetish outfit only. There is no attempt to evangelize/convince for one body or the other. I use BOTH thanks to virtualized mesh folders, and the fact I'm not using ultra skimpy anything for the base NPCs except Forsworn means there are no UV mismatches to worry about. What I've posted is simply facts as they are currently in alignment, and since I don't care about any fetishes, I don't have to worry about fetish bias paraded as absolutes (waves to yatol). Bullshit free work order is: Utilities. Get the utilities first, make sure the files are set up correctly and the output paths are where you can find shit, make MO/NMM adjustments as needed (if you're using NMM, you're a masochist) Prioritize your wants: Is this for your PC Special Snowflake OMG gets all the pussy/dick totally just like real life only? Is this a total conversion of the vanilla body scheme for all races Is this simply visual or it also in line with gameplay changes (that covers more than just sex, UNPC/DG for example actually makes some of the vanilla/modded anims look better) etc etc etc after you know why you're modding, customize the utilities, as chajapa suggested After that: Body mesh Skin Outfit accessories/weapons make sure you back everything up after every step until you have a set up you can use going forward.

Anyone else noticed framerate affect from HDT SMP
27X replied to Monsto Brukes's topic in HDT Physics Extension
ENB's mem features are these: ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=true DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true ReservedMemorySizeMb=128 VideoMemorySizeMb=4096 EnableCompression=false AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false a pretty comprehensive writeup is here: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB as for removing Hydros manager: I had a CTD with it in place, but you said earlier you don't have SKSE's memory patch? If so, that's why you're crashing then, the instance you're trying to load exceed Skyrim's limit. Removing the hdt mem dll is removing the manager, also changing the ini to remove the dll reference. You're the only person I've ever seen whom had worse performance with SMP over PE, but since PE doesn't explode everything else and doesn't require new built meshes for body interactions outside of boobies, I haven't bothered with SMP since. If you have to change your entire skyrim memory handling setup just to get SMP to work and it doesn't work with anything else, not exactly a keeper. -
Anyone else noticed framerate affect from HDT SMP
27X replied to Monsto Brukes's topic in HDT Physics Extension
I was the guy stating as nauseum, not anyone else, most of the other people using SMP aren't using an ENB at all judging by most of the shots (at least on this forum) These are the ENB's known to have issues: Any ENB using matso's color correction or Prod80's lighting code, such as but not limited to Any and all versions of K K/Matso derivatives such as: Rampage Snapdragon Unko Anko Bleak/Un ( I have not personally tested bleak) Tranquility HRK NLA and all 23054923549253 NLA variations, including Dahaka and Aeon RealVision (real vision is affected the least out of the ones I have tested) Milipon Diamond Suri Tundra All of these either feature stuttering or broken color correction or lag, or some combination thereof. This affects nVidia cards to greater degree than AMD. SMP also has issues with ENBoost's memory swapping, which can lead to giant hitches and straight up crashing. (SMP actively overwrites enb/allocated adressed memory in ram) I would install the OCL runtimes regardless, but since it's not crashing and it works, you obviously don't need them, but SMP is supposed to be lighter on your framerate, so you might install them anyway. -
Anyone else noticed framerate affect from HDT SMP
27X replied to Monsto Brukes's topic in HDT Physics Extension
As stated ad nauseum ENB and SMP do not get along, SMP has less resolving to do than PE does. What are your framerates without an ENB and then with. Also what version of OpenCl are you using, 1.2 or 2.0, and what card do you have. All of that matters. Also make sure you're not using hydro's memory patch, es no bueno if you're using SKSE 172+ -
Used a mem checker, and this isn't really the case. The solvers are better documented, but that's not even hydro's doing. I'm talking about her specific implementation. Are you certain the constraints are the same, cause I'm not even getting the same KIND of results with "identical" xmls between the two (and yes I'm accounting for more linear parameters) A collision that causes instant perpetual jitter in PE along the y axis, causes probably a third of same motions in SMP with fairly rapid rest. (+/- about second and half even with a completely cross-intersecting collision) Granted the shapes have to be manually tweaked in PE to get the same types of interaction, but I don't think I'm that far off. (Admittedly, because of the myriad injection issues, I haven't put in as much research into SMP as I could have)

[Suggestions] A mod to replace SkyRe? (I have Perkus Maximus)
27X replied to Xuphra's topic in Skyrim General Discussion
Requiem is nothing like SkyRe. The Skyre modules that control levlists, and inhabitants work just fine with PerMa, I would suggest reading the entire perma faq before patching anything. -
You're asking for an objective consensus on Loverslab? rofl. No such animal. You're gonna shit on someone's fetish and then you shall receive the sternly worded anguish. Any body made for specifically for PE is compatible. HOWEVER. SMPs constraints are based directly on the mesh, so depending on what you vaguely mean by "changes" (i'm assuming ranges or velocities?), the type of changes in PE and SMP aren't even kind apple to apple in regards to deformation and motion. Hydro has provided exactly jack shit for documentation, and half the supplied files are not even needed or actively interfere with with other loading processes. Also, any ENB with color correction or active dynamic memory reallocation aren't even kind of compatible with SMP, so make you aren't running anything other than ENBoost... (even then you're going to get re-allocation issues between the two), that might be why you can't effect changes per cell. - no ranges are documented. That said, you're probably changing the wrong file, but SMP isn't loaded into memory the same way as PE was, and a cell change may not help.

There's nothing to ask; as long as you have correct overhead and generally robust ini processor settings for handling scripted things to begin with, it works exactly as it's supposed to, and has been stable for quite some time. If you're running it on a toaster that struggles to keep up with your phone, you're going to have issues. All the basics apply: clean install, clean save, rtfm rtfm and rtfm.

# of basic outfits and rips from other games: CBBE This is essentially where CBBE has an undisputed crown, owing to coming out of the gate first, and being adopted pretty much anywhere Skyrim is. # of fetish/modular armors: UNP/UUNP The custom stuff crowd tends to sway towards UNP's better topology, however, so all your SUPER LORE FRIENDLY armor tends to show up on UNP/7B first, especially as of the last two years. # of asian armors and chinese [cough] borrowed [/cough] outfits: CBBE Asian peoples loves either giant gazonga das zeppelin titties or women shaped/aged like little boys, so this one's a no brainer. # of WTF angles found during animation and posing: CBBE CBBE was founded during a time when there was no such thing as raising your arms above your head or using your legs for anything other than walking at a casual gate and there was no such animal as knees that bent more than 30 degrees and only in one direction, both ways, uphill, in a snowstorm, and we liked it that way. Consequently as animation mods and combat mods and OMG WHY IS HE ANGRY HUGGING THAT SPRIGGAN mods became prevalent, CBBE failed to keep up as well as UNP did, especially as authors branched UNP out to fit specific mods and themes. Weighting: UNPC/DG When it comes to mesh smoothness under fire and duress, neither UUNP nor CBBE hold up as well as these two. Weight painting is an art form made of blood, sweat, and ass, and neither author had it as much of a concern back when all you had to worry about was walking around looking pretty and lying on the ground dead. UUNP's weighting generally takes the edge here, especially knees and shoulders, but then again CBBE doesn't have a hip designed to cut off dremora heads whenever the pelvis is angled forward, so pick your poison here. UV: UNPC/UNPBO Neither BS UV is great. They're both awful. Awful in different areas and for different reasons, but both of them have not aged well and why BTN decided to use 7B is mystifying cause awful. Deformation options: Even. Thanks to btn and cell and others, this one is simply based on what you like. UUNP has a distinct edge owing to better topology. Topology/Curvature: UNPSH Ironic that the beast quads mods also really does have the best quads, but that's sometimes how it goes. Amongst the two BS bodies, UUNP holds the crown, no contest. The round things are roundier, and the straight things are smoother. You're far less likely to tell when you slap skins over it, but it's definitely a win here for UUNP. # of Maps: UUNP Skins support goes to any flavor of UNP, hands down. Whilst most of the most popular and best made skins also have CBBE support, UNP simply has pretty much everything here, and also has more tattoo, tint and accessory options for Kris+a™ to [cough] borrow [/cough]. # of presets: UUNP This used to be CBBE territory, but UUNP has pretty much literally exploded with user-defined content. # of vaguely accurate dongle ports: CBBE 2:1, nuff said.

HDT for just Player Character and (Custom) Followers/Spouses?
27X replied to twitterbutter's topic in HDT Physics Extension
Give the PC a custom body through a race mod or PCEA. Give the other NPCs different bodies without HDT support or nistring support. -
You realize I'm talking about the visual quality and not whether it can be nuked or not, right? right.

The kind he has is super virulent and he has a projected expectancy based on his age and health of about 4-6 years, problem being that he waited with symptoms for over a year and only got checked in the first place because his wife threatened to leave him. If he had taken her advice immediately, it might not have metastasized.
-
I wouldn't place too much traction in FO4 for the kind of mods you make, unless you plan on sticking exclusively to somewhere like here. Beth has it very plain they will be closely monitoring content, and all console mods will have to be vetted through their site.

He's better off than most in that he has amazing insurance and is very young for this type of cancer, which automatically triples his expectancy. The truth, however, is that it's entirely malignant and fully metastasized, there will be no cure short of the Nanomachine Project being greenlit for human trials while Bain is still alive. He is on a clock, and there is no getting off. I have lost two very very dear people to me to liver cancer, and the chemo is the worst in the spectrum besides lung chemo. It is absolutely excruciatingly brutal, and it feels as if your arteries are literally on fire, and getting out of bed is the same as running a 15 mile marathon as far as your body is concerned. In most instances of this type of malignancy, the chemo is actually what kills you. He has a very tough fight ahead of him.

It's essentially the Book of Secrets for terrain. If you don't use it, you probably won't miss it. Once you do use it, it will be very very hard to go back to vanilla or equivalent.

FNIS 6.0, the next step: Dynamic Animation Replacers [modder feedback requested]

Currently it'll be "default" h2h anims, rather than a weapon, though I haven't ruled an equip out completely. -
Skyrim crashes upon reaching any where near Whiterun
27X replied to Utaru's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
Your load order is a catastrophe and you have an assload of script crushing mods, a couple of which are in direct conflict. Duel will eventually bloat your saves into an unmanageable state, and both UFO and DoD should no longer be used. -

Why the hell would you link other people to a mail-bomb site that saves and sells user information.
