Banned because I dunno.

I have a sword like that, but I can't for the life of me remember the mod with which it came. But it's literally like that and I think it's called holy knight sword.

.....what? "There was never a civil war to begin with so stop labeling it as such. There is no fight." Either all of the insults and bickering were a product of my imagination and I been unknowingly in one serious bad trip for the past few days or there was in fact a lot of fighting. "If you honestly thought that the entire modding community, spanning past LoverLab, spanning past Nexus, spanning past Skyrim and Fallout, etc., all revolved around the Steam Workshop, then you have a very, very limited view of the modding community. Which is why in the past three days, neither Loverslab or Nexus have given the whole matter that much thought. In case you haven't noticed yet, the whole thing affected everyone, because as you yourself said, the modding community is interconnected. Which means, what happens in one place has an impact in whichever places are one way or the other connected. The modding community is vast, diverse, and tightly knit. Which is precisely what caused the whole problem in the first place. People were afraid that this was going to create a divide between modders and stagnate many mods' development. Why? Again, because as we established before, this whole community is an interconnected web. Modding is a community where someone brings an idea to the table and someone else uses this idea or foundation to build their own ideas. Take for example loverslab itself: FNIS > Sexlab > Sexlab Romance Without FNIS there is no Sexlab. Without Sexlab there is no Sexlab Romance. People seemed to be afraid that with Steam's system, modders would gate mods that act as foundations to others, behind wall. They feared that this in turn would divide the community and ironically enough, in their haste to stop this, they burned a bunch of bridges. If you thought Valve and Bethesda intentionally created this rift between those who wanted to take agency in their life to those who wanted to tow a party line, then you have projected your intentions onto those you don't know I am not one to believe in conspiracy theories. I had at no point implied any of that. But you created this divide with your own narrative, own up to it. What are you even talking about? You have taken my comment way out of context. I have created no narrative, nor have I even taken part of the damned thing. The only placed in which I haven commented about the matter is here, because frankly I didn't want to join the cesspool of hate that has overtaken the nexus and workshop in the past few days. I watched over the whole business and stood by silently for the most part. I don't believe in flaming people or harassing them and frankly I feel sorry for guys like Chesko.

If Bethesda hadn't done this, there wouldn't have been a civil war in the first place. That's what I meant by saying they broke the community.
-
The weird thing is, when you think about it. If SkyUI had gone on sale, Bethesda would had literally profited from having done a crappy menu system. SkyUI was born out of the fact that the game's menu system was poorly implemented.
-
Just like with their games, Bethesda managed to break the modding community. As always, it's up to the community to fix and clean up Bethesda's problems.
-
We all now Valve is Pegasus and Bethesda is Seto Kaiba. This was season 1, where Pegasus kidnapped our mods and forced us to duel to get them back. Stay tuned for season 2.
-
We may have won, but it came at the cost of burning bridges with some of the best modders out there. The victory came with a price and the modding scene is definitely gonna take a while to recover from this hit.
-
But we could have bought SkyUI 5 for just $9.99!
-
I played 900 hours of Skyrim gameplay without their crafting menus. Gonna need a lot more than that.
-
What does Sky UI 5.0 offers that should convince me to pay for it? I honestly only upgraded Sky UI whenever a new mod told me to.
-
Man it really fucking sucks to be a gamer, lately.
-
Honestly, this isn't even fair to the modders. They are the ones spending hundreds of hours designing something and they only get a 25% of the cut.
-
Apparently you need to at least make $400, before you can actually receive payment.
-
This just doesn't make sense to me. Modding isn't like DLC. With DLC, you make the purchase and you expect it to work from the get go. But with modding there are a lot of steps that you need to take care of (load order, fnis, etc, etc.). A lot of times when you install a mod, you are not even sure if it will work. So how then can they make a system where you pay for things that you are not even sure that they are gonna work with what you have? I can see it going in one of two ways: 1) The paid workshop will consist mainly of cosmetic things like swords and armors, and the meaty mods will not be added. 2) Script intensive, mods with requirements will be included, which will in turn create a massive chaos when people run into trouble while trying to play with these mods.
-
Outside of Wet and Cold, what other mods are being moved behind the paywall?
-
Remember when mod users acted entitled despite the fact that they didn't even paid for the mods? I wonder how these users will react if they buy a mod and for some reason it doesn't work as intended.
-
This is what upsets me. Honestly, if my money went fully to supporting the modder, I wouldn't really mind. I mean I have mods that are way better than the dlc Bethesda gave us. But sadly, that's not the case. This is Valve and Bethesda realizing that modding has the potential of giving them dlc like revenue, without them having to even put the effort to it.

As if the Steam Workshop wasn't crappy enough. Can't wait for the "pre-purchase a mod that I'm conceptualizing" option.

I asked for this.

SD+ (Sanguine Debauchery enhanced) (2015-12-05)

Is there a way to reset the submissive/defiant thing. I think that's the issue I'm having that doens't trigger much of the content. Every time my character gets enslaved she can walk freely and her arms aren't tied behind her back even though she has the cuffs. It says that my character is mostly submissive with a -7. So I suppose that's why? -
Just tried it out and I love it! Absolutely fantastic! This has been one of the things I been wanting for a long time. Thanks a lot for the work. In fact I think that with this I can finally get to work on a mod of my own. Once again, thank you very much for this.

Is this like SD+ and triggered by all enemy factions or only by bandits. I need to know because in the former I would have to disable SD from death alternative and in the latter I would just have to raise the chances of simple slavery over sd.

SD+ (Sanguine Debauchery enhanced) (2015-12-05)

I tested it with just about every group. Tested it with bandits, necromancers, Ebony Warrior, etc. The issue keeps popping up. Weird thing is, when I originally updated to the latest version, this wasn't happening. She has the arm and leg cuffs and the collar. But the thing is, the animations don't seem to play. Like for example her arms won't stay bound. And yes, I did update FNIS. I thought that might be the issues but alas it doesn't seem to be the case. I was going to upload a pic but apparently LL doesn't allow you to upload bmps? -

I'm having the same issue. The character does get the cuffs and necklace but it doesn't have any effects other than make you walk slow. She doesn't kneel and if you click on struggle with the cuffs she gets stuck in that struggling animation. Dunno what's the problem to be honest.
