The server ran out of hard drive space last night and Ashal got that fixed. However, this may have had a ripple effect that wasn't felt until today. Firefox seems to not be working at all. Chrome and IE work fine. If Chrome or IE isn't working for you, just delete your cookies and cached files for your browser, fire it back up and login and you should work.
As swmas and nanashi50 say deleting cookies in Firefox worked for me as well.
Deleting temporary files and cookies did not work for my Firefox.
Maybe try to clear all your browser history and not just cookies? i didn't need to do that.. but maybe that'll help?

The [solicitation] one is definitely Cursed Loot, try reinstalling or making sure solicitation is enabled in the MCM.
Yep, and that mod actually mentions the "solicitation" bit in the mod description. i was hoping my comment would get Anosaki to read about the mods he/she has installed, as i knew the solution to the "solicitation" dialogue could actually be found by reading that mod's documentation.
0 -
No, I think it's SD+. The status of the mod in the MCM says it needs to be re-installed, but no matter how many times I do that it says the same thing,
SD+ does not add a dialogue thingie that says "[solicitation]" before it.
But this is sort of a good lesson in reading about the mods you're installing before you install them. Like.. actually read all the documentation and info about them, because the mod that adds that dialogue actually probably tells you so somewhere in the documentation about it.

I run FNIS inside MO.
I install FNIS as a mod like any other mod.
In left pane, I highlight FNIS, right-click, Open in Explorer.
In the explorer window you should now see all the files for FNIS.
Navigate to the tools and GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and right-click it and set compatibility to run as administrator.
close that explorer window
In the RIGHT pane of MO, click on the Data tab.
scroll down and navigate to Tools folder, expand it, see GenerateFNIS_for_Users folder, expand it. See the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, highlight it, right-click it and select Add as Executable.
#1 problem I have ever had is that I installed a new version of FNIS and forgot to DISABLE (uncheck) the old version in the left pane. That causes some wonky errors when you try to run FNIS for users.

FNIS runs just fine in MO and does not require repacking or anything.
If you have MO, the ONLY thing I've had to put directly into my ACTUAL Skyrim data directory is the dll files and stuff for SKSE. Not the scripts. I have the SKSE scripts as a mod in MO just fine.
i use the STEP method to install FNIS through Mod Organizer.. Basically in the end i think it turns out the same as what you're doing.. yet.. somehow seems like easier steps to follow.

Do you use a male body make over mod *besides* SOS (like Better Males)?
Or do you use a custom race (like Lunari)?
Some custom races, or other body mods come with a "built in" penis on the body.. so when you add SOS you get the SOS penis and the penis "built into" the body.
You can remove the extra penis sometimes in NifSkope, but their also might be a patch for your body already made depending on if this might be your issue or not.

Uh Silly question here too. I am trying to install defeat through NMM but nothing is happening. I click on it twice. Nothing. I click install. Nothing.
So you have all the Required mods? Someone a few posts above had issues getting Defeat to work, but then said they realised it was because they were missing UI Extensions mod .. so maybe you need that as well?

need a lil help here. i've modded badly in th past and have restarted twice, but haven't done a clean reinstall. i now have armor that i can craft, but there is no preview image or a default clothing image is used. the majority of missing images have fx117 in th name, but i don't remember what mods i was using when i installed th armor and it worked properly.
th majority of mods used were from a huge second-hand collection that i've long since deleted, but all armor installed worked at one time
other than (groan...) starting all over again with a totally clean reinstall, what can i do or what should i alter to either get this working again or deleting the corrupted files?
any serious feedback is welcome
This actually probably isn't a problem on your end.
Some people who make custom armour do not *bother* to make the <armorName>_go.nif file that WraithSlayer mentions.
So it's not that you installed the armour mod wrong or you did anything wrong. The modder didn't supply one or simply just used a vanilla piece of random clothing to represent that.
Yes it can be annoying when a modder does this because it can be hard to remember what the armour looks like if you've installed many custom armours. i ended up tabbing out of the game and googling to remember if i even want to craft this "preview-less" piece of armour >.<
So anyways... it is likely nothing you've done wrong. Nothing. No reason to clean install. Because the files you are "missing" were likely /never created/ by the modder who did the armour.

well i have just spent probably 9 or 10 hours setting it up and then trying to work out why its totally screwed my skyrim to the point i cant even load a save.
So as much as this is the 'super duper' Organiser for Modded skyrim, in my opinion it totally sucks and unless you get it set up 100% flawlessly your in a world of hurt.
So i am gonna sart everything from complete scratch, delete everything and anything related to skyrim and then use NMM. At least with Nexus it made sense and i knew what was where and why it was there.
This is just a complete screw up and i havent got another 10 hours of my life to watse trying to even work out why it did this.
As Lafayette in True Blood says "Don't blame the Ferrari just because your ass can't drive."
Sorry Mod Organizer is too complicated for you, but there is nothing "it" did wrong. You did something wrong as the user because you didn't understand how to use it. That's not Mod Organizer's fault, nor the creator of Mod Organizer's fault. Yes it has a steeper learning curve than Nexus Mod Manager, although i was able to understand Mod Organizer in less than 15 minutes of playing with it, but my mind might just work differently than yours. How MO worked made complete sense to me.. right away.
i'd love to help you, but i'm not the best teacher and not very patient. If NMM was easier for you and your frustrated with MO, ya, for your own sanity it could be best to go back to what is easier.
i just found it kind of "funny" that you seem to think something is wrong with MO simply because you can't figure it out. MO didn't work because you did something incorrectly. It's probably easier to be mad at the program than to be mad at yourself for not having the patience or whatever to figure the program out.
On a more sensitive note, having to fully start over from scratch with Skyrim sucks. BUT if you installed MO correctly you should *not* have to do that *ever*. There should be zero reason to have to "delete everything having to do with Skyrim", because *Nothing* that has to do with MO *ever* touches your real Skyrim files. Deleting the entire Mod Organizer directly will delete *everything* MO did/does/installs. It touches nothing else. If things are wrong with your actual real Skyrim directory then you had a problem already that has nothing to do with MO.
Still good luck, i hope you are able to get a stable game running and get a chance to relax and play.

I wonder if the monsters in this mod are compatible with Defeat?
Not sure, but i think there are some similar creatures in Immersive Creatures mod, and Bad Dog (here on LL) took the time to go through the labourious process of making new models and adding "naughty bits" to the creatures in that mode. Now those creatures are compatible with Defeat (and any other SexLab mod that uses Creatures). You can get his mod here.
i know that's not what you're asking for specifically, but Bad Dog's mod is really great

I was just teasing. You're right of course, to each their own.
Oops sorry! Sometimes i miss understand teasing.
thank you for explaining.
Sorry i responded maybe too seriously.0 -
Hmm, OK, I just added exceptions in Windows Firewall for both FNIS and MO, and designated the Mod Organizer folder in the Skyrim folder, which contains both the MO .exe and the FNIS .exe as an exception in AVG, but got the same error. :/(It looks like Windows Firewall makes you specify an .exe rather than a folder.)
HMM then i'm out of ideas.
Sorry. Hopefully someone else can come along with a new idea.Short of you briefly disabling Windows Firewall and then trying things out (you can physically disconnect your computer from the internet before doing this so you don't leave your computer "exposed", if you will, while the firewall is disconnected). But ya, basically out of ideas.
i hope you managed to get it sorted somehow though.

Hmm, to be honest if the OP wasn't hurt before they saw your shots they will be now
:"Hey guy don't listen to the nasty people, your gigantic headed 45 year old kids are fiiiine. I mean, look at how awful mine are!"
i actually don't think the OPs kids look 40 >.<
Are their heads big? Ya, but some people like that. i like "wide nose bridges", i mean everyone has some quirk they like. i also probably tend to do heads slightly large.
i only posted mine because i've had people have critiqued mine characters before, saying i'd done heaps wrong. i wanted the OP to know not to worry about pleasing anyone else. EMm.. although i guess maybe they already know that! i just didn't want their feelings hurt somehow. But ya.. the OP could maybe be tougher than me anyways so maybe doesn't care.

But also, those kids look great, what mods are you using?i use a combination of RCOTS and SkyKids, with Girl of Innocence skin, and KS and SG hairs, then the freckles from Freckle Mania. Then it's just playing around with RaceMenu's sliders to get faces i mostly like, and then it's over to the Sculpt tab of RaceMenu to smooth things out and do a few tweaks that aren't possible with the sliders alone.
i'm actually surprised by the positive response to my characters from the lot of you. i really appreciate it!

Thanks for your help! So, I reviewed the STEP guide, and yes, I did follow exactly the steps in the STEP guide for MO.
I am now looking at my firewall, Windows Firewall. Do you know which setting I would adjust or where I would make the exception to allow MO to run FNIS? When I look at the interface (see attached) to me it looks like it's all about internet stuff, but not about stuff on my hard drive.
EDIT: To be clear the only security software I'm using is AVG Free, and the stuff that ships with Windows, i.e. Windows Firewall.
i don't use Windows Firewall so i can't help with that.
But.. now that you mention you run AVG it could be *that* instead.
But i googled "Windows Firewall" and "Exceptions" and came up with this:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/communicate-through-windows-firewall
You might need to add Mod Organizer *and* FNIS to the exception list. Or add the whole "folder" of Mod Organizer (or Skyrim) to the Exception list.. depending on how Window's Firewall handles exceptions. i don't know how, because again i don't use that one.
As for AVG i googled "AVG" and "Exceptions"
And i got that. So you can try *those* steps as well. Although i am not betting it is AVG over Windows Firewall, but it could be both.. or a combination of both. So you might have to make Mod Organizer exceptions, and/or Skyrim exceptions, and/or FNIS exceptions in both AVG and Windows Firewall.
The exception may have to be for the entire *directory/folder structure* where those programs are, not just the ".exe" of those programs.

I'd like to say that I'm enjoying Apropos. I like the Dialogue and the Wear and tear tracking and effects. But a couple questions:
I have slave tats installed and Apropos is recognizing it. I can even use slave tats directly and place the tears and such on my khajiit. But the automatic stuff from Apropos isn't working. Are these supposed to happen only at advanced stages of wear and tear? I've tested with several aggressive rapes against her, even gotten gang-banged by guys taking multiple turns in the same encounter. Apropos hasn't applied any textures. Anyone else getting this?
Also, is there a way (or maybe something in the works) to increase the font size of the texts Apropos posts?
If you read the "Spoiler" about Wear & Tear right in the first post you'll have your answer.
WEAR AND TEAR ABUSE TEXTURES (OPTIONAL FEATURE) EXPERIMENTAL!- Only works if you have Slavetats installed (version 1.05). See: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/619-slavetats/
- Applies a VERY SPECIFIC set of textures!!! These textures are provided in the download area for Apropos, "Apropos_Abuse_Slavetats_Textures.7z".
- The source mod for these textures is here: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/835-skintextures/
- Needs to be enabled in MCM. The MCM options are only enabled if Slavetats is detected in your current game loadorder.
- New "abuse" Wear and Tear statistics are tracked, parallel to the existing ones, for all body parts.
- Three areas are tracked: General abuse (applies to all aggressors), Creatures, and Daedric (currently Seekers, Lurkers, and Dremora races).
- General abuse W&T stats map to "After Effects" textures (see MCM)
- Creature abuse W&T stats map to "Cuts and Scratches" textures (see MCM)
- Daedric abuse W&T stats map to "Daedric Scars" textures (see MCM)
- Also, face textures are applied for "Tears and Sobs" which are mapped to general abuse.
- Please note that this an experimental feature and I am still working with murfk to improve how Apropos uses Slavetats-as-API.
- There may be bugs, and slight perf hit when new decals are being applied (which only happens when W&T states change, e.g. anal wear 7->8)
- Some of the textures are only seen at high levels of abuse:
General abuse for FACE:
- Level 9: Battered face decal
- Level 8: Sobbing 2 decal
- Level 7: Sobbing 1 decal
- Level 6: Tears 3 decal
- Level 5: Tears 2 decal
- Level 4: Tears 1 decal
General abuse for BODY
- Level 9: After Effects 4
- Level 7-8: After Effects 3
- Level 6: After Effects 2
- Level 5: After Effects 1
Creature abuse for BODY:
- Level 9: Cuts and Scratches 3
- Level 7-8: Cuts and Scratches 2
- Level 5-6: Cuts and Scratches 1
Daedric abuse for BODY:
- Level 9: Scars 3
- Level 7-8: Scars 2
- Level 5-6: Scars 1
^ There i quote it for you.

Hello, in the attachment a small 7zip file, just grab the two files inside and overwrite the ones in SexLab.
sslAnimationDefaults.pex goes in scripts/
sslAnimationDefaults.psc goes in scripts/source/
The .esm does not need to be changes.
If you use Mod Organizer then place these files in the Sex Lab folder of Mod Organizer
If you use loose install or NMM just overwrite the files in the Skyrim/Data/... folders.
All the animations from AP are removed from the registration.
If SexLab is already running, then you have to refresh the animation list in SexLab.
Warning: ONLY FOR SEXLAB 1.59c !!!!!
To overwrite in SexLab 1.59c.7zSomehow this needs more recognition!!!

It's wonderful.

Eeps! Some of you are a bit harsh!
Or maybe i misunderstood the OP. i thought they were happy with their children's looks, but then you all come in insulting the children? Or maybe i am misreading the responses too.
Everyone has different tastes, and that's okay. Altho, again, maybe i misunderstood the OP, maybe they *are* asking for help on changing the look of their child characters. However, i thought they said they were bragging and proud of themself, soooo i thought that meant they felt happy with the children's looks.
Again we all have our own tastes, i run two child characters and have had people think i make weird kids, but i like'em and that's all that matters.
i dunno maybe i am over sensitive. i just worried about the OP having a hurt feeling.

Did you follow the S.T.E.P instructions on how to run FNIS through Mod Organizer?
Also, it is possible that when you upgraded WIndows your UAC permissions maybe are set so that maybe it's blocking FNIS from being able to launch through a secondary program. Also, a firewall can do this too. It is possible Windows Firewall is even blocking this, so maybe check both those things.
To prevent this issue, always have your games that you are planning to mod on a SEPARATE drive than your OS drive.
IF you only have one drive, make sure there's a separate folder on the root of the drive (C:/Steam) where Steam and it's games are installed.
Get this nifty little batch file: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/
It allows you to "take ownership" of a file (or files contained in a folder). Run that on the (C:/Steam) folder. UAC shouldn't bother it at all, then.
That is not actually entirely true. i have my Steam install of Skyrim on a completely different drive than my operating system and still had that problem. Altho i am still running Win7.
i didn't have the UAC problem, i mean (and maybe that is the only issue you were addressing). My issue was the firewall one that i mention second in the post you quote.
My software firewall absolutely was finding "Mod Organizer trying to launch another program" suspicious. And initially killing MO launching and running things like FNIS properly as it wasn't wanting to let FNIS write to MO folder or something. Even though MO and FNIS are both on my non-operating drive. So you cannot prevent such issue merely by installing Steam or your Steam games on a non-OS drive. Not if you're running a software firewall, anyway.
My issue was quite similar to wr1's.. so that's why i suspected some settings might have gotten funny when upgrading to win10.

i still think it would help people help you if you confirmed you actually had FNIS installed correctly as the S.T.E.P guide i posted above says to install FNIS through MO. Don't just "assume" you did it right. Did you really do it the way the guide says?
If you do have it installed correctly and you actually checked the S.T.E.P. guide and went through it step-by-step to be sure that is how you are installing FNIS through Mod Organizer, then it's easier for people to go through and suggest other things that might be causing it to go wrong. Are you running a software firewall? Windows firewall, Norton, ZoneAlarm, Comodo, etc?
Even if your Steam programs are installed outside of "Program Files" a firewall could *still* be preventing Mod Organizer to "start FNIS" or other things properly because a firewall can mistakingly think that behaviour is "suspicious".. So you might have to make an explicit "exception" on your Firewall's "exception/exclusion list" to say to let Mod Organizer and FNIS do what they want together.

I have wasted... an Entire. Damn. Week of my life trying to implement Sanguines Debauchery via MO... I've read all the tutorials ten times over to no avail. All forums I've scoured have failed to help me... I got stuck while installing FNIS, and wound up accidentally backpedaling what little progress I'd made...
*Spits in utter disgust*
I absolutely despise the fact that I have to stoop so damn low to actually ask for help... But can anyone give me, a simple, bullet-point format walkthrough on how to actually get this f**ker off the ground? I've got all the prereqisute mods ready to be implemented, I just need someone to tell me how in short fashion without any crappy technobabble jargon, which is what's been tripping me up this whole time and making me look as technologically inept as my grandma when I'm the exact opposite.
Tch! Still can't believe I was beaten by a piece of software as simplistic as f**king FNIS... It's pathetic and humiliating. Here's hoping Fallout 4 will prove easier to mod when it comes out.
If you don't understand how to install FNIS through Mod Organizer i think the S.T.E.P Guide is pretty good.

except a minor bug i noticed: when mounting a horse, the "about bathing.." dialogue starts with the horse. maybe you forgot some race conditions in the dialogues? i use convenient horses, if that has any effect on that.
Ya, i get that bug too... but i don't use Convenient Horses, so it's definitely not caused by you using that mod.
i've just been ignoring it though, you know tabbing out, but! It would be neat if that dialogue didn't show up on horses ^.^

[WIP] Skykids - Child races & other technical goodies - No more armor patcher! New CotS R2 Race!(6/22/15)
in Downloads - Skyrim Non Adult Mods
Posted
to the best of my knowledge *all* the armour swapper does it make it so an armour is able to be equipped by a child... however it does not modify the mesh or "shrink it to child size" or (in the case of girls) "get rid of the breasts and make it flat chested".
Try and see?
