  1. Ugh and of course while I'm out doing some work' date=' I miss Shinoa's armor lol. Not many decent castlevania mods for any elder scrolls game. Closest I've seen was vampire killer, in a shop that I forget the name of lol. I'd try to finish it myself if it wasn't a blender format..>.< (i use 3ds). I'll take a look at it in blender..and see if i can export it to 3ds.

I think I know where I can get the textures from...good ole xnalara :D

    Edit:

    This is kinda interesting..

    Hell yes!

  2. I tested all the mods you recommended and my game's definitely running much smoother. I'm experiencing some amount of stutter from your ENB but I'm more than willing to bear with it - everything looks gorgeous!

Thank you so' date=' so much for all your help, Riceball!

    [/quote']

I'm so glad that it worked well for you. I'm always trying and finding new performance mods. It's better if you cap your FPS to 30 or 35, this way you will not notice sudden FPS drops/stutter.

i can't seem to find what I'm looking for but maybe someone else will remember what it's called. the file name is...never mind i found it.

recompresses all the dds files' date=' worked wonders for load times and just overall performance. I think after it finished it had knocked almost 2 gigs off of my textures folder.

    [/quote']

It did help me on FPS but I didn't check the loading times yet.

  3. Thank you so much' date=' Riceball! I'm definitely installing all of these mods, they're exactly what I was looking for!

One more question, if you don't mind? I've looked at some ENB mods but I'm not sure my computer can handle them! I think my specs are similar to yours so I was wondering if you could provide some input?

    [/quote']

ENB mods are easy to install and all of them you can tweak for performance. Since I am not really a capable person when it comes to technical stuff, the best thing I do is try it and see if it works.

I'm using this and I edited this to my liking. This is an older version of an ENB in the nexus and mine is no way better than the original since I'm a noob when it comes to these tweaking. The point of this is to see if yours can handle ENB.

    Download test: Edited ENB

Extract to the same location as your TESV.exe. Uninstalling is simply deleting all the ENB files.

  4. My PC Specs:

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT 512MB

    Intel Core 2 duo

    2GB ram

    Onboard sound card

    OS: Windows 7 32bit

My FPS: 32-35FPS about 95% of the time.

    Skyrim Settings

    Resolution: 1280 x 720 (Resolution DOES matter)

    Anti-Aliasing: Off

FXAA: On (Use this to sharpen the game and it's better than AA performance wise)

Anisotropic filtering: Off or x2 (Forced using Nvidia control panel)

    ENB - enbseries.ini

Bloom Setting: 1 (Higher number = Less FPS hit)

    SSAO: Off

    DOF: Off

    Performance Mods:

    Install in order.

    1. TESV Reduced Texture Pack

This will be the first mod you must install.

    2. Skyrim Performance PLUS

Install everything under the Main files.

    3. Better Performance - Snow

If you still have problems with snowy areas then replace the above mod with this one, assuming you didn't use the optional file disable snow.

    - Optimizer Textures

This is a new tool and I tried it. It seems to work just fine at the cost of visual quality for textures depending on the level of compression used. I used Medium compression and gave me around 2~3FPS Outside. [WARNING] Only use this right before installing the mods that beautify the game like body textures, clothing, waters mods or anything that you want to keep the textures in perfect quality.

    4. Colorful Lights - No Shadows - More FPS

This mod does MIRACLES for interiors. I can't believe how this mod solved my extremely low FPS inside houses and changed it to a smooth angel like FPS.

    5. Interior and Dungeon Fog Remover

I cant really say anything bad or really good about this mod because I have not done enough tests if this does help a lot.

    6. Revamped Exterior Fog

    Same opinion with the above.

    7. Skyrim configurator

Easiest way to edit your skyrimpref.ini.

EDIT: Added my ini tweaks and general Skyrim settings using Skyrim configurator

Threaded check boxes: All Checked (uncheck if getting FPS problems)

    Vsynce: Off

    Enable Mouse Acceleration: Off

    Object Fade: 7

    Item Fade: 4

    Actor Fade: 7

    Decals: Medium

Max particles: 500 (lower means more FPS = lowest acceptable is 250)

    - I set the values above with game-play in mind.

skyrimpref.ini tweak for older video cards.

  5. I will try and write a list of all the performance increasing mods I use, I'm pretty experienced when it comes to squeezing performance out of my old PC using mods, although I have little knowledge when it comes to actual technical stuff. I'll come back once I fix the list.

  6. Hello Caliente, please excuse my noobness. I am trying to figure out why the body does not change when I wear your CBBE vanilla clothes pack. I used body slide to adjust the shoulder and arms. When my character is naked, I can see the changes clearly, but when I put on her clothes, the shoulders goes back to its bulky state.

Could you please share a light on this? I am using CBBE BBP and I believe this goes the same for the normal CBBEv3 body.

  7. @prodarkwolf

XX represents the letters/numbers of the esp file on your load order. Easier way to get an item is to type the name in the game for example:

    getting tera armor mods (console)

    =============================

    help tera 4

    =============================

the console will find everything that has tera in its name. It will also show the ID you need to type to get the item.

  8. @abe702, Tkalius and woopypooky. I'm trying my best to tweak her face. Currently I'm looking for new mods to play with like the hair I got from billypnats. thanks for the beautiful hair billypnats! I might release the save in the near future.

    Sk-Saki.jpg

The details on her face are kind of washed a bit by the bright morning light.

In case you want to see her in action, I put this video up and links to performance increasing mods I use. Suggest to view in YouTube instead and using 720p. Excuse the bad graphics, I'm using a low-end core 2 duo 2GB ram 6-7 year old PC.

  9. i believe its heroes.bsa' date=' I downloaded an older version which did not have its contents packed into a bsa

    [/quote']

What I mean about that is I wanted to use the hair without using the herose.esp. I should probably try unpacking it, maybe it will work without any need for activations.

I wanted to keep it as a replacer.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the texture.
