Hm, let's see and have some brain-storming? Iirc sky-mds wanted the Mansion itself to be more consensual, and with Thaena etc it indeed would be inappropiate to go dark. But the idea with the other establishment is maybe a good way....and might give future quests of the mod some kind of "red line" to follow/give background. For example: Once you have "collected" all animals for the Mansion things seem to run smoothly, but then there would be a stranger visiting the Mansion, maybe purchasing a full tour through most animals/events possible at the Mansion. The idea him being a shady guy seeing that such a Mansion has potential (he might even try to see/probe if the player is interested to "defect"? ) However the guy/girl leaves and you get some other new quest ... However, lets say the next time Thaena gives you a dog-show as quest the customer tells you he was approached by someone that wanted to buy his dogs, or the Markarth-Hustler tells you someone wanted his "special" horses etc - first hints... The challenging other establishment itself? Personally I'd place it in the Riften Ratways - have a little door before those two Ffarfdh/Grey Mouser Cosplayers at teh entrance? The graphic-set of the Ratways (rough stone, dirt etc) would be quite suited for such an Underground-club - maybe run by a lower member of the infamous Black Briar family who wants to cahs in on the whole Mansion-busniness with his own version. Of course that version is far less "nice". The girls are often abducted and mistreated, the animals also not treated well/drugged. Storywise the player would early pay a little visit in the "Dark Mansion" to investigate (which may or may not end too well?), and later some quests outside would be about trying to get the new Mansion out o business or something like that, and vice-versa the "darkmansioners" would try to sabotage the Mansion in various ways. For example Thaena wants you to get a new animal from Solstheim and some Dark-Agent is interfering/messing your quest up etc.. This way you would have the potential to throw in darker stuff without "betraying" the idea of the real Mansion. It would surely add more diversity to the quest and, as said in the beginning, provide some kind of backstory for things to come (hey, Thaena could even have some kind of old friendship/relationship with the DarkMansioner? or something along those lines)

Hm, kinda true. And rewriting everything from scratch sounds like some hellish nightmare indeed. Though maybe, once the basic mod's finsihed, add/squeeze some more little quest-like encounters? Special guests now and then visiting maybe...Sexout Soliciting by Odessa comes to my mind here (Fallout NV Mod). And a bit more interaction with Thaena? Persoanlly, I am not so much about the mechanic that is important to me, more the atmosphere of it all. Dialouge, comments etc. For example the dog-aquiting-quest. People are clapping and cheering, but (if actually possible) it would be cool to add comments from them to what they see. Like "Oh, look at this bitch" etc ... same for the parties (which could use some more nudity by the guests ^^), though at least asking them after each act is a nice touch already, but might be even cooler if they comment while the action is on?

Not too crazy. I had to remember one of the earlier Animal Mansion Version where instead of the Jarl that Falkreath Tavern Owner was involved, andhe even send some Orc-bruisers to beat some sense in the PC and Theana. What I mean: Something like that could be a nice way to implement future (side)-quests. For example Thaena at the start is in money-trouble with her hotel, alright. Now instead of the Jarl/steward we have to talk with the shady people she lend herself some money from. And after, well, negotiations that may involve other kinds of persuasion the Mansion-Quests start proper. However, later on these shady chars might not be that interested in getting their money back, they want a share of the pie (typical mafia-movie-stuff), which could lead to all kinds of sheneigans and could also keep the option open for some (moderatly) darker stuff, if you ever want to add a bit diversity etc...

Greaves-Armor not showing when putting on chest armor?
jxm posted a topic in Skyrim Technical Support
I think its probably something very easy to fix (at least I hope so), but the last days trying to get Mod Organizer working drained me a little so...maybe someone can save me from more headaches (damn FNIS in MO and stuff...) as the title says I have some armor-mod putting greaves into the game, and they show up normally if naked, but as soon as I put on Chest armor they vanish. They are still equipped and add their armor-value and all, and the feet don't vanish/get invisible, they stay just bare. when I remove the chest, the greaves show up again. That's the mod, and someone there also had the same problem (sadly noone ever answered it :-( ). I also had no problem with that mod while still using NMM. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32948/? I already tried to mix around the load order and stuff, but not even sure about that. Maybe someone has an idea or can point me into the right direction to search what I am doing wrong? -
Sentence 1: And despite the gummibear-producers claiming otherwise there are far more red ones in every package than green ones...*clenches fists* Sentence 2: Yeah! I like Animal Mansion, and Beastial Essence, but its about time to add some darker streak to this. I always liked the little encounter in Oblivion's "Blackmail" in that regard...

Well, its like writing a book ore making a film. Everyone can slam together some sentences on a page or aim his camera at something and call it a day. But dedication, and especially the little details (like properly furniture and lighting etc) are important for story-mods, something often overlooked by some modders. I'd never had teh pateince to even decorate an interior, let alone an entire island or multiple houses, so I am impressed by this dedication

(Disscussion) Fallout 4 Adult Mods
jxm replied to ShadowThief's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
Well, in regards to non-adult-modding I think it's save to say the first mods will be weapon/armor/clothing mods. And I really hope that if Fallout 4 still has this stupid "one piece of amor covers the whole body"-system modders will soon find a way to have us mix-match various kinds of armor-pieces, to really customize the appearence and give us chars that really look like post-apocalypse...so modders, please watch the Mad-Max-movies again for inspiration (and not so much anime ^^) And adult-modding? Hm, I hope that it's so good a game that veterans from sexlab-skyrim and sexout-fallout will mod for the game as well, and bring many of their ideas to it. The Fallout-World is so much more fitting for crazy, weird, dark sex-stuff, like slavery, abuse, fetishes etc. These things often feel a bit out of place in a typical fantasy-world like Skyrim, and I have a hard time using those mods in a "official" playthrough. But not in Fallout-New Vegas, and Fallout in general. Here a crazy drug-addicted half-nude raider with a nude chick wearing only a gasmask on a leash? I can totally accept that here! Personally, I hope for something like a large Raider-fortress or savage tribal camp to be the location of some extended player-slavery ... -
So I'll probably wait until you got a bit deeper into this, but I know the mod from days past and it was kinda promising, though as usual its this fine line with slavery-mods: Entertain the player while keep the whole slavery-scenario, it is kinda difficult from what I've seen... Just a little thought for this: Even if you give the player stuff to do, like running errands, whoring for information or whatever, the name of the mod is Slave-Town, and the player should hardly treated like an equal therefore (well, as long as you want to stay focused solely on the player-slavery-part and don't have other things in mind) So punishment, humiliation, abuse, should be common throughout the quests. And of course creating atmosphere throguh dialouge and comments on the player. I think this is very important to breathe "life" into the enviroment. In this regard, having NPCs that behave a bit dfferently also might help. With that I mean: Not everyone should be a mean asshole, there could be slavers that see it merely as a job, others that relish in their power, others that actually feel sympathy etc, and if you add such characters some quests that could be added might come naturally, as there might be conflicts between the slavers where the player finds herself in Oh, and one last thought: Thanks for THIS: It might come of as rude from a non-modder but it so much bugs me that often modders come around with great ideas and mods and such, but then "ruin" it with everyday-names, celebritiy-names or names from other franchises, plus also this tendency to "ridicule" their own sexmod...with funny dialogue and weird, nonsensical situations where nobody reacts to as normal people would...so I hope you keep your mod somewhat "straight", there are very, very few mods on LL I'd consider to playin a normal palythrough, because it just doesn't fit into the world *sigh* Again I wrote far too much...

This post is only meant to add another voice that is excited to see this mod gets picked up again! I hope you have fun to advance the mod. Just one thought thrown in: I still think the original author might have wanted a bit too much too fast? When I remember all those places/worldspaces he created, with the second huge island. I am not a modder, but maybe taking a step-by-step-approach would be wise with this, meaning to first fill the main island etc with life, quests, encounters etc before throwing so much in it overwhelms you/us with half-finished content in a half-empty world... Good luck to you, I am sure many people are watching this (building up the pressure already )

What? Do I get this correct, you are actually working on this mod, mybrainhurts (unrelated: always wanted to give a thumbs up for that profile-pic ) I saw the thread bump up now and then, but was under the false (!?) impression it merely the usual bugfixing-help-stuff of a dead mod's thread?! Haven't tried the new updates by now (currently re-installing Skyrim with Mod Organizer for a change...hope it pays off later) Not wan't to get my hopes high though (I hate to be dissapointed ^^), but if you could keep up the good work of sky_mds and improve upon it, and even add content? Call me interested then. Intrigued even. As far as the Troll is concerned way back I tossed some ideas at sky_mds, so Toll for the Troll or How to train your Troll

Well...not deleting but...let me check something, yes, played Witcher 3 the last time two months ago. I was on Skellige then, shortly after meeting Yenn again, mostly scouring the countryside killing everything using the same few manouvers over and over again, but...I don't know what happened, but suddenly I had lost all interest in playing any further...I told myself "well, a short pause, then it's back in the saddle", but...that's two months now... Maybe the rather boring questline in Novigrad had tired me out, or the complete overlevelling, and hence boring fights? Or was it that damn crafting-system nobody needed plus an overcrowded inventory full of useless crap, which made finding weapons of power so damn worthless? Or maybe because I just grew tired of the whole "Where is Ciri"-plotine, a character that I didn't care about neither in the books nor the game? Or that I constantly had to decided to add free stuff to the game I had no need of in my current gameplay any longer? I am still assessing the situation and myself. I probably will continue playing one day (on a colder day probably, this is more a game for winter-evenings maybe), not deleting the game, but as much as I was hyped (see earlier pages), as quickly I had grown a wee bit tired of the game, especially with the "game-part" of the, well, game.... In defense of the Witcher that has happened with me and other games in the past as well... But before people tear me apart for that, and call me a damn hipster trying to be cool by "hating" on the things everyone agrees to be the best game ever...I will use the power of MUSIC to distract you and get out of here! *poof* >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43FnCO1DkOU

I like the dog-sex-show, yet I may just throw in some thoughts on that matter (from a non-modder): If this is only like "Ask owner, get on stage, fuck a dog, proft"-kinda scenario, it might run stale after, well, quickly enough I'm afraid. As it's a show, I think it stands and falls with something like "spectator's crowd" - people need to react to the act and, if possible, there should be reactions. Not sure how to call it, on-screen-dialouge? You know, people clapping, chering you and the beast on, admiring the act or comment what a bitch you are, how disgustingly hot it is, what kind of whore would do that etc, the more and diverse, the better. It's all about atmosphere here, including possibly other girls. Those could talk about how they got into it (for money, out of sex-lust, forced by their boyfriend-pimp etc). Also maybe diverse scenarios on stage, like some kind of contest (two/more girls fucking who lasts longest, not sure how to pull it off though, maybe just randomize it who wins etc), private sex-show in the backstage for wealthy customers of various, sometimes truly pervert character, training-sessions for both interested clients, new girls, and for new dogs too (maybe have a little underground-kennel-cell attached to your preffered location, for realism's sake?) Different characters around, like a dog-handler/trainer responsible to run the show? One could even throw in a little story here, like the PC getting hired as the new rising star in dog-fucking, but of course the already established girls are not too happy, potential for smaller sidequests that could be added over time as you feel like it? I hope you get some ideas, even if only what you do NOT want

Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
jxm replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
That kind of discussion comes up all the time with games like this. Last time I amused myself in sucha discussion was when Dragon Age Inquisition came out last year, and even had 2 (!) different voice-actors per gender! Which in my book was great... Personally, my opinion is: Elder Scrolls and Fallout always get punched for their weak storylines and weak support-characters/NPCs. But how can you tell an immersive story if your main char never really participates in the conversation, or loudly stands up to the villain and tells him to piss off, or confesses her love to Hero-NPC No. 2? Dragon Age Origins might be the counter-argument here, but then: If I could have the voice-actors from Inquisition to go back and voice all teh dialogue of Origins, I'd pay extra for that...because for me its simply non-immersive if everyone is talking but my own char - and everyone's pretending she did talk. So weird. But I guess its a matter of taste...(which I only wrote to discourage angry responses - my real thoughts on the matter are: Everyone having a different opinion than mine is stupid and should be banned from the internet! Ha!) -
Well, hello there, a Kennel mod Nice to see someone trying to fill that gap again. The Tryout-Kennel-Plugin was probably my favorite, but sadly doesn't work anymore with the latest updates. Just in case you don't know, it added a Kennel to the NCR-Prison, and when the Powder-Gangers capture the player-char the plugin added some degrading beastiality to the slave-scenario. I just mention it because surely its okay to steal pay hommage to this one if you need some ideas I quickly checked the mod in-game, and for sure it's quite early, but nevertheless some feedback: Get those fences down to earth a bit, they are mostly still hovering in the air It seems the whole location is quite close to a Rad-Scorpion-Spawnpoint. Which might fuck up things a bit. I jumped to the Kennel and first had to kill three of those fuckers... And some ideas and thoughts as well: I personally like the idea of non-consensual a lot more than for example the "Oblivion Lovers Bitch" approach where your char just walks into a place and says "Hi, can I fuck a dog please?" I also think its already covered nicely with the Breeders-Mods, so some more darker, forced content fitting for the post-apocalypse would be nice in my book. Of course it depends on where you wanna go with the mod. If I could "order" you what to do with the mod though...well, my wishlist would be: Atmosphere. The base, in and outside, should look somewhat "real", with barricades that really fortify the place, maybe an outside-kennel (those cages in Cottonwood come to my mind here), punishment-area etc. And dialogue, the more dialogue the better. Let your people tell about themselves, not everything from the start, but as one progresses through the mod more and more is revealed. Also, I like it for exampel as Fertilebreeder just add some topics about how to fuck a beat properly etc. Such little touches are always nice in my book. Also, a background-story to the whole place would be nice. In regards to my first paragraph, maybe a Poweder-Ganger-Connection. Or, a bit more original, that Dr. Cat did find the place, and maybe there is an underground-vault beneath the place, and she is conducting experiments to create, dunno, the ultimate wardog, to sell it to the legion or raiders etc. And she found out that her serum that turns them into wardogs makes them unusually sexual aggressive and fertile, and to prevent them littering the place with new puppies too quickly the dear doctor prefers human bitches to let the beasts get off some steam. Or they are simply breeding dogs and training human bitches to entertain the most filthy - filthy rich that is of course - people of Vegas, for shows. Which could lead to some interesting scenarios beside the "go to the kennel, get fucked"-part. People come to the place, demand things and the player has to obey? Or you are sent ("teleported"...) to a club in Vegas for some special entertainment? I also, by the way, would like if the player gets a bit of an reward the more dogs she fucks...for example after 20 a special little perk that increases Damage Reduction by one or so (after all those paws scratching your back and little bites... , or the "animal friend perk" for free after even more fucks. Of course it will be difficult to keep a player entertained him/herself in such scnearios without proper quests or stories, but I think there are ways to do this. All depending of course how mcuh work you are actually wanting to invest here, or what general approach you are taking at all. But most important of all: Have fun doing it. And don't bother if people like me that don't mod come here and suggest things you maybe don't like. It's your mod! (I only write this because jsut some minutes ago I read another thread in the Skyrim-section where a modder got a little prima-donna after confronted with criticism...)

Can't really help you in regards to "evil" in PoE but ... yeah, normally "evil", efven back in BG-times, only meant refusing quests or demanding money for saving the kitty in the tree, or going on a killing spree. I don't have a problem with that because I like the hero-path and actually have trouble committing myself to the evil answers, even though I am a total cynic in real iife...(being responsible for Bowdaar killing Mission Vao in Kotor 1 still makes me feel dirty...^^) I guess to play a truly evil RPG-"hero" just create one and then quit the game, as a truly evil guy simply wouldn't give a fuck ^^ Just kiddin' of course. But if you wanna know an RPG that allows you to indeed side with the main evil guy and end the whole fucking world: Arcanum ...

Well, for some time I was actually looking forward to Batman- Arkham Knight but ... the whole pre-order-DLC-insanity was driving me so nuts I said:Nope, thank you this time, waiting Game of the Year or something... And of course, seeing how it turned out now I am not just a little relived I didn't buy it...what a catastrophe, unbelievable... So I'll change my wish to Total War - Warhammer, someday next year. I wanna crush Chaos with my Reichs-Knights ... and damn you CA if it's a release like Rome 2...

AMEN BROTHER, and HALLELUJA! Seriously, spot on. I liekd ME2 when it came out, really, I did, thoughsome things like so many characters already made me frown, and the main story was so...eak, but hey, it could only get better when ME3 puts the pieces together, right? We see how that went. Now I see the problem with ME begins with ME2 already. Because Bioware or EA or whoever was too afraid. Afraid on actually continuing the first part in earnest. Instead they returned to status quo, cleaned the slate, obviously to make it easier to sell the game to new players not familiar with part one. It's right, ME2 has no impact on the story. It should be about the Reapers, preparing the galaxy for war, with Shepard the human Spectre playing the key-role here. Instead we hunt some bug-aliens that well, have some connection to the REapers, but really, take that connection away, it doesn't really matter... ME2 should have been the part where we learn more about the Reapers, from older races, ruins, archives etc. It could have mentioned the first little hints on how to defeat them, what there plans are, hell, if you really need that friggin Spaceboy than begin introducing him HERE! And have Cerberus as the main villains trying to disrupt the preperations for the Reaper-War ... why? So we can have a full-reaper-war in ME3 without Cerberus' annyoing involvement. Yeah, Illusive-Man was great, but never needed as a quasi-ally in ME2, full villain had been enough... It reallly freaks me out everytime I think of it...this whole bullshit. Shepard returns from the dead, and nobody at Alllienace-Command or so really seems to give a shit. And Shep's death, yeah, what a waste as only using it to justify the new char-creation-screen. It could have become an important plot-point. Making Shep half human-machine, much like A Reaper, the possibilities for this! Wasted... Really, the only impact this prologue-death had to generate some internet-buzz about Shep dying in ME2...which lasted about a week or so, because nobody believed it anyway. So at least use Shep's death at the END of ME2, make it a real suicide-mission, have Shep die whatever she does and...then let us speculate how ME3 brings her back to beat the Reapers ... and have this death play an important role in the story... Geez, Shepard was DEAD! And it only got mentioned/adressed in...was it ever really? Mass Effect 2 - 3 ... a series of wasted opportunities... Rant mode over ....
-
Sadly no, because in contrast to DAI Andromeda cannot be a good game ... because it cannot take place in an awesome universe anymore
-
Much like...Matrix, or Pirates of the Carribean? Anyway, yeah, no big intention to play, purchase or rent this game. So the title and premise seems to indicate Earth really got wrecked, eh? And we are changing galaxies? Why? Because Bioware really had the guts to fuck up their number one IP, storywise, long before every story could be told... Bold move, stupid move? I still think it was a huge fail of a story, starting with ME2 all the way to the bitter, nonsensical ending (only some bright spots like Mordin, but not enough to make this universe ever work again for me) ... I wonder if I'll see such a story fail yet again...I mean does anyone REALLY think Jon "Snow" "Targaeryen?" ,,,, ah, never mind

Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
jxm replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
Though I only had little doubts about this iam also quite happy its officially verified now... So...Jennifer Hale please as Female VO? I want my badass gunblazing redheaded no-nonsense post-apocalyptic mean-machine amazon! With a heart of gold -
Witcher 3 is not much more than story AND combat ... and gwint I guess ... And yeah, its fun to cut people in halves, but after a while it got more tedious to fight against "greyed" lowlevels by spamming the attack-button...maybe I should just go one step up to death-March and see how it goes there But story is singleplayer, combat and challenge is only mmo? Really, for me too much of a generalization, and I think Baldurs Gate was not an mmo...and had it both...well, a century or so ago...but yeah, single player games can and should try to have it all...
-
My 2 Cents ... a bit less horse-racing and Gwint-Card-Gaming and instead focus on the actual core of the game aka combat and levelling, if you have problems with time and release-date etc? Just an example. I don't wanna start a fight here but its a bit ... irritating that CD Red gets a pass on that while other companies are titled as sell-outs to EA and things like that... Witcher is still a great game, but just as with the previous titles the combat still isn't the strong side of CD Red...the stories being told are their strong sides, but take that away? I wouldn't really enjoy playing the game just for the combat...
-
I already wodnered what that Defense Force actually meant...funny... Well, yeah, probably, but I still don't see much reason to buy anything. I crafted the enhanced version of the griffin, and I so rarely use most of the potion-stuff (only Swallow, raffard, tawny, what else is needed, and with only two quickslots its a pain anyway to care for more potions..). And I only use lesser runestones if any...why? Because I always fear I find a better peice of equipment and want to keep the better runes for that....until I have finished the game.. But that's not the Witcher's problem...I end up always in RPGs with tons of money I NEVER spent and special potions etc I NEVER used...
