The issue is with opening the game the whole bethesda logos sequence leading to the main menu locks up, it runs the noises but it stops the movies. Once the main menu is to pop up it does and continues to function just fine from there. I have no mods which touch that area. And i have OR and obse updated lroperly. But that is all.

After following arvice to resolve my last issue my level up broke, i removed the line //vault//tes4 in the ini file but that did not resolve it. I disabled auto saving and that still did nothing. I am at a loss as to what I should do, does anyone have a solution?

I dont have ctds actually. Infact i am able to boot up oblivion. As i said the intro movie for the bethesda logos, when i hit play after running the oblivion.exe locks but the sound plays and once the main menu music starts it comes up, allowing me to play. I dont see any real problems with LOOT for oblivion but i will run boss for it.

I use LOOT, not boss. And i run it anytime a mod is updated, added or otherwise. I usually allow things to be merged into the bashed patch but alright i will keep dr from being merged. Set it to HDR and removed the extra natural weather mod. It didnt help the intro video however it still locks up, runs the noises for the bethesda logos and then after a few second main menu for selecting new game etc.

I've been having issues running 60fps constantly no lag but sudden CTDs' at different points and intervals.   Here is my mod load order.

Well there are also random glares of white in random spots that cause massive lag. But looking away removes the lag and the lightning glare doesnt follow.

So i have an issue with the fog on the load screen changing colors to blue specifically and the image blinking in and out repeatedly. There are no load screen changing mods and no special fog changing mods.

Aye the issue is that win8.1 is making it read only no matter where it is installed. I just need skyrim to be not read only, i have given everything full control in an attempt to change this but it does not work. Should i have posted this topic elsewhere btw? It was about skyrim tbh..

I am running Win8.1 (not by choice) and I was testing familiar faces 1.1.5 and i found out that skyrim cannot be written to. At least while in the x86 folder, will i break anything to move skyrim out of there to a newly created folder in the C drive? Move all of steam really. I figure this is where most of my crashing is coming from currently. Will there be any paths to change?

So i was playing and some enemies were stuck as a T mostly creatures, and then i saw a silverhand that was a troll. And i have consistent ctd issues when i travel by foot. Im not sure what is causing it i run skyrim on a gtx 960, i have to use the reanimate mod to get the T shape to not happen so often and ive setup the tweaks and skse stuff that stabilizes places. Most issue i have is in the rift.

Cleaned but from the looks of things the animations from sic are all that is broken. I will report to them, and cell loading is what crashes the game but i dont have much that uber changifies the cells.

I have run loot, not the newest update for it just yet. Should i let it run through all the mods then? Oh my skyrim.esm and dawnguard.esm are choked full of errors. I uh have no idea how to handle all this lol my bad.

I have read it, but i am using my phone so it makes posting some information... Difficult to say the least. My apologies. I have fnis and run it, along with its creature pack. It does the T mostly to SIC enemies.

Ah that is solved now. Excellent, thank you. Although it seems my sheathe for dawnbreaker was replaced in the midst of this and turned into a strap of leather. Groovtama i like the new mcm. So easy now.

After upgrading to the newest DSR and uping to groovtamas xpmse skeleton my sword is no longer on my back, it sheathes onto my back like normal but then teleports to my side. Not sure what Ive done wrong can anyone help?

Yes but those only move it up down left and right it doesnt move it to my back. 3.02 of dsr? Or racemenu? Ahh right i had v2 didnt realize i was outdated already, and so is my racemenu. Retrieving those files.

Oh but my racemenu doesnt have any option to set my sword on my back. Is it one of these up down left right sliders? Seems like a pain in the ass to do it alot tbh.

I now run a GTX 960 with my desktop but skyrim has become unstable and CTDs are frequent. Even inside interiors. Havent changed or added any mods, a rather intense conundrum now.

My old system was a laptop amd quad core 1.6ghz with a built in radeon hd 6620 card. I now have an intel 3 4150 4th gen dual core 3.50ghz with a nvidia geforce gtx 730 2gb vram and 8gb system ram. I still have all the same mods i did from my laptop pulled them off of it. And let skyrim detect the new hardware set my stuff to medium and i have 10-15 fps at all times for some reason ky laptop ran at 20-30fps at all time and it was muuuch worse. Should i simply copy my mods to a text and round them back up for an entirely fresh install? Granted my laptop was on win7 and this desktop is on win8 which i found out has its own mouse in game lag and so forth. Still im hoping its something easy to fix.

AH dang seeing all the women characters makes me feel so odd posting here. But I hope someone enjoys my character I poured 1322 hours into him and it took 72 hours to get just these couple of mediocre pictures so don't judge me to harshly! Q_Q   This is Bormir The Lion Relaxing at home with Zora in some of the backgrounds and Vilja in others. (Neither would go away from him while he relaxed in his chair.)   And sadly this is the last to be seen of him, Dawnguard broke his saves so I can't save in anyway while playing as him any longer. (Saved the autos just incase I find a fix though but otherwisehe is gone but not forgotten T_T)

The problem is the spotty connection itself. due to the massive quantity of trees surrounding the house coupled with the remote location and then being in the basement(much to my dismay in the dead of winter.) my connection is almost non existent. Although if I travel about 4 miles north or south of here I can get 4G with an excellent signal it is quite nice.   I have finished the download and installed the update I will edit the post and let you know if it improved anything.   EDIT: With the driver updated and I even changed the resolution to 1366x768 I have a solid 40fps, which is vastly better than what I was playing at before hand.   edit2: although I have really bad FO3 type mouse stutter with a lower screen resolution. and higher so mouse lag is bad when looking. should I turn up the look speed ingame?
