  1. Budget PC recommendations

It's been mentioned to me that you want to over power the system.  I'm not sure by how much, but if it requires say 500W to run, and you've got a 520W power source, that source is going to be running flat out as hard as it can go all the time, and will thus likely fail sooner.  Getting more power than you need lets the power unit not work quite so hard so it'll last longer... of course you're using more power in the process.   Solid state drives are like sports cars.  Fast, but when they crash, they crash hard, and with little to no warning.  If it's important, don't put it on an SSD, or at least back it up onto something more stable.
  2. A Powerful Admirer

Once again, a masterpiece of storytelling and plot laying.  Nicely done.
  3. Masau'a, the naturalness of the second picture from the bottom in post # 27810.  Wow.  Just, wow.  Nicely posed.
  4. Nara's Return

Awsomeness.  True to form for an Orc's mentality, as well as the unwilling semi-tainted "White Knight" of Mai's suitor.  Well done.
  5. The Bath-House Vampire - Prologue

Sir.  Seriously.  Are you trying to scar Lars for life???  That poor kid! Mai, Mai, Mai...
  6. Random Stories!

"You broke Lars!" Oh, Mai.  Freaking hilarious!  I'm really enjoying the saga of Mai so far.  The work put in is obvious.
  7. Looking to reduce the brightness of the "Equipped Gear" widgets along the right side of the screen.  They're absolutely deplorable for:   1. Immersion   2. Those late night bow hunts where you need your night vision, thanks!   (Glasses?  In Skyrim??  *Google, Google...*)
  8. Afraid of women, help me guys and girls

I'm the same way.  It comes down to not wanting to waste time with people who aren't serious about a relationship, weather that be a simple friendship or a romantic one.  If they have to work at it to get to know the real you, by the time they do, you know they're serious, and you've weeded out a bunch of "just for fun"s in the process.  On the other hand, many people do judge by first impressions, so you will, in all likelihood, loose out on a number of potential good friendships with this method.   Depends on weather you need a bunch of "friends" to feel good about yourself or prefer a few friends, and don't mind being alone until you find that one person who's best for you.
  9. Just Something Cute

Oh man!  I'd forgotten about good ol' Kiwi!
  10. Afraid of women, help me guys and girls

Be yourself, but realize that being the yourself you are now is going to get you nowhere.  You have to change, at least in some ways, for example those of us who spend far to much time with computers at the expense of real honest to goodness socialization.   You've got to have something to offer.  Being financially independent as well as physically independent (no longer living with one's family) is huge, at least in this country.   It also helps to have goals.  Always, something to strive for, work toward.  Don't get stuck in a rut.  When things get stale, move on, that being for life in general.   Do what I say, not what I do...   Finally, I think it's worth considering words that are wayyyy overused.  "Love" is one of those words in my book.  To say "Oh, I've fallen in love!" for the 27th time... yeah, not very likely.  To my way of thinking, love can be learned over time, but it's highly unlikely to get that head over heals "it doesn't matter what happens, I'll always love you, and who cares what anyone else thinks" love happens more than twice in a lifetime.   It's entirely possible to have loved, but not been "in love".  Huge difference.   Yes, I'm one of those guys who'll say "Gee she's cute" and walk on by.
  11. What did you screw up today ?

Well it's 10 minutes till tomorrow, and I have to be on my way in 6 hours.  Why the hell am I still up?
  12. Count to 1,000,000

  13. What do you LOVE?

I love Love; yada yada, ramble ramble, etc and so on.   Sorry, had to.
  14. Awesome mod Kimy!  Got things right where I want them, but have an issue with the Cursed Collar.  It engaged okay, but when I entered a fort to try to find "help", my character got attacked and had a belt and arm cuffs put on her... which the Cursed Collar didn't like - one bit!  It read them as clothing.    "You're wearing clothes!" Zap.  "You're still wearing clothes!" Zap! Zap! "Hey!  What'd I tell you about those clothes?!" ZAPZAPZAPZAP!!!! (Bleedout, stagger, restore health, repeat).    Best work around for now is to turn off Devious Devices (Devious Captures) for bandits post attack when the Cursed Collar is in effect.  Perhaps something along this order could be worked into the scripts instead of having to do it through the menu?
  15. First off, absolutely love this mod!  Got an inquiry and a request.   Inquiry:  How do the various MCM settings play with each other?  Specifically, I see several different MCMs (at least two) that deal with SD+, and I'm wondering how they work with each other so far as their "weights" are concerned.  I know that setting various scenario "weights" are relative to each other, hence why you can set them all to 5, or all to 95 and it's effectively saying the same thing to the code (that is "treat them all equally").  But what of having multiple MCMs that are talking to SD+?  Here's what I have:   Death Alternative -On Bleedout SD+ and Defeat at 60, Necromancy at 30   -On Blackout   All quests checked, and at 10, exceptions Sanguine 14, Enslavement 18   OnDeath Event SD 80. The other option here is unchecked, effectively immortalizing the PC.   SD Enslavement in SD tab set to 50.   So several different places where I'm giving SD different instructions as to what weight to give its quests.  Does this matter?  Does one override the other (DA perhaps being stronger than SD?)  I've yet to see any of the quests besides enslavement, though I've not had a save where I've gotten the character enslaved, free and then enslaved again per SD's statements of how to start the mod.   Request:  Something to do with mutual enslavement of followers. Rather than just "your free to go" or "DIE!", as per the Death Alternative follower options (which I've found to be rather iffy as to if they're actually working or not), why give up a perfectly good slave?  If one slave is good, isn't two better?  It beats the heck out of "Hello follower.  Why are you walking around free as a bird while PC here is all trussed up?  You went down in the fight before the PC did.  What's going on here?"  By the way, the previous sentence took place with "Kill Protected Followers" enabled in DA.  I believe the follower was a regular, not a protected follower.  Looks rather silly to have one's former follower without a care in the world still following the PC around while the PC is enslaved.
  16. I have a friend who's been pushing me to join his type of work as I've told him enough that he gets that I'm rather getting tired of what I'm doing.  Not who I work with mind you, it's the work, not the people.  The problem with his line of work?  Holidays.   This particular sector is one of the few that will find every obscure holiday in the book and find a reason to celebrate it, decorations and all. No thank you.   By the way, I first saw Christmas decorations in mid September.  So there!   Pop-up advertisements.  Boots at the top, and mini-Youtube commercialized at the bottom right hand corner - that takes up a good quarter of the bottom quadrant of the screen and covers up things I really would like to see.  There are also pop up windows that come up mid-type, so I type half a sentence when the page I'm typing on is no longer even active due to this stupid advertisement.  That and browser update tabs.  It seems every time I open a tab to do something, this browser update tab opens - again.  By the time I'm finished, if I don't close them every time, I can have five or six "Update your browser!" tabs, in addition to the five or six I'm actually using.  Damn it's annoying.  "NO I don't want to update the damn thing right now.  Leave me alone!"   "But why?  The new one's SOOOOO much better than the old one!"  I've had any number of instances of "updating" only to have things go awry.  You want me to tell you where you can put your updates???

  20. "What mod is this?"

The mod that makes the map locations (all of them, including all the cities) visible only after you've visited them...?  Basically a "reveal map" mod.  Had it, lost it (we already knew that! ), can't find it.  Thanks in advance!
  21. funny pic

  22. Absolutely love the organization/order involved!    Everything nice and organized, no more everything-in-one-chest.  Kinda dark for my taste, but I can see understand ( ) why you did it that way.  Nice job!
  23. In addition to long walks, sometimes it's a boat trip, though the actual trip isn't modeled as boats don't move in this game.  The slaver brings your gal to a boat at the head of the bay, knocks her out with sleeping potion, then she wakes up at the slaver camp.
