  1. Right there is going to be a change of the goal on this mod to make it appealing to everyone. It will contain features for hardcore and non-hardcore players while still remain challenging to both. It will bring an array of new traits, perks, recipes, food, modified vanilla armors and weapons, enemies, conditions, modifications and implants.

    A full report on changes and reason behind it will be put up within the next few days. It will be an interesting concept and user feedback is appreciated. Updates will be a bit slower for a couple of weeks but will contain more content then previous patches. I am currently designing new conditions for another mod which will make there way into this one or visa versa.

    Description:

    Adds new recipes and consumable items to the game. These consumables are like real life medical products, each kit will contain items based on its name, for example a first aid kit will contain a stimpack, radaway, food and drink. All kits will be craft-able and will require multiple crafts in some cases depending on the kit, irradiated kits can be upgraded to clean kits using sanitisation packs. Two variants of each kits will be available, irradiated and clean. Some of each kit will be shattered around the wasteland with come clean types being in vaults.

    As a hardcore player I found it annoying that I had to carry multiple items in my inventory to cover all situations. I decided that I needed to change that and started working on my first ever Fallout New Vegas mod! :) Consider this mod an inventory sorter of sorts. I later decided the medicine in the game could use some tuning so decided to expand on it further.

    Current Kits

    Kits are currently being redone.

    * = This attribute is subject to change and may be different in release.

    ** = First aid based kits may not include food or water products as these are not normally in these kits.

    Planned Features:

    • New Recipes
    • New Healing and Restore Kits
    • New items used in crafting these kits
    • When used the box unpacks into the players inventory instead of being used in one go.

    Change Logs

    Version 0.3.1

    - Changed value of the First Aid Kits to 175, 175 being total value of all items making it. Sells in-game for roughly 250 caps.

    - Changed value of Ration Packs to 120. Sells in-game for 171 caps.

    - Dirty First Aid Kit, Dirty Ration Pack and Dirty Morphine have had the following changes:

    • Changed to Misc Item instead of Aid
    • Weight of 1 each
    • Are now listed as Contaminated instead of Dirty.
    • Can be handed into a doctor at later date, best start collecting.

    - Added Sanitisation Kit to merchant doctors. These kits convert Dirty First Aid Kits to Clean.

    - Added Perk 'Careful Application'

    • Increases healing by 5 points for Stimpaks and Super Stimpaks
    • Requires 7 Intelligence and medicine of 40.

    - First Aid Kits now unpack when used and give:

    • 1 Stimpak
    • 1 Antivenom
    • 1 RadAway
    • 1 Hydra
    • First Aid Kits use 4 weight

    - Stimpak, Super Stimpaks, Anti-Venom, Hydra and RadAway all now have a weight of 1.

    FAQ

    Question: How much will they weight?

    Answer: Each pack will weight to total value of the items needed to create them. This is a hardcore mod so I decided I was not going to mess with the weight to make it easy for me.
