I already have my free CRYENGINE SDK pointing to Star Citizen files, but Crytek release their subscription base option for the new version of CRYENGINE: http://cryengine.com/get-cryengine   And guess where do they offer the engine? ... ..... ......... Yes... STEAM... http://cryengine.com/get-cryengine/eaas http://store.steampowered.com/app/220980/   So, let suppose I want to write and design a full mod for Star Citizen, or Kingdome Come Deliverance, and the free SDK doesn't allow me to write a version of my mod compatible with the new releases of those games. What should I do?... well.... I will have to buy or subscribe for the Engine via Steam, and "maybe" agree in "all the possible condition about the distribution of my mod" Thats not the way a free mod developer should work. I love those two games, but unless Cloud Imperium Games Corporation and/or Warhorse Studios or their respective game designers Chris Roberts and Daniel Vávra clarify the modding regulation/conditions of their games, or the position of their companies on the current STEAM problem, I really don't think I'll spend any time doing any kind of mod for them. Dark times ahead.... sadly

As a biologist I am, consider this to be just another part of the cycle of life. The modders will migrate to other games that are not in steam, games worthy of their interest, and when the new franchise became something big enough, something similar to this will happen once again.   Let me tell you a story (forget my english): Its happen 10-15 years ago, back then I was giving support with php forum and CMS, for free, in a community of people who were giving free support. I lost count of the many nights I spend till 6AM fixing some else forum, web page, or anything closely related. I lost the count of the hours I spended in phpmyadmin fixing some else shit, just for the satisfaction of fixing something. I never asked for a compensation because In the forum everyone was working for free. Maybe for some one I was a stupid, for giving away something that could have given me a profit. I was a college student back then, and believed in the selfless help.   And then one day, someone came asking for paid help, he/she wanted a super webpage with forum, CMS, javascript game, etc. And the community start eating each others..  The webmaster, a girl with heavy knowledge in systems and legal rights simply banish the community from one day to another (to avoid legal problems). And the crows were flying on the horizon for a few months until they got tired and left. But we lost the community sadly. I retired from modding and support, and only mod again for personal use.  The softwares involved in the process (php forum, CMS, etc) lost a lot of free addons, and support, and eventually, they were replaced for others.  And everything happen because some people wanted something better for their web pages, and instead of contacting a professional programer/designer, they came to the "free-guys" and started a schism.   Now is happening something similar, but much larger, even though, it will end the same. The software will decay (the game), the company in the worse scenario will just change name, the "free-guys" will move on, and in a few years when a new stage became ready for harvest, the Harbinger will return.       My biggest concern in this case, is the survival of the community, and the only true, is that after 15 years I still have some contact with some of those "free-guys" and that shows me an important lesson.   When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives

Time to move on, and  I'm waiting for Kingdome Come Deliverance and Mount & Blade II Bannerlords. If anyone want some help developing mods for these games please send me a PM. I will not waste more of my time with that buggy and pathetic CK they gave us..

I'm sorry for the silly question, but. what happen with yaksha race revamp?, because I was looking for it in old thread and couldn't find any link to the file and, eventually, I end in this topic but the OP doesn't have any information on the subject.

I just spent the last two weeks trying to make a few changes to the way in which you interact with the ladies at the court. Two weeks and a few nights (i'm on vacation). Today I came back to skyrim with my tail between my legs, my ego bruised and my eyes in red because of the insufficient sleep. It is possible to made all those changes, but work directly with Python IDE without any kind of visual UI or any graphical tool, is extremely stressing (stressing just for say something).

That remind me of M&B Warband, I use to love to capture prisoners and sell them at the slave auction house or slave merchant. It'll be great if anybody implement something like that in skyrim.

Ok, I finally switch to Citrus Head, in some cases I didn't have any problem, but recently I found this.   For some reason BSLightingShaderProperty is missing and I cannot link the head texture to the nif. I dont know if is a Citrus Problem or a RaceMenu problem.   Edit: Solved, I just update RaceMenu to 3.0.1B and no more problem.

Destiny in PS4, because my video card died (and searching for people who want to play nightmares strikes  , this game needs a chat, or some kind of group finder). Will play Skyrim again in a few weeks I guess, after I buy my new graphic card. And I'm waiting for Valkyria Chronicles PC version, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and for my MMO choice, probably Black Desert and/or Star Citizen.

Actually the author of the mod, explicitly said that he will start the development "only" after he finish his other mod "Defeat" Just take a few min of your time to read all the post in this thread and you will find some more "revealing" data about this future project.
