I encountered a glitch. I had an assault on me after being knocked to zero health that was interrupted by my followers and apparently I got a pacify cloak spell stuck on myself and I was also permanently in the pacified faction the mod adds. I managed to fix most of that with some console commands, but I think vampires and other undead might also still be stuck in that faction, because they were all neutral to me until I removed myself from the faction, even ones encountered elsewhere hours later. You may want to add a toggle for the MCM menu to clean up that sort of thing manually, or have it expire automatically.

For follower management, I really liked Simple Multiple Followers, by kuertee. I liked the features and it seemed to be compatible with pretty much everything I used at the time. For actual followers, I keep picking up Sofia over and over. How can you not love a follower who gets drunk and takes off all her clothes? I think she and Niner must be spirit twins or something. And every time she walks past Nazeem or Braith.... LOL. I had a bug with Sexlab Defeat once where she actually joined in an assault on me, which almost seems like it would be in character for her. Hoth was really cool. Totally badass armor. Loved the voice actor, same guy who did the sarcastic bounty-paying ranger in New Vegas Bounties II. Arissa is good, but she seems kind of wimpy to me. I'm always rescuing her from a room full of horny draugr. And despite being a thief character, she's as useless for a stealthy character as any other follower. Cerwiden is nice for her role as a team healer, which I think is entirely absent from all other follower mods (correct me if I'm wrong). Her voice gets on my nerves though so I don't use her anymore. There's Vilja, who is a pretty good follower, if you're willing to spend 10 minutes looking through 50 dialogue branches every time you need to talk to her. I know everybody seems to love her to death, but frankly she gets on my nerves. I tried Mirai briefly. Her quest was very interesting, but kind of buggy. Loved the voice acting. I'll try her again soon, I think. I keep meaning to try Inigo. The purple hair kind of puts me off though. The two girls from the Dragon Break I / II quest mod are absolutely hilarious. Kind of useless in combat, but they had me in laughing fits for hours.

Too Much HDT is the CTD's for skyrim ??
Rooker replied to D_ManXX2's topic in Skyrim General Discussion
I get the boobs-stretching-across-the-cell problem too and I've definitely got the right skeleton. I just reinstalled it a couple weeks ago. Also get boobs just sitting there having a spasm like Jello in an earthquake. I can't seem to stop myself walking up to the NPC in question and asking them to calm their tits. /off topic/ @yatol, Dragon Break's an awesome mod, amirite? -
Sure. People will want to change the whole atmosphere to their own liking. Bright, sunny, cheerful. Dark, and creepy. Soggy looking. etc. The vanilla options will almost certainly not give enough options to satisfy everybody.

Do Immersive Creatures dragons cause knockdown?
Rooker replied to Rooker's topic in Skyrim Non Adult Mods
That's what someone else said, but I've never had that mod, just Deadly Dragons and I always turn off that option immediately after creating a new character. I had Genesis too, but that just creates more spawns, not spawns with new abilities, at least as far as I know. I think I'll reinstall SIC and see what happens, because I really did like it. Maybe the MCM toggle for that option in Deadly Dragons simply quit working for some reason, though it would be the first time I'd ever seen it happen. If I start getting ragdolled again by dragons, I'll just have to hope it doesn't corrupt the save when I remove it. -
I asked on their Nexus page and nobody who knows anything is answering me. I played with Skyrim Immersive Creatures for a couple days and liked it, but during one of my first dragon fights after installing it, I got ragdolled every time it landed near me, like I'd been Fus Ro Dahed. Deadly Dragons has that feature, but I always turn it off and I have no other mod that messes with dragons. Is that something that Immersive Creatures does and is there a way to disable that if it is? That's a deal breaker and I won't use it if it's going to do that. I wasn't (and won't) use the high level enemies add-on, just the core stuff.

I hate that this glorified toaster I use can't possibly hope to play it =( I don't much like the idea of downloading 30gbs of Day One patch either. Other than that, how can you possibly know enough about it yet to hate anything?

After a certain point in Skyrim's support lifetime, Beth seemed to finally discover the concept of quality assurance testing and started beta testing patches before releasing them. It will still be a buggy mess, because it's Bethesda, but I have some hope it won't be quite as bad this time as it's been with previous games. It's a shame the fan base always has to step in and fix their bugs for them, but we'll do it anyway. There will probably be minor bug fixes on the Nexus by Tuesday and probably a Fallout 4 Unofficial Patch V 1.0 within 2-3 weeks of release of the new GECK. With Beth.net, even the console peasants might be able to use them for once.

I can just imagine SSoHPKC as he starts creating his character for his inevitable YouTube LP series. I never did catch that video where he explained what the hell it means.

I had the frustrating experience of trying to run NMC's maximum texture pack for New Vegas and the HD textures on Skyrim on a machine that was more than enough to handle it, with the exception that it used a regular spinning HDD. The stuttering as textures loaded in was horrible. I will never put together another gaming rig that uses a spinning drive for the OS/games.

The CAGE mod fixes that problem, though honestly I don't even do the main quest anymore, at least once I've killed Benny (unless I'm playing a quest mod that requires I be further in). I agree, it was a bad decision to ship those games like that. Sandbox games shouldn't just end like that. "Let's create a huge game world with scores of quests and dungeons, then lock the player out of them if they're silly enough to do the main quest we're pushing them through." That's the cue for the "but then your actions have no significance!" crowd to swarm in like white knights to protect Obsidian/Bethesda's honor. To that I'll say that the entire main quest has no significance if I have to reload from before its conclusion if I want to do anything else. Anyway, again, both games are awesome. Get them.

I've got the nasty suspicion a tremendous number of people won't be able to play it the first couple of days due to Valve servers melting into little puddles of silicon. Wouldn't be the first time a game launch sputtered out and crashed in flames for that exact reason in recent memory.

Good lord, if it's going to require downloading 30ish gigs... It would take me more than a damn week to download all that. I have the shittiest internet you can imagine.

List of Well Known Skyrim Bugs/Glitches & Their Solutions
Rooker replied to bjornk's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
uesp.net has a huge list of stuff like this. Some that I can think of that I've been hit with more than a few times... If you attempt to mine something while crouched, you might get stuck that way. Sometimes jumping will fix, sometimes not. You can get stuck at crafting stations (especially enchanting tables) if you use the mouse wheel to scroll. This was supposedly fixed in either a patch or by SkyUI, but I still get it occasionally. Opening the console and typing player.moveto player will fix it. If you try to use a power or shout while being staggered, it might fail and you won't be able to try again or switch to another shout/power for several seconds. I wish I knew how to fix or workaround this one because I get it constantly. A creature or NPC that dies while ragdolled might become stuck in a rigid pose and not have an activator to loot or eat. A save/reload usually fixes, or you can select them in the console and type snpcw 100 and they'll finish the ragdoll and be activatable again. Dragons sometimes spawn with a very low-res texture that only updates to normal when they die. Select in the console and type snpcw 100 and that will fix that. Nearby terrain (especially the ground) will sometimes fail to load their full texture. A save/reload usually fixes this. Braith is an annoying, obnoxious little girl. No known fix beside killable children mods. (kidding) -
FO 3 and New Vegas too. They're both definitely worth having. They're great without mods. They're amazing with mods. Get Oblivion too, if you liked Skyrim. Its leveling system is a joke, but aside from that it's still a fantastic game.

Pre-ordering is good for physical things, like books if you're still reading paper books. It gives retailers a better idea of how much they need to have in their stocks. I don't think it makes sense for customers for digital goods, unless what you're ordering is on disc, then go ahead. It looks like Valve seems to have been forced to start following regional refund/warranty laws finally, but I still wouldn't want to risk it myself. Besides, this is a Bethesda game. You know very well there will be at least two patches in the first 6 weeks or so to fix showstopper bugs. "Obviously, piracy is a real issue only on the PC" Whoever wrote that article is an idiot. People were playing New Vegas on the Xbox weeks before street date. There's piracy on every platform.

I've been through these before on busy sites and they can be really nerve-wracking for the site owner. Those who can afford to should chip in and help buy Ashal some beer. If anyone's having strange glitches or trouble staying logged in, delete all the cookies from this site and dump out your browser cache. That usually fixes 99% of trouble after a message board is upgraded. I sure hope we'll be able to switch color themes for ourselves like we used to. I personally hate trying to read a site with black backgrounds and white text; sets my eyes on fire.

I'd like to block Treva's Watch from being chosen as the target for any radiant quests. Is it as simple as opening the CK and deleting all the keywords for it in its location object window (SilverHandTarget, LocTypeDungeon, etc)? Or is there something else I should do? I want to make sure I never have to see the inside of that place ever again.

This does the job, but it seems to be real temperamental. If it's not absolutely dead last in the load order, the map markers will stop appearing.

[BETA TESTING] Devious Surrender V2
Rooker replied to MixedupJim's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
I'll have to try this again when I have a better PC. The one I have now is at its absolute limit running Skyrim. Scenes and animations from some mods just take too long to fire, everyone stands around for 20 - 45 seconds and it makes everything really immersion-breaking. Same problem I'm having with Defeat. Sexlab Leveling seems to run fine for me and I found a workaround for my problem, so I'll use that. I do like the way this mod is turning out though, so I'll try it again when and if I ever replace this glorified calculator. Some thoughts on it (version 2). One problem I had, which is probably related to the above, was it kept trying to start the lockpicking minigame in the middle of a sexlab animation. Maybe change it so we can start it whenever we want, with a cooldown after a failed attempt before you can try again. Another thing is, there's no way to hear what sound the tumbler is going to make until you've already pressed it, so it seems like it doesn't matter whether it was the right choice or not. The sounds were all identical as far as I could tell, so I just ended up pressing buttons at random. Maybe have a way to try all three before deciding that's the one you want to try for that tumbler before moving on to the next. And then make it fail immediately if you pick the wrong one, because what's the point of trying the 2nd and 3rd tumbler if the 1st one is already wrong? Honestly, I hate minigames like this anyway. I despise the normal lockpicking too, in all of Bethesda's games. Don't even get me started on the hacking minigame in Fallout 3 and NV. When I do manage to get free, I'm still stuck in the bound pose unless I jump. If I jump, the enemies notice that and end up immediately chasing me again. Maybe don't dispel the calm cloak (or whatever it is) so quickly so we can unglitch that and start sneaking away. The chest causes a few problems. In one scene, it spawned under the bandit's feet, which left him humping air 10 feet in the air. In most of the other scenes, the chest would block him from walking away. You know how brain dead Bethesda's AI is about traveling when there's an obstacle in front of them. Maybe try a small sack or something else the NPC can walk over instead of getting stuck on. Finally, it occurs to me that Frostfall might cause a problem for someone tied up naked on a glacier. You might want to add a frost resistance buff or something while the player is bound, maybe equip invisible fur armor or something. -
Sexlab Aroused Redux Dec 01, 2015
Rooker replied to fishburger67's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
I'm having a problem I think is coming from this mod. When the arousal level gets high, I can't equip anything to the chest slot unless I already have something in both the hand and feet slots. It's happened twice now to the same character. I disabled the "add spell to player" in the MCM but all that did was remove a small nerf to skill increases. Load order -
Things in the Dark (alpha / In progress)
Rooker replied to Delzaron's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
Talk to Commander Caius instead. It was supposed to be switched from him to Irileth at some point, but the dialogue topic still has a condition that only makes it work for Caius. -

Your quest mods look interesting, so I'm going to play around with them the next few days, starting with this one. Just as an FYI, TES5Edit found just under 2,500 dirty edits to clean. -
Pretty sure that's Little Sexy Armor Replacer. I use it myself and that's exactly what it looks like in my game. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5564/

I figured out what this was. It's caused by Sexlab Defeat running, even if "player as victim" is disabled. I had wanted to keep it so NPCs could assault each other independent of what's going on with me, but looks like that won't work.
