Tried the Whiterun sewer, not sure if it is only me, if I enter from the water entrance even after surfacing the "underwater sound" doesn't go away. Have to exit back to Whiterun using the same swimming exit to get the sound to stop, even leaving through the ladder won't work. Am I not suppose to talk to most of the people in there? More often than not they don't have the interact prompt except for the merchant and prostitute. Also the prostitute sometimes doesn't have the dialog choice when talking to her. I thought it is because she is about to have animation with someone, but standing around for a little bit no one approaches her.

Video card, you quite frankly have very limited choice in that matter. Your cpu upgrade will likely lead to motherboard upgrade, as well as possibly ram along with it.

I actually like Oblivion's aspect the most in terms of being a non-savior. In both Morrowind and Skyrim the PC is kind the savior of the world. Oblivion you are technically the assistant to the person who will save the world, and other than the "I saw you in a dream" there's nothing truly spectacular about the PC...until the end of Shivering Isle. Morrowind PC is a reincarnate hero of legend, Skyrim is dragonborn. As for the world stops until PC is around I think it is a hard to tackle problem. PC can only see and hear what is there when he/she is around. Technically everyone might be having an adventure while PC isn't around, but then does everyone have to come out and tell the PC that whenever he/she is around to make it seems like they did something? To have "incidental" events it pretty much means an extensive scripting of the NPCs' routine and AI. Which I guess is what the radiant events are sometimes suppose to be? Merchant fighting off bandits, hunters hunting, companion out and about, fights between imperial/stormcloak and vigilant/vampires, soldiers marching prisoner, etc. There are events that the PC is suppose to feel like he/she just happen to come across...of course the truth is that the game spawn them base on parameters and chances whenever area loads.

Dayelyte's Unnatural Animations
afa replied to Dayelyte's topic in Downloads - Skyrim Adult & Sex Mods
I really like the first draugr animation. The second one with the shoulder issue is pretty common with Skyrim animation. Maybe turn the character around so she is facing the draugr with her arms trying to push him away. Or leave her facing the other way but ANOTHER draugr on his knees pumping her mouth and she is trying to push that one away instead! What could go wrong! -

Anyone having issue with the adventure quest after returning to the starter NPC? The corset is still left on PC, and fast travel is not re-enable. Even unlocking the corset fast travel is still unavailable. And in damsel in distress one (or maybe even both?) of the piercing can be lock pick off, and it will stay in inventory if remove that way, along with fast travel not re-enable. Re-equip it and then unlock it with proper key will make it disappear again and fast travel will come back. Also what is the npc in Whiterun suppose to do?

Dayelyte's Unnatural Animations
afa replied to Dayelyte's topic in Downloads - Skyrim Adult & Sex Mods
About the dog and wolf scaling skeleton, is it possible to duplicate their skeleton, rescale it and then tell the game (esp) to use the smaller set for dog and then larger set for wolf from the get go? Not sure how much extra work that will be then having to work two set of skeletons, but they should be similar afterward right? As for missing animation, I would say the dwarven set of enemies are not getting any love at all! -
[Defeat] Is there anyway to make it that you cant die
afa replied to MilkSpray's topic in Technical Support - SexLab Framework
I don't think TIM necessarily let your health down to zero base on what I have observe. I think a better way is to say that it will ignore the damage of what would have been PC's fatal hit, so it could actually lead to cases where PC health will constantly be stuck at a relatively low level and never dying or take any damage. Go fight a giant and see what I mean. Also kill animation could lead to a lot of issues. Get a mod that disable those if you use TIM. But for now TIM is still the closest thing to preventing death for defeat. -

MO I never quite get wyre bash, mess around with it back in Oblivion when I had to, but haven't miss it since. Also anyone know if there's a way to search for a plugin in MO's left panel?

Same experience here with my first serious character. Wanted to give magic a try with the whole "new dual casting system" in skyrim. And just when I thought that was cheese enough, I decided to switch over to archery for something new...and well, rather than needing to stun someone over and over again, how about just kill them all in one hit instead?

My my giving up already? There were seriously thought on this thing would have top the Titan? All of the leaks and rumors had pointed otherwise, and even the price point is a clear indication. Trading punches with the 980ti is about exactly where it belongs with essentially identical price point. IMO this card should have came out before the 980ti and I am willing the guess the 980ti was meant to be a response from Nvidia afterward. If this is the end for AMD consider never upgrading or playing games on PC again...not that there's anything wrong with that. The low performance at sub 4k is alarming, but typical of AMD vs Nvidia, however this time the tech was switched. Nvidia went with higher quantity, AMD have newer ram. If anything this shows HBM have very good efficiency able to trade blow for blow with 6+gb of ddr. This is a fine upgrade for AMD line of card, maybe a price adjustment will happen and things will settle down a bit more. Also based on some limited data (I don't know if I trust this too much...) crossfire fury x stacks up very well against even SLI Titan, but still typical of AMD's past behavior on usually superior scaling. Plus there's also the monitor price war between freesync vs gsync.

In vanilla only fortify destruction potion increases magic damage. The enchantment only cuts spell cost. Skill level only decrease cost, up to about ~40% at 100. All magic branch skills behave the same way. Funny enough I never spend point in magicka when level. It is always health or stamina. When spell cost is at zero all that investment goes to waste. Health if you want to win, stamina for "technically best" and convenience.

I wouldn't say mages get weak and weaker, but rather their progression is awkward to say the least. They start out ok, but then dip down as spell cost becomes an issue. It is a race for enchanting to get cost back down to 0. From that point on everything is fine again. Leveling Alteration and Illusion is a non issue with 0 cost, getting stealth, dragonhide, magic resist, detect life/death, paralyze, etc. Spamming shock spell with Impact is easy mode with no leading target, benefit of range, and stagger to boot. Mages can get rolling and faster than physical as long as you are willing to sit down and grind that enchanting, but physical progression feels more natural and logical and sky rocket at the end. I should test and see how much this progression will be for physical; skip smithing and rely on enchantments and all. I think a way to help mages is to have the cost reduction of perk, skill level, and fortify enchantment be addition instead of multiply. That way with perk and 100 skill the reduction would be ~90% then and a small all spell reduction or one fortify for each tree could easily bring everything down to zero.

Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
afa replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
Well err whatever it is I don't think this is the direction this thread will want go. Can't say for others, but I think I sort of understand what it is when a sandbox game starts to get too "personal" or too much "personality" with the main character which hamper the free form style. I have said in the past that I come to Bethesda's game for a different experience than others games. And I too would not want that sandbox feel taken away from me. But for me a sandbox will be a sandbox, as much as I like messing around with it Bethesda game to me have never been "This is my *x number* favorite game". Bluntly put what I want in a "game" game is a finely crafted story with characters, personalities, narrative experience, and there are quite a few of those out there. However these are qualities that are the exact opposite of what I want in a Bethesda game. What Bethesda offers is a sandbox that has just enough set up for the world and atmosphere and let mods direct where it goes, which as far as I am concern the ONLY one out there. So for me this is a crossroad. What I see is FO4 might start to walk down the path from a sandbox to a game that I might like, but for it to do that I will lose my ONLY sandbox. -
Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
afa replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
You don't know how my FO character rolls! I do get what you mean about choosing a mate versus born into a family. However if games want to pull heartstrings I feel like familial ties and marriage are both viable choice. If FO3 wasn't too heavy handed with it I don't see how they can't handle this any different. Although I am still thinking there might be a twist with the whole sculpting both parents and have the kid auto generated...seems too much work for something that is just going to get thrown away, but at the same time I don't think they'll just put that out there with "hey go look for your wife and kids!" as your first quest. -
End game physical damage could be nearly if not exceed 2000 per hit. Scaling of one hand, two hand, and archery from 1 to 100 is 1 to 1.5x off base weapon. 5/5 of each starter perk gives 2x off base weapon on top of that. Smithing growth is linear meaning same smithing skill will give the same bonus to an iron sword vs a daedric sword. After all that you get fortify enchantment to one hand, two hand and archery that boost their damage while fortify magic gives decrease cost. Potion can add on top of that if you want. But they are subject to armor reduction. I don't know how much armor creatures have. But at the very worst it should still hit for ~400. There are only 3 ways to boost magic damage, perks, dragonborn DLC masks, and fortify destruction potions. With dual cast you should be able to hit around ~250 with expert spells more if you use potion. high (50+) Frost and fire resist are common, fire weakness is also common, shock is only partially blocked by breton With the exception of high level dragons and unique enemies, most high level enemies have about 800 to 1400 health. With dual casting it is still manageable.

How does this differ from FO3 main storyline of looking for the PC's father?
