  1. Well, would YOU sign it?

I should be doing something else...but
  2. Ok I think we are on the same page here, but there are points that I think should be address regarding this. Critic or review is still an opinion. The line between opinion-piece, critique, or review, is imo very fine. We can quickly slide into critic of critics territory very quickly  especially in gaming and game reviews. If we can agree on that a mod is a piece of technology as you propose then I think we can extend that concept to say a game is also a piece of technology.   This is super nitpicking here but in the example proposed regarding how a critic would address an issue regarding if s/he does not like something is no different than an opinion. The reasoning that is put forth as arguments could also be subjected to interpretation. Lastly and possibility the most dangerously part, offering "solutions". Ok this is weird sounding. Offering solution seems like the be all and end all of criticism, you brought out an issue and now you offer a solution. As the old saying goes "if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem," and here is the solution done and done... Or is it? What if the solution is actually bad? What if the solution only works in the critic's head something that will satisfy the critic but not others? Now we are starting to entrench into "why you make this? do this instead" territory.   BTW the critic offering solutions and was implemented then turns out poor are true stories in gaming industry. If you are reading reviews carefully you will notice rarely does "big named published "professional" reviewers" offer a black and white solution to issues that they have with a game especially when is in preview state. They might skirt around it and offers (usually multiple) suggestions when it comes to direction.   There's also something regarding varying "skill" of a critic and I guess in this case varying skill of modders in question, but that's for another discussion
  3. First result leads to an error page on LL
  4. Now now...by that logic are we saying that only authors can be book critics? artist can be art critics? actors/directors for movies? and game developers for games and the like? and in this case modders for mods critics?
  5. I do it...for the lolz.   But anyways this answer is pretty much the long and short of it:       There are more to delve into, but maybe later.
  6. No load screens, but here step through this airlock and this unusually long elevator ride
  7. These points are well worn territory. What are being asked for here are: Transition animations (lead up, during, and in between sex/rape) Much more animation variety (so it can still be somewhat fresh) Well timed dialog and PC vs NPC response (no vanilla dialog cutting in, and appropriate dialog during animations or in between animations) Storied mod (self explanatory) Animated interaction (your butt slap example)   Generally speaking, anything with animations are hard to do, time consuming, and to really achieve the fluidity that OP asks for the needs to be lots and lots of variation of it. That's why it is lacking from outside looking it. Not to mention the glitches that happens. As for one time animation it is tricky to pull that of when it is paired I believe, meaning you can have animations that play when you interact with a static object or an animation that plays when you press a button, but to interact with an actor with directional context (butt slap has be to from behind at the correct height) it is trickier.   Dialog text are prone to disappear when they overlaps, getting rid of vanilla dialog you either go edit every NPCs or create new NPCs, both of which works with custom mods, but more tedious when you want to use vanilla NPCs in your mod (say a bandit in defeat/submit, actually defeat can get custom dialog to proc I wonder if it can get rid of vanilla dialog on demand.)   Contextual dialogs from NPCs are rare and usually single serving, there are a few mods that does it, Devious More Quest, fill her up, Cursed Loot, deviously enslaved, SD+. Only Devious More Quest went and started a reputation system for PC and NPCs, sadly it is unfinish.   As for story mods... well ratio of work involve vs play time is something to think about. Go try Dark Investigation and Get Stripped Again.   Also I have zero interests of a mod that pushes its pressure and risk to the player. To me it is always about the characters that are on screen.
  8. I thought the piercing magic effect is to simulate the character's nipples and vagina have been pierced, as in they have holes poked through them which doesn't really go away even after the piercings are removed.   Also you get 1 health bonus for each of the pierced magic effect Which is a bonus I guess, but they also messes up my calculations when I forget about them.
  9. [Idea/Req] Spiked Potions for Sexlab

To make it blend in, it has to work base on % chance to trigger when PC drink a potion, maybe base on arousal. To give the illusion that the PC packed a bad apple in inventory and just happen to pick that one. Can totally see something like this happening in cursed loot or skooma whore.
  10. Don't know much about what the same engine means or how much they can change. But any idea of what DirectX would they have this time around? They got to be able to go beyond 9 this time right? And to me the more concerning thing of using the same engine is will it be as big of a cpu hog as it is now? Graphics and lighting can be somewhat improve through mods and enb (hopefully...), but optimization is something else.
  11. Archery Tips?

Bound Bow with mystic binding is a strong choice for quick leveling, but it takes a little time to get the spell which smithing could compensate and more useful in the long run. Since you have a crossbow I am guessing you have Dawnguard so you have relatively easy access to Zephyr and Auriel's Bow at the end. Go with fortify archery and fortify sneak enchantments.   Do the standard smithing/alchemy/enchanting, level up your archery/sneak as you go. You will likely pick light armor for sneak benefit early on, but with enough sneak it doesn't really matter.
  12. Ah shame, conceptually this is one of my favorite DD mods, in fact I think the fame/reputation system goes beyond that of DD territory and tries to tackle something that few mods have.
  13. I think you are suppose to teleport to bannered mare if you pray to gods.
  14. SexLab Skooma Whore

Yep that's the guy, and I saw his room too, everything is not tagged as stolen, but he was chasing me out of the entire Ratway in general not just his room nor the skooma bar/brothel. Also not sure if it is related, but there's a guy that is tied up who has a similar name in Riften Jarl's room. I don't know if it is from this mod or another.   Edit: The tied up guy is from another mod, likely not related
  15. Isn't Oblivion the first voiced TES? The lines and voice actors were limited, even after the expansion of Skyrim it still feels a little limited after a while. Then again that's probably all game of this type. Not sure how FO4 will handle that. Personally I don't really care much for voice acting in a Bethesda rpg style game. I might actually lean towards not having it, but in the scale of "meh" to "this is a crime against humanity", it is definitely on the meh side of things.
  16. Sounds a little similar to how Part of Skooma Whore behaves. Maybe you should look at that.
  17. ...I have been using that as sneak animation for the longest time, heck I even change the regular running to an faster on all four animation from the old beastess mod. You know for science.
  18. What To Do With Upgrading PC?

Hard to say what will happen. Get a new video card and see what happens. If it works good. If it doesn't buy everything else also.
  19. SexLab Skooma Whore

Nope, this particular save doesn't even have defeat. Is the asking to leave normal or if he should gets aggressive?
  20. SexLab Skooma Whore

Having this odd issue with the guy (boss?) in Ratway asking PC to leave as if trespassing, but it doesn't seems like he ever gets aggressive or place any bounty.
  21. Is the locking item in a chest actually implement? I have yet to see that happening. Same with regard to bringing PC to bandit hide out?   Also funny things happen if I have a follower around. The mod will more than likely pick the follower as the aggressor
  22. Request Your Mods From Me

I never quite get how a virginity mod would work. Think about it. Everything about it would be in relation to an one time event. How would that come into play before and after and is the permanence aspect of it really gameplay friendly?
  23. Since you are already vampire and have invested in restoration this might not take that long. Get Necromage perk. Ideally you want to get the perk before you become a vampire not sure if you did that already. You can always get cure, get the perk, then get Serana to bite you. With Necromage perk and while a vampire, level Alteration to 100 to get Atronach perk, then go to to the Atronach stone and make that your standing stone. magic regen penalty could be troublesome without enchantments, but now you are basically immune to magic.   Get smithing up to the point you max armor and then buff your weapon as much as you can with whatever enchanting/alchemy/smithing you have.
  24. mmm I actually don't know about able to pick what will happen to the PC. It makes more sense for the bandit or whatever enemy it turns out to be pick whatever they want to do with the PC base on conditions, parameters, and chances(maybe...?) I can totally understand and get behind avoiding tedious aspects, but I don't think say...letting the player pick the easy way out every time to get things over quickly is an ideal approach.   Either way I am looking foward to it. Submit's death prevention code is the most reliable that I have seen.
