  1. Both are great games and I'm not sure myself.

Keep this in mind though about mass effect; you're only getting mass effect 1 and 2.  What happens when you beat the 2nd one?  By that time you may be pretty immersed and pysched for the game but... you still gotta save up for ME 3 XD  Just a thought cause I know I really enjoyed all the games and having to wait for the releases of the next one to continue the story sucked for me personally.

BUT honestly.  I'm just as divided as you.  So I'll do what I always do in such important decisions... flip a coin.

...Mass effect.  The coin has spoken and thus is my vote!

  2. What is sad to me is what may happen to future owners or people that turn to mods.  Yes, I know that Skyrim is pretty old by now and that there may not be many that are new to mods and the like.  But there will always be those few that decide to get the game because it goes on sale (like this weekend for instance on steam), and they or others that may decide to try out mods, get on steam workshop or wherever, see this new system, and then think "Oh.  This is the norm" when it didn't always used to be this way; when many of the mods that go up on sale may have been free once simply by signing up on nexus or whatever.

It could totally cement this system more, and I only cringe at the thought of what would happen when the next fallout comes out or elder scrolls come out.

Yep thats right the guy who created Midas Magic mod added a ad pop up into his older version that asks people to but the mod every time they cast a spell.

The link didn't work for me sadly.  Possible the author took it down or steam or someone complained, etc.  Sad if it was steam/valve simply because they don't want it getting out there.  But whether or not it was them, I don't know.

Either way, if that's true, that's just... sad and annoying.  The idea of ads now popping up randomly from mods whenever I play Skyrim already makes me feel frustrated and annoyed despite that not even being the case as of right now.  Internet itself is bad enough with ads and the like; please for the love of all things good and right, do not make my skyrim world like such.  -_-

EDIT: BAH... just looking at that screenshot... ARGH!!!

  5. Story I do like.  But personally for me, I like more... being the slaver?  (wow that sounded messed up).  A lot of slavery mods focus more on the aspect of becoming a slave; I'd like some more that would focus a bit more on the actual player being the slaver in a sense.  Training, breaking, using for money possibly.  Things like that.  And yes, I know there are a few that do that but none that seem to be very well... organized, or consistently updated? (other then Sex Slaves!)  I just feel something missing, hard to explain what persay.

  6. Granted.  But in the process of gaining such it has a horrible side affect and you start to physically grow younger as you grow older thus making things extrememly complicated!

  7. My avatar is pretty straightfoward.  A random anime Samurai I found online that I liked.  Long hair, confident look, totally able to handle a sword and own anyone that would try to stop him.  The opposite of me really.  :P

True reason I chose a samurai though was their sense of honor and commitment; something I really admire and try to keep and do in my own life.  Far from perfect on that but I try my best to keep that in all aspects of life.  Probably a bit deeper reasoning then most have behind their avatar but meh.  Just answering the question!

  8.

Another great Star Trek: TNG quote. One that sadly, hits far too close to home.

"I think, when one has been angry for a very long time, one gets used to it. And it becomes comfortable like... like old leather. And finally... it becomes so familiar that one can't remember feeling any other way."

    - Jean-Luc Picard

I like it.  I think tha can apply to a lot of emotions, not just anger.

Its saturday and I dont' have to work.  Sun is out, and I don't have much to do.  Its going to be a good day.
