  1. First off, allow me to say that I think this looks amazing.  You've done an incredible amount of work for other people, and only because of this thread am I starting to understand how the HDT stuff is actually set up.  In case you don't get enough thank yous, let me add another.

     

    Now on to my question.  I've added in Main, and Addons 1, 3 and 4.  I believe I have everything else working appropriately (SL, MNC, FNIS, etc) with one exception.  For some reason, I'm getting a "?" on the creature idles check of SL itself, when I try and activate it, and hence haven't been able to test out any of the animal animations.  I've done the whole scroll in and out of 3rd person thing, no luck.  My other MO profiles I've been able to activate creature animations without issue, only this particular setup is giving me issues.  I can throw up my load order, but I'm wondering if anyone has an idea first.

  2. Here's a good one for ya.  Why is the 2.0 file so much larger than the 4.1 file?  Should I download both and overwrite the older one?

     

    The 2.0 version also includes the old versions of the slider information, which isn't yet ready for the new version.

    But you can see that if you open up the archive file.  As was mentioned above, the new version only has the meshes (at least at the moment).  I'm sure our good author/artist/whipping boy *ahem* I mean His Most Excellent Mighty Orangeness, will have them done in short order.

  3. No the point of CITRUS is for players to download CITRUS Slide (Basically an edited version of Bodyslide) tweak sliders to their content to get a body setting they want.

     

    The sliders for CITRUS will be based off of other body mods shapes but will not be perfect matches for any number of reasons. So if you want EXACTLY 7base/UNPB/UNP etc... you might as well just download and use those bodies. But if your okay with tweaking things and wanting some variations etc... then this is geared towards you.

     

    There will be conversion sliders available for people to convert outfits as well in a later date.

     

    This question keeps getting asked, and I keep getting tired of answering it so I've added it to OP for newcomers.

     

    This is exactly the type of thing I was looking for many moons ago (chatting with Blabba no less).  I'm a big fan of the Dream Girl base shape for example, but I've always had a problem with both the UNP and earlier CBBE bodies for their oddly curved spinal shapes ("spine" not skeleton - specifically kyphosis and lordosis issues).  Most of these are pretty easily fixable with some tweaks to the sliders in the right places - assuming those sliders exist in the right places.  This kind of body is the way for me to take what I love and make it that much better.

     

    Plus, I can then build an armor mod I'd want to see, wrap it around this body, and viola it'll work for anyone (assuming I did a halfway decent job and the thing isn't too bloody complicated).

Well I think you could just require the use of the full skeleton that they do, and then just hang the appendages you want off of the wing bones in a similar fashion as the wings are arranged.  It would just take some rearrangement of the weighting and positioning I would think - not that I've played with it, but I think that's what the extra bones are there for.


     


    Obviously you'd have a conflict preventing the player from also acquiring wings - or playing as a member of the succubus race for that matter. - but tradeoffs are tradeoffs.


     


    Alternatively, send a message over to Groovtama - our resident skeleton expert (and current maestro/crafter/guru of the XPMSE) about what you'd want and he'd be happy to make suggestions.

    2. Ahh yea seams.... They were put in those awkward positions because I need to match them to UNP style seams. And unfortunately CITRUS topology and UNP topology just isn't the same. I guess when I get time I can 'properly' do them again in mudbox later to make the transitions smoother. However the awkward vertices their have to stay to match UNP seams. Unless people are willing to compromise and let me come up with my own smoother seams (because you know, more vertices on the edges than any other body) that wouldn't match existing putfits with gauntlets and boots.

     

    Well, that will make a couple of the items I was making, a little odd, but I'll manage.  I'd finally gotten pretty good with the garment maker tool for "shrinkwrapping" things in place - like certain kinds of bracers, leggings, panties, and whatnot.  Shrinking items into place around the wrists and ankles might make for some unusual shapes - but I think a bit of smoothing on the shell modifier might compensate for it.  I'll have to play with it and see how things turn out.

     

    The harder part is going to be re-visualizing this particular mod on a much more slender frame.  While it makes it MUCH, MUCH easier to build (you have no idea how much easier it will be - I was having nightmares curving straps around the beta-version's larger breasts), the images I am working from have two particularly busty females used as models.  They happened to match up with the beta pretty nicely - so at least I knew where the straps went - even if my path deformation skills were somewhat lacking in application.

     

    Thanks for the info/update.  I'm off to learn more about FFD and applying it to a helix.

Well, what I did was open up the meshes in 3ds - cause I've been waiting to take a look at this for a while.  Since the great computer crash of '14 (wherein I lost my whole mod) I've been tinkering and learning so that I might do a better job with the next version.  And I've been hoping to release it as an "all from scratch mod for the new Citrus body."


     


    Of course the new Alpha looks completely different than the previous Beta.  Obviously much slimmer, but others have already commented on that.  But then I started to notice little things that looked, well, odd.


     


    #1 - should the 100 weight breasts look well exactly the same size as the 0 weight version?  I know that this is meant for bodysliding other armor sets around, but if someone were to make something from scratch, the two weight sets are so close as to be essentially the same.  Or did I miss something?  See the following, 0 weight on left, 100 on right:

    #2 - as for the seams that others are mentioning, I think the problem can be seen here in these two images.  As before, the 0 weight is on the left and the 100 weight is on the right.  The first image shows the wrists, and the second image shows the ankles.

    While not as "explodey" (that's a technical term) as in the previous poster's image, I'm seeing a pronounced ring of what appear to be misplaced vertices in both weights.  It's especially noticeable in the 100 weight variant.  They may not be misplaced, but they sure do look odd anyway.

    Oh boy, maybe I shouldn't have even posted my original nifskope review.  To be honest, I did read the readme (I always do), but I didn't realize that you (Dixiepig) had thrown it together just for the screenshots and hadn't planned on using that for the actual armor mod.  Now it looks like several people are following up on that line of inquiry.  So, oops!   :s


     


    For what it is worth people, as our esteemed author has said, ignore the "monsterfull" version, and focus your reviews and investigations on the smaller "monster" files.

  8. Well, I downloaded it to give it a quick look over in nifskope and I see an immediate problem.  Specifically reviewing the two "monsterfull" files, there are a couple of mismatches between the files, and I noticed they aren't the same file size.  So that is likely the problem.


     


    Node 30_1 is named monster_0, while Node 30_0 is named monster_0.phallus


     


    Node 35_1 is named monster_0.arm, while the _0 weight side is Node 37 and named bone.002


     


    Node 44_1 is named NPC L Butt, while Node 44_0 is named NPC L Upperarm Twist1 [LUt1]


     


    I haven't dived into the NiTriShapes themselves yet - but right off the bat, there's likely the culprit.


     


     


     


    Update:


     


    44_1 is the body, while it's 30_0 on the other side


     


    30_1 is the spine and upper tentacles, while it's 44_0 in the second nif


     


    and finally 35_1 is the remaining tentacles, while it is 37_0 in the other.


     


    so they also aren't in the right order.  If you were trying the scaling using the "full" files, yeah you would have issues.   :P


     


    I opened the regular nifs in 3ds max (I haven't used blender in a while) and they seem to be okay so far, but I've only been looking for 5 minutes.  Those files at least don't seem to have the naming issues and are closer in file size (meaning the two weight nif files are approximately the same file size).  But then they also only have the single tentacle nodes and no bodies attached.

    Maybe there will be a Testicle Parasite though I don't know if I would want something squeezing my balls like they are squeezing the breasts. Though I guess it could be like a parasite and the more it is on the player the tighter it gets if you don't find a way to remove it and once it get to max maybe a messages pops up saying *Pop goes the weasels* and then the player falls to the ground and dies. Or something like that.

     

    Or maybe something like in the movie Prometheus where the android infects one of the archaeologists and his girfriend gets pregnant with an early version of a face hugger.

    Well see now all you are doing is trying to make it really legitimate - not that, that is necessarily a bad thing ... it's just, come on!  Testicle crushing we're talking about.  I'm all about the turn about is fair play thing.  You want the male characters to be bound up and violated.  All good with me.

This is going to sound like the most stupid suggestion ever, but humor me.  Occasionally the CK has an error on uploading modded armors, and instead of sticking in the _0 weight version or the _1 weight version where you would expect to, reverse them.  For some reason it fixes the average weight scaling issue.  This seems to be the issue when the game shows one armor version for all weights except at say 100%.  And unfortunately it isn't consistent.  Before my machine crashed and caused me to lose my mod, I had 7 armor pieces made.  Of those, I think I had to reverse load 2 of them to get proper interpolation (scaling).


     


    I was just tweaking the skirt on mine (I had some clipping) when the whole machine blew up on me, but you can at least give it a try.  Takes about 5 minutes of tweaking the CK loading and retesting.  If it works viola!  If not, cross that off the list and move on to the next idea.   :D

    Seriously though, it looks amazing, and inspired me to get back to work on rebuilding the mod I lost when my computer fried itself (very long and painful story).

  12. I know this is overly specific but does anybody know of any good Harleqin/Jester-Themed outfits beside the ones of Nexus which are basically only retextures of cicero's clothes?

     

    There are a few of them.  The Harley Follower mod on nexus is pretty well done, completely voice acted, and sounds excellent, but you are right, it is based on a retex of cicero.

     

    Then there is http://modtype.doorblog.jp/archives/13559458.html if you want the Arkham City variant of Harley's outfit.

     

    Someone on here (LL) has a slightly more risque version of Harley's outfit that's basically hentai and bondage.  While I've got a copy of the mod someplace, I didn't keep the link active since it's a little too "modified" for my taste.  Harley's breasts really shouldn't float up around her neck like that - at least imho.     And I'm in the process myself of making a New 52 themed variant.  It was almost done, but the corset has "issues" (read that as it doesn't like remaining attached while in combat).  I'm also still adjusting color intensity and checking for clipping.  Since I don't have that much free time, it'll be a bit longer yet, but I'm getting there.  (It'll even come with one or two free adjusted hair styles as a bonus).

  14. Since I just taunted Monsto with a horrible rendition of Gollum over in another thread I figured I better come post here to make up for it.   :D


     


    I'll not bother with an expanded version of the avatar pic, since it's perfectly viewable and recognizable as Harley Quinn.  And yes, I'm one of those hopeless fanboys.  Sue me.  However, unlike most of them, I don't want her to be sweet and innocent and "oh so perfect and misunderstood".  She's a psychopath; twisted, dark, psychotic, and perfectly willing to kill you if you get in-between her and what she wants.  "That's" what makes her interesting.  The fact that she's hot and cute is just bonus.


     


    Hence, I'm perfectly willing to accept all the costume changes over the years and have no problem with the New 52 "super hooker" version of her in the suicide squad.


     


    As for the name/handle, been using it for almost 20 years on every forum that will take one and isn't professional/job related.  Comes from my college days as the longest running D&D character I ever played.

    Then look specifically at "4-HAIRPACK BY MayMay1588" and open it up.  Look at the hair chart and scroll down to the bottom row, middle right.

     

    It might not be exactly the same hair, but it is awfully close looking.  I'm thinking this is the one he was modifying for his character in the video I mentioned - hence the reason I thought I had seen it before.  Anyway, best I can do for you.

    Yes, and I even know where I've seen it before, but unfortunately I can't link it anymore.  The hairstyle was specifically featured on TirexiHD's youtube video for "Skyrim Hair Editing Tutorial 3dsMax" which I was planning to link here.  But apparently he's taken the video down in favor of showing off his other more impressive 4K stuff.  As I remember, the hairstyle was one of the "Sims" hairs that has been imported into Skyrim, but I just went through the entire hairpack I have with the "coolsims" hairs included (it also contains some other hairs like Evy, Peggy, Hepsy and Cazy, and it isn't in any of those (I looked at all the meshes under nifskope just to be sure).

     

    But I know for a fact it was the one he included in the tutorial, because of how he modified the hair to remove one of the forelocks and how it extended down past the cheek just like in this pic.

     

    I'll keep looking for it, but no guarantees.

  17. Is there a mod to make whole of skyrim fantasy green vibrant like oblivion?

     

    If you are meaning to give it a whole jungle-type feel, then yes.  Look for the tropical skyrim mods over on nexus.  There is the main mod itself, and then several add-ons that have been made that change other aspects of the general feel as well - like armor, replacing mammoths with elephants, sabercats with tigers, adding in more herds of wild horses, etc.

     

    I've used it and quite liked it.  It really makes the jungles/forests quite thick and imposing.  Obviously would be silly to combine with any of the "wintery" mods like frostfall, cloaks of skyrim and such, but excellent for all the skimpy armor packs.

     

    The only problem I had with it is that some of the plant growth additions and retextures made some of the narrow caves tough to navigate, since suddenly there is a new tree in the middle of the tunnel.  But all in all it is an excellent conversion.

  18. I just got the Skyrim DLC's and this request focuses on Dawnguard. I have no experience with Vampires in Skyrim as I never had much need to be one but now that I have Dawnguard that's changed.

     

    I'm wondering if Vampires suffer the same issues they did in Oblivion where becoming one totally ruined any customization you put into your character's face and if that's the case, can anyone link me to a mod that eliminates this issue? I want my character to remain the same as when I made it when becoming a vampire.

     

    Also your favorite Vampire Related mods are welcome as well. :) I recently got When Vampires Attack and Better Vampires as they seem to be pretty fun, but yeah, my main worry is what I described above.

     

    Better Vampires has an option in it to prevent your character from changing overly much.  The only thing that you can't really prevent is the eye change.  Once you change you'll get the new vampire eyes.  However, my customized character still looks just as pretty before and after.  Just keep in mind the yellow glowing eyes and you'll be fine.

     

    Also, if you are using a custom race, and you want to use the better vampire scripts correctly, there can be conflicts.  If you've got them working correctly, then don't worry about it.  Each time I run it and change into a vamp, I need to open the console and reset my race via -  player.setrace ningheimracevampire

     

    Otherwise the scripts never quite catch me as being undead.

  19. Hi guys, I searched high and low but it's really hard since what I'm searching you'll never find stand-alone. Anybody can point me any skirt? I use Cb++ body so anything CBBE with bodyslide it's ok. THX

     

    Are you looking for any skirt at all?  Because there are a great number of mods that have skirts in them that are capable of being worn individually.  For example:

    Look up the Assassin's Creed Harlequin and Hellequin mods. They should be on mod type. I believe one of those two have a ruffled collar.

     

     

    Thanks for the suggestions.  I looked at both (harelquin on mod type, hellequin on mod zone) but neither had a ruffled collar - although, making me find the hellequin mod gave me a link to mod zone, which for zone reason I didn't have before, so that is good.

     

    Unfortunately, I think I'll have to make do with my own attempt, which looks like this:

    Unfortunately you need to change each NPC via a chat option, but once you change them they are changed.  The chat option is fairly unobtrusive after you've used it a while, although annoying for the first bit - especially if you use the KB to complete chats rather than mousing.

     

    However, it comes built in with 90% to 95% of the bodytypes and textures out there for both males and females, and is a good way to test different combinations in game and on the fly.  The author even included instructions on tweaking/modifying the mod if you want to change out a bodytype or texture you aren't using with one he didn't include - such as putting in the LB3 mesh (which he didn't include) in place of say CBPE.

     

    However, since it uses a letter/number coding system (there are a ton of different combos if you think about it), you'll want to save/print the cross-reference sheet.

     

    You may also want to combine it with the standard "no more bronze glow" and other such "beautification" mods as you see fit.  He also did not include additional facial textures for the PC, but all seem to be compatible.
