Thanks for your updates and responses, always good to know a mod maker is willing take feedback and improve/change stuff. As I said on your wip topic, I like this house, not too small, and not overly big. Every room has its usage and I intend to keep this as a main mod for my skyrim. If anyone has any ideas, or offers to help doing a quest or such to get the house please help out.

Leave the house, save. Exit skyrim and load that save while your outside, go in and try opening it again. I had to do that on my test and it worked.

Ok, so decided to try this one out, think I had it before maybe a year or so ago /shrug. I can get all the quests to work right except when I first started the Military Camp one. She tells me to make sure and bring warm clothes then the dialogue just sits there with no quest given/updated. Anyone else have this bug? -
JMathers, just to test it out I have been using Dialogues mod while I test this, and so far have found no problems wih the dialogue not showing up. As the new stuff gets added I will keep testing the 2 out. Just curious how or when that mod will conflict with this one. Maybe if all goes well and others test the 2 mods out with completed version it won't be a conflict anymore.

Again, try this on a save BEFORE Civil War quest line has been done. That or load a new game just to try this one out.

[WIP] Furniture Interaction Framework - for NPCs and Player

Hmm, maybe we can get another modder to help with some tweaking of furniture used by this mod in order to make it " sexlab compatable? " As in make certain types of furniture like tables clear of mugs, candles, food per once section of them and have the animations trigger and that spot? Doing Lydia from behind againts a post in the Whiterun Inn would be great. Maybe incorporate the " Followers can relax " mod I seen on nexus a while back that can make Lydia sit down at the bar stool and you take her from behind while she is sitting? -
Keep posting ideas and stuff like this, he will take a look at them. It may or may not be added, heck it may be added in just a bit different then that way. I personally like this idea of becoming an investment partner of the mansion. I mean how do you explain most of the " additions " later on if she only has so much money she needs the cheapest land lot? Say later on to prove your interested you need to hand her 5000g to help " expand " the mansion to include the basement. Or better yet, for each donation of money given to her it unlocks another section of the basment in order for more animal cells/holdings? Lets say you end up getting the dog, horse, wolf, hell even a bear. You are now out of room in your mansion to hold more animals, what are you to do? Talk to Thaena about expanding the business to include more animals. But what kind? Maybe go talk to the " horny, slightly crazy " horse seller at Makarth since he went all crazy on you in the orginal when first getting a horse. I bet he would have an idea of people with " pets " the mansion could aquire. Then on after every 4 types of animal/creature the mansion gets you have to help expand the mansion. Pay for adjacent buildings to house a troll, yet tall enough for a giant and for a dragon. I mean how the hell you gonna get a giant and dragon into the basement?! I would like to see an extra optional download to include npc's in other holds/towns other then where the Mansion is at commenting on how " hey I know you, your that one from the Mansion near Falkreath!" " Hey, how much is it to see you with a trolll!!!" Stuff like that would be cool. It would add immersion in a way that the rest of Skyrim actually does hear about the mansion, could be used as an excuse to " expand the business into other holds " part he is thinking about. Anyway I just got off work, so lots of ideas going through my mind. You have all made good and decent points about things, just make sure and reference your posts/ideas to JMathers so he can take a look, in the end though its up to him to decide if he wants to add/change anything.

Most golden saints were tied to Azura, per ES:3 Morrowind lore at the time. In ES:4 Oblivion the lore was expanded upon to include some other Daedric Princes. I had always thought the Azura quest in Skyrim should have had a showing of some Golden Saints retreaving the star from you upon the return to her shrine, but eh thats just me. -
1. Some things people post may be a bit rushed because they do not understand the EXACT concept someone is trying to come across with. Not everyone here is perfect with understand everyones base/first language. " Whining " may have been a bit harsh to some, but to those who took it as meant for them should have responded in a message or post back to JMathers explaining in exact wording how/why you are having trouble and try to keep it as civil as possible, then end it with a " if I come off to you as whining then I am sorry, was not intended that way. " 2. JMathers has staited earlier and in past posts in the original topic that his version would be different then the original mod. He has a good idea of how he wants to do it, but he IS WILLING to listen to those fans of his and the original mod on how to tweak stuff or include more things. Just because there is not MCM menu with a " skip opening quests " yet does not mean he will not add one in later. I mean come on, you don't even have a mansion right now, why be asking for a " skip ahead " when you have nothing to skip ahead too? 3. He intends to give almost ALL of the npc's working at this mansion at least some small background as to how and why they are working there. Remember Jala? She just wanted a job, then thought helping with the " work " would be different and fun and boom, there she is doing it along with the PC. That was fun and all, but why was she that interested in the first place? Why did she need work? And for someone who, before she actually started working cleaning there, was " shocked " watching Thaena getting busy with her dog would do a complete 180 and start doing it herself? Those kinds of things he wants to add in and let you understand those npc's within this mod. His Immersive Animal Mansion Redux! 4. The more who test out and respond back about their bugs, or dislike of something ( keep those as civil as possible ) the more he has to go on. People staited they felt the search area for the hunter was too large, it kinda was....ok it WAS, he listened and decreased it from almost 1/3 of skyrim to I would say about 1/8 now. We don't have a full mod at this moment, no its still a WIP you could say. He has a lot of the mod going but he has to find why a lot of his alias' are not going off sometimes, so this is coming out in segments. The original mod has been left up as per the orginal mod makers decision. If someone has a complete dislike of how this is going, perhaps try your hand at making it yourself? Just remember the orginal and this Redux will conflict with each other so you can't have both going at the same time.

Maybe have the innkeeper lady from Old Hroldin inn give quest to player that since the current owner of the house has not paid off her debts she sis now gonna pay it back another way. Maybe make her a slave, and in turn for " doing this favor " for the innkeeper she gives you ownership of the house , given you bring the " slave " back every once in a while for her to enjoy? I don't know, could go with something lighter as well.

I like it, not too bid, and not oo small. A quest to " get " the house would be cool. Did find one problem, was testing the zaz stuff out and the x-cross once made my character fall through the world was funny though.

Looking good! Btw, take your time getting back to top shape of your health and trying to work on this, don't feel rushed to get the new version out. Would rather wait longer for it and It go well, then you try to get it done quick and maybe miss something along the way. Btw, how many shots they say its gonna take? I would think that after the 3rd they would wait a good while to see how your progressing. -
As far as crafting, maybe make the base/main version with NO crafting stuff at all but add an optional download of them? For those that want them /shrug. Will try out your home you got going. Just got off work though so gonna sleep will let you know what I think later on. Creepy mini manneqins walking/moving about? KEEP THEM! Think about it, you put some steel armor on your display manneqin and go into the main area and sit to eat you get up afterwards and there it is looking at you in the doorway from the back room ........

MCM menu lets you skip the gathering quests. And the mod author stated he/she wished to do the rest of the mod as private. And left the current version up as is. What happened between then and now I am not sure, all I know is that people were not treating that mod author well so they felt the need to make it private.

First off, the updated mod's quest line in your journal WILL say Dawnstar. If you have updated correctly ( clean save and or start a new game just to run and test this mod ) it will end up showing Dawnstar and Northshore. Hint wise, there is a very good one within the journal text itself " Dawnstar and Northshore " means that yes Dawnstar is a port town but the npc is a hunter so would 90% of the time NOT be within the town, would be out hunting. Using the quest text itself, there should be no reason your going further inland then the actual town's surrounding area. JMathers did decrease the area BY A LOT compaired to when I first found her. Mayhap if you still have trouble finding her ask JMathers in a message politely if he would point you in the correct direction. He does not want it to be posted on the topic of the actual location so try to do what he says on that part.

First hint given in the game for quest is " Dawnstar " , second is " Northernshores area ". North, East, South, West, are all the directionals set for this quest. And as the quest will show in your log it does not completely state " where " nor give a marker, this was built to be like that. Now for an extra hint, the npc IS A HUNTER, therefore has to be relatively far enough away from the town to not get in trouble with the guards for " poaching " yet close enough to sell her wares if need be. Btw, I would suggest http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14976/? to go with this quests " un marked quest objectives. " That mod itself builds map markers on a lot more locations in Skyrim, will help you out when it comes to fast travel.

People are impatient to " get to the animals! ", but don't realise if we don't bug test the first part leading to it, all the unfound bugs could crash the mod or give ctd. So the more bugs we find the less we have to deal with once full version comes out.

Which actual part, the " finding prices " or the part where you return to her and tell her the price, but quest doesn't advance? In order for him to help you he will need to know exactly what part you are at.
