  Hard to say. Judging by the hips it's not a "normal" child race, none I've seen. It could just be a Nord or ygNord with (what appears to be) a UNP body, height set low and the face built in ECE or RaceMenu.   You can change skeletons, body meshes and textures with child races, though. So this one is anyone's guess. You'd have to ask the person who made it.

  I've played game for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and W7 all on Windows7 with no issues whatsoever. I still love W7, it's hard to beat.  

I use Demonica so I'd find it useful. Not sure about permissions, but there are some Demonica conversions here on LL already.

  Skykids would be your best bet these days. It's got the most support, is (in my opinion) better looking than others, it's the most stable of the child replacers, and it has a cool armor patcher that allows the child races to wear all the armors/clothes you have installed.   It adds playable children of all races (plus Monli) and changes all the other children in the game. And there are two available replacers with different appearances.

For many standalone followers you'll have to look into their folders for their head nif to modify.

  Look at the left pane. Check that there is no lightning bolt beside the skeleton. If there is, and there's a minus sign, you found the problem. Just double click the skeleton mod in the left pane, a new window opens, choose the conflicts tab and then whatever is overwriting the skeleton needs to be dragged and dropped into a location above it in the list.   If this isn't the case then are you using a custom race? If not then uninstall both the body mesh and the skeleton then reinstall them from good archives.

  Not sure. But I know that Mod Organizer will throw a flag if there's an issue and LOOT will sort it out (at worst meaning you manually place the patcher at the bottom of the list).

  I just launch LOOT inside of MO, click on "edit metadata", it loads, choose the armor patcher, then gave it a priority of 1.9 million! Now it's at the bottom of the list after a LOOT sort and it only took maaayybe 30 seconds to do it.   MO also has that option itself. You place it low and lock the LO if you wanted. Or you could probably apply it to the built in LOOT that MO has. although I haven't tried that myself.  

Not sure of the EFFdialogue.esp being needed. Unless you're using EFF in your game.

  Why preferred? LOOT does exactly what it should do (as long as you move the patcher to the bottom). That might only be because I'm still using the original LOOT and haven't updated it. BOSS is nearly unusable for anything else these days (too many mods not on the user list) and is basically obsolete since LOOT can be tweaked for SK just like you had to with BOSS, but it's simpler to do. And MO allows you to manually give the patcher the lowest position in the LO, too.   I honestly found it so much easier to install and get working this time with MO and LOOT than I did the first time I did it using manual/NMM installs and BOSS (and the userlist edits). It took not even half the time to have up and running.

I assume you're using Nexus Mod Manager then? There are a couple better alternatives, but they both require a bit more work to operate that comes with a learning curve. I personally find Mod Organizer to the best fit for me and I believe it would be best for most users honestly. The downside? Fresh install if you want to change over. So if the extra learning and reinstallation aren't what you want to do then stick with NMM for now.   I'm not really sure how best to install SK into Skyrim using NMM, though. It shouldn't be too hard since SK doesn't overwrite that much.    

Kuupe, run LOOT to order up your mods then be sure that the patcher .esp is lower in the plugins list than the armors you want patched. Then run the patcher.

  You need a small number of posts before you can post pics or attach files. You'll be able to soon, as I think it's only like 5 posts or something.   What mod manager are you using? Did you make sure you downloaded and installed all the required stuff? Did you run LOOT or BOSS before running the patcher?

If you did a reinstall and moved everything to MO then you need to go to documents/my games/Skyrim and delete that entire folder. You can run the vanilla launcher just once to generate a new one that is fresh and clean with all the old bugs gone.   With FNIS be sure that the generated files are going into the "overwrite" folder at the bottom of the left pane.

Lost Vigil (or close, but far enough away not to screw up "The Ebony Warrior") would be a cool place for a house. There's enough open space there to place a mansion with giant hot tubs. Good screenshot location.

Not sure what the outfit is called. But I do use SkyKids in one of my MO profiles, and any armor I run through the SK armor patcher becomes available for child races.
