  1. You can add a custom body (UNP and its variants or CBBE, even BodySLide to make your own) then you'll be nude when undressed. And far better looking than the vanilla body. Go to the Nexus and shop around for a nude body replacer. There are several to choose from.

You could keep the vanilla body and make sure the nude suit option is ticked in SexLab, but you'll only have a non-vanilla body during SL animations that way.

  2. Search Nexus. There are thousands of them and I don't know what you are looking for. There is everything from portable homes in a bag to massive mansions/estates/castles.

Something that might be cool to incorporate into SexLab mods would be "Become High King of Skyrim" and that comes with a castle and small town, complete with a lot of characters.

  3. Alternate Start: Live Another Life. Go to Nexus and get that. It eliminates the carriage ride altogether and gives multiple start options. It's a necessity for anyone who's already played through Skyrim.

BBLS is a script hog. I'd avoid it personally. It's bugged my game out in the past and you can't even clean because the dirty edits are needed for it to work. Sad because I'd like to use it. But it can be problematic. There are tons of cool home mods that don't have issues, though.

  4. I see the difference, but its barely visible.

The double amount of polies on UUNP it it not worth. Its a waste of performance and I want to play Skyrim with hight FPS.

And you will ingame never see the difference of the poly count.

You can see the difference in in-game screenshots and during gameplay if you look. But performance is a real issue for some.

One side effect of the UUNP body, too, is that it animates better. It doesn't get as weird looking during animations (adult and non-adult both).

  5. The breasts collapse into the body? Or hands pass through them?

If they're collapsing into the body then it could be a skeleton issue. The old XPMS skeleton would do that with HDT. The XPMSE(extended) version is necessary for HDT. Also, if you choose the BBP rigged skeleton while installing it you could have issues. I haven't installed it in some time, but it's the regular rigged option if you're using HDT.

Never saw a groin issue before, unless you mean the SoS schlong just clips into the female groin during sex animations. That's normal if you aren't using a functional HDT vag, though.

  6. Run the FNIS generator after adding mods that add animations. That's it.

No need to merge the SL mods, just leave them separate. Keep an eye on MO to see if anything overwrites anything else (look for the lightning bolt and + or - beside the mod in the left pane). Move things up or down the list to get the overwrites you want and avoid those you don't.

Use MO's sort feature for the plugins in the right pane. Or download LOOT and run that as an executable inside of MO, which is probably the better option.

Most things will work. If you're using MO you don't need to download things again either.

When it comes to overwrites of SL Framework, the left pane in MO is your friend. It mimics the install order you'd have when using something like Nexus Mod Manager or while doing manual installs. But it's easier. Way easier. If SL is overwritten, let's say by SoS, then simply drag and drop SL below SoS or drag and drop SoS above SL. This makes them overwrite (actually over READ) in an order than prevents SL from being overwritten by SoS.

Okay, so I should have SoS above SL then? An here I was thinking it was the other way around.

The mods are "read" in the order they appear in the left pane. So the lower they are in the list the more they will overwrite, or at least have more of a chance of overwriting. Lower overwites higher. Simple enough to remember, huh?

  8. Well I keep my opinion to myself for the most part, but if someone is asking which is the better tool, having used both for Fallout as well as Skyrim, I won't be switching back to NMM.  And it is hard not to praise the virtues of MO as it is truly an easy to use and understand system.  (Even the running scripts in creation kit from within MO has been fixed if you follow Ashal's instructions a few pages back).  No hatred of Nexus here, I am on their site everyday although I have no use for their forums, Just an objective view of the two alternate approaches.  And the fact that NMM is starting to turn towards virtualization would tell me that they think that MO's virtual approach is a better system as well.

What is the average load up time on NMM now?  It used to be a couple minutes every time you turned it on, not sure if that has changed with their new setup?

    Exactly right. Every bit.

There's no reason to NOT tell people about the superiority of MO because MO is objectively better in every single way you could measure better or worse. And, like you said, Nexus's move toward a MO clone should show this much.

  9. BlackTulip said PC trouble.

You're right. But I read that as "player character" for some reason! That's what I get for drinking before forum browsing!

I can relate, though, since I did have to reinstall once since switching to MO. I tried to use a preview build of Win10 and it broke so I had to fully reinstall Win7 and lost everything in the process.

  10. I use UNP HDT-PE body and instead of using LSAR I use....

    UNP minidresses collection... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47376/?

Sexy Vanilla Armor Replacer (it can also be used as standalone, too)... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34160/?

This covers all the stuff that LSAR covered in a simpler way.

i cant use this as unp user or? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69803/?

You can use it with UNP, but it will take the first file then the second file overwriting it in order for it to work with UNP.

  11. Well i don't care if this whole site hating nexus i still visit it everyday(i barely use forums there have in about 8 years used it 30 times hehe)if i see a good mod i dl it and show sometimes screenshots i make in my favorite mod page on nexus i use for my characters also sometimes for other mods i like. Drama on nexus is rather unknown to me becouse i don't chat or communicate through forums(only when i get PM about my awesome screenshots ;) )

Btw i have not yet used latest NMM version 0.6 due to troubles with my main PC so i can't realy judge about that right now lost my whole skyrim install.

I have used NMM for years with almost no problems( i do how ever also alot manually(i like that)) i know exactly how all works and how to avoid mod problems.

To each his own, i gues.

This tells me you should've jumped on the Mod Organizer bandwagon already. If you can manually install without issues then MO is perfect for you because it does require a bit of knowledge in how Skyrim folder structure works to really get the most out of it.

You also wouldn't have lost your last Skyrim install. Just sayin'....

  12. I keep a folder called "Skyrim Mod Archives" and I put all my compressed mods in there. I don't even let Nexus mods download/install directly and they also go in that folder (download manually at Nexus). Then I use the toGop/left icon in MO to install an archive. I also have copies of those mods in case they "disappear", which happens a lot actually.

Gopher has a YouTube video showing how to use TES5Edit. It's really super easy to be honest. I use it to clean all the Skyrim master files and occasionally mods that need it.

I don't use Wrye Bash at all with Skyrim because I haven't been merging mods and that's all I would need it for. I do use it for Oblivion, but not for Skyrim. So it's not that important in my opinion.

  13. There won't be much extracting to do fortunately. Once the basics (SKSE really) are manually installed into the Skyrim root directory the rest will be installed into Mod Organizer. They don't need to be unzipped, MO will eat them up as archives.

Go to YouTube and search for Skyrim modding videos by Gopher. He will teach you the basics so you get a solid grasp to get started. His style is perfect for beginners.

  14.

No manual installation option? I must be a dying breed.

In the same way that people who stick to stone tools are a dying breed, yes :P

If you like manual installs then MO would be perfect. It even allows manual manipulation and if you know the proper Skyrim folder structure then MO should be right up your alley.

And you still get to keep a clean data folder. Perfect.

  15. I never had FNIS delete anything or break my game. I merely installed FNIS files into MO like any other mod, went to the right pane and clicked the data tab, scrolled down to the tools section to find the FNIS generator, then right clicked it and chose to set as an executable. That's it. Nothing more to installing FNIS than that. And nothing got deleted because mods in MO don't delete anything in the Skyrim folder.

  16. With the overwrites I just do all the stuff I need to do (FNIS, BodySlide, etc.) and let my overwrite folder fill right up. Then, after all that stuff is accomplished, I right click the overwrite folder and use the "create mod" option. I name the new pseudomod something relevant to that profile name and activate it at the bottom of the left pane. When I create a new profile I repeat the process. If I re-run any of those tools, like FNIS or BS2, I open the overwrite folder with explorer then drag and drop those new bits into my previously made pseudomod.

  17. Try the wrapper version? Or just extracting the files and then pasting the .dll files into the root directory? For SweetFX, for example, I had to rename to file from what it was to Sweet_FX.dll for it to work and have read similar things about some ENB files.
