malfdawg that looks awsome, you should consider making that a public mod or something like it if its ok with shaydow. It could go well with some of the loverslab succubus mods and i love playing a succubus character.

hopefully they fix this issue, I keep forgetting to run the injector then have to exit the game just to start it, very annoying.

I haven't played my fallout nv in a few months and went to play it recently and it starts up fine as far as the game goes, but i get just a black screen, i can hear the menu music and even the main menu start so the game isn't crashing it just doesn't show anything. I am at my wits end, I could not find any solution to this, all the solutions i found were for crashes which is not the case here. Any help would be appreciated.

ok the directx from skyrim didn't fix it but the injector worked nicely so I will have to use that for now, thank you all for the help, hopefully they fix the d3d9 issue cuz its a bit annoying to have to remember to run the injector lol.

also where do I find the runtime that came with skyrim, I could only find the c++ one.

ahh great idea, ill try that first, but in the event I still need to use the injector , how would I do so with fnv4gb, do I just put the ENBInjector.exe in the exe folder and thats it ? I have never used the injector version of any ENB before.

ok so there was indeed an update but it didnt fix the issue so now I have got to try the injector. Thank you guys for all your help you did have good advice and I am very sorry I got snippy with you and I am sorry I didnt seem very appreciative. I really am very grateful.

ok new update, just tried without d3d9 and bam I can see the menu again so looks like I might need to use the injector as you suggested, but first im going to see if theres any new updates for windows.

  I was reading your posts but i had tried all that before (i did mention I searched it before coming here), thats the reason I came here for help.  I do apologize though, I realize you are just trying to help and it is appreciated, I guess I was just letting my frustration get the best of me. I will try removing the d3d9 and see what happens. On another note I do have the latest windows 10 so if this turns out to be the case then that means they broke it again.

not to be rude but It doesn't seem like you guys are really reading my posts, I said its black at the main menu, but I still get the normal music and menu sounds, also I mentioned im not using an ENB, however that's not entirely true and I apologize for that as I forgot I was using ENBoost, but that is basically just a vram optimizer the way its set up.

I do have MO but I only use it for skyrim, I use nexus mod manager for fallout, also Anatriax I mentioned that I have not changed my mods in a while and its worked fine all that time before I took a break so It couldn't be any mods, makes no sense that a load order that's worked perfectly fine for at least 5 or 6 months would suddenly cause this. So no its not obviously a mod, I remember oblivion had a similar problem back in the day and it turned out to be a graphics issue with lighting or something, cant remember for sure. Point is something else had to have changed. The only significant change I can think of is I upgraded to windows 10, so not sure if that messed something up or not, and before anyone asks yes I did try compatibility mode.

As I said in my op the game is NOT freezing or crashing, when I hear the menu come up and move my mouse around it makes the normal sounds you get when your mouse hovers over menu items. also FNV Edit gives no errors nor does LOOT. Also I should note that I am not using any ENB nor have i changed my load order or mods in a while.

  I use live another life as well and dont have that issue so its something else, first thing id check is that your using a skeleton such as xpms or xpmse

  uh its something on your end not the mod, it works fine for me and many others, make sure you have a skeleton such as xpmse and also that your not using a mod that changes the vampire lord that could conflict.  

  I have been using this mod with better vampires and royal bloodlines for a while with no issues, I just load yours after both of them. so his problem is something else.

use the setrace console command after you revert back to human form example:  player.setrace bretonracevampire   replace breton with whatever race your character is and then they will recognize you as a vampire.

love the idea, just one question though. will these mods work with project nevada and UIO ?

is there a way to convert the presets into chargen ones?
