  1. Get the quest to go meet Karliah and Brynjolf, exit Riften and head towards the cave and when i'm near, crash. Restart game load outside the thieves guild entrance, leave the town and crash. I can to other places such as Whiterun and other areas as well as inside Riften but if i load into the rift i get a crash, wtf!?!?!?

    Hello,

  2. Asked the modder "darkconsole" this is the reply:

[21:10:54] <Kaputzki> Quest alias condition colored purple in CK, got any idea what that means?
[21:11:06] <darkconsole> no i been asking people that for two years now. nobody knows.
[21:11:21] <darkconsole> i even posted discussion to the ck wiki about it. nobody knows.

  3. So, as the title says, today I installed Submit to try it (thinking it was gonna be easier that Defeat) but now, while trying to start the alternative life of a slave (mod ImmerSlave - Live a Slave's Life)  every time the Master punishes my poor Dragonborn I get a CTD.

I'm not sure if it's a animation issue or if it's submit.

That's why I decided to uninstall Submit and re-install Defeat, but the issue is still there. Actually, the Submit dialogue appeared which is weird since I uninstalled it.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hello,

Defeat has a severe issue with CTDs and the mod author has most likely abandoned the project.

Here's a link to a fix a community member, Waxenfigure created. It helped me, not sure if it'll help your specific problem:

  4. But then i saw that you need to dig through endless lists of in/compatible mods, find compatibility patches, and then get an .xml for every single item mod for the Skyproc Patcher.

So basically it sounds 1:1 the same like with SkyRe, only that you have to find mods for the other game content on your own (provided those mods already have compatibility patches).

And the PerPa ran ~15 minutes on my installation, then terminated with an error. Watching the video tutorial, this is meant to run "up to 2 hours" on a heavily modded game. Ermm... wtf? So every time you change just 1 mod, you have to wait up to 2 hours for the patcher?

    So, your opinions please.

    Hey,

I'm an avid PerMa user and I didn't have to dig/read that much. The main reading points was T3nd0's page and the PCaPP page, which both eliminated many of my problems.

    1. Compatibility wise I always look at PCaPP page or the current mod page to see if it's compatible.

The patcher thing not working was a huge pain in the ass though, until I realized there are 2 more patchers included and used a different version which worked, but then terminated because the mod order was not to its exact specifications.

Took me some tweaking but finally got it to work.

    2. I enjoy PerMa's perks and mechanisms, it makes the game more engaging for me. I can also agree with Shiratama that it does change designated trees' roles (I mean, c'mon, restoration was always the weakass healing tree, conjuration was always summoning, enchanting was always... Well, enchanting etc'), however - it is done in a way that I truly enjoy and if it's fun for me, I can let it slide.

Playing as a conjuration/restoration/destro mage, I cast curses and diseases while my summoned minions are tearing the enemy flanks - then quickly switch to destruction spells and trim them down completely. Experience-wise, I enjoy it - it may not be the most fair or "balanced" in some people's eyes, but in the end we do what's making our game fun.

Many perks are active perks and that can be quite a nuisance, but t3nd0 t3nds to trim down on passive perks in trees he believes shouldn't be passive, he did that in SkyRe and in PerMa.

    3. All in all, this whole discussion boils down to whether or not PerMa is your flavor. To me, it definitely is but I can see many valid reasons why others wouldn't like it.

also, the perk descriptions are absolute trash. They make no sense and force me to actually alt tab to a browser to see what they give me - if we raise the claim of "RP purposes", alt-tabbing to check perks isn't very immersive. :P

p.s. got a defluffing mod for perkus maximus if anyone is interested:

  5. I have joy of perspective installed and all the xpms skeletons also and also with my game save I use a succubus race, when I try to remove a chest piece or armor it CTDs. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hello,

First of all, is the succubus race XPMSE compatible or using its own skeleton? Make sure you use XPMSE 3.0. If compatible overwrite the skeleton files manually.

In the left list in mod organizer place XPMSE last, then joy of perspective after that, then succubus race finally.

    Awaiting to hear your results.

  6. Sorry for slow response..College summer school, taking a test tomorrow, will work on improvement after the test.

    Good luck with your test.

Oh and the notion behind "goat" in "Namira's Goat" is the fact goats tend to eat everything when they herd (apart from meat obviously) and normally leave no leftover like other livestock.

    Hello,

Try going to Creature Framework in the MCM menu - to the right-bottom you will see "re-register all mods"

Click on that and see if that works.

  9. The problem is that you have a lot of mods and even going through Papyrus doesn't give a lot of indication as to what is going on, aside for the fact that there are tons of errors.

As for your question; you prioritize key mods over anything else: XPMSE, Realistic Ragdolls and Force, (in my case) CBBE etc' - then it's a matter of reading the mod description page and then a few of the mod's posts.

Doing that will help me decide if a mod may be problematic or not, if it's not then I will install it according to the description's requirements. For instance: I have Falskaar. I want to add a training dummies mod, I read and see that it is compatible with Falskaar so I download it and place it under Falskaar in the priority list so it'll overwrite parts of Falskaar relative to the training dummies mod.

Another example: Live Another Life is in priority 142 and it overwrites anything else, in this case files from USKP.

It takes some trial and error and reading the description and posts really helps.

  10. Hello,

Just woke up - looking at both mods you require this mod to run it properly: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6709/?

And not UNPB. I believe that may be the source of your problems, try disabling UNPB, install the mod I linked (Dimonized UNP) - put the textures above XPMSE and DUNP above the textures.

    Awaiting to hear your results.

edit: it would appear the mod author also includes UNPB and 7B as viable UNPs.

So after trying the first solution, try deleting UNPB and the texture mods and reinstall them, after that place them XPMSE -> Textures -> UNPB.

  11.

I did what you said, unp wasn't needed (thanks!) but my khajiit still has the really weird textures, the breasts are still messed up and the crotch has cutting issues (where the black lines cut around the thighs) and im still not sure how to fix it. and apparently the unofficial skyrim patch is now trying to give a body type for the khajiit, but when i put it above the Femenizied khajiit texture , it still takes presidence, and when i put it below it takes all the files and makes them weird. Becuase so far the unp textures are working, jsut not for argonians/Khajiit

Link me the mod page for the Khajiit texture.

    Hello,

Your Papyrus logs would be under Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Script

What do you mean by "glitches with races, locations and such" ?

Furthermore I see you are running Perkus Maximus but you did not place it properly and I cannot see PatchusMaximus.esp on your list - are you familiar on how to use MO's executable launcher? That alone can cause some annoyances, will also explain two key functions in MO. I will copy paste a previous reply of mine.

Finally, after reading about Perkus Maximus - you should go and read Antariax's guide. It's well written and will solve you many problems, I recommend following her guide after making a fresh start:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. From the Perma page and looking at your stuff, it is highly recommended to get the following mods: Weapons and Armor Fixes, Clothing and Clutter Fixes and Complete Crafting Overhaul.

    2. You should also place PerMA higher up on your list, this is recommended by the PCaPP page, in the spoiler there is a picture of how I placed my Perma stuff and it works fine for over 20 hours of gameplay:

    4Umt9o5.png

As you can see, after the last .esm I placed the Weapons and Armor Fixes, Clothing and Clutter Fixes and Complete Crafting Overhaul, eye invisibility patch is something optional I took because Papyrus logs would scream that it can't find eye invisibility fix mod. I DO NOT LET LOOT SORT FOR ME -> As it may cause dysfunctional behavior with the Perma Patcher, LOOT is good but if you can sort out the order yourself and get it to work it'll be better.

    3. I also recommend that you do not revert to an older version of USKP, Perma works fine with the current version.

    4. After that: Perma - Main, Perma - Wintermyst, Perma - Mage, Perma - USKP Patch, finally Perma - Warrior. This is the recommended way to place the primary Perma mods by official posts of PCaPP.

Any mods that can communicate with Perma and have a patch, such as Bound Armory, Wind Destruction Magic, Acquisitive Soul Shards and so on - will be placed under that streak of Perma I linked you. Doesn't have to be directly under it, just below the streak in the load order, just don't make it last.

The bottom of the load order should look something like this:

    9CTSomd.png

    5. Finally, Mod Organizer is not only load order. You need to set mod priorities in the left menu so MO will know what do you want to overwrite over what.

MO priority system works opposite to load order: that is, if I have a mod with priority 1 and mod with priority 2 - priority 2 will overwrite 1 should they share the same files.

Out of some 155 priorities, Perma is ranked 128 - which is fairly important. I also placed Wintermyst under Perma so it'll overwrite, then the Perma patches and any corresponding files afterwards. In the first picture you will see other mods between Perma and Perma patches but they are irrelevant.

    ibiHpc2.png

A highlighted green means that this mod gets overwritten by the one currently tagged, a red highlight means that mod is currently overwriting the one currently tagged.

  13. To Killing Joke- No i did not.

To kaputzi- ill try putting the skeleton on the bottom, and what i meant by unp and unpb is i have the base unp body, but im trying to override it with the blessed body redux version, but for some reason it does not want to. And i wish i could pick in between one or the other, however Blessed body requires unp base to be installed, but unlike NMM, Mod organizer, no matter the order its in, won't let me overight the unp with the blessed body redux mod.

To Zubat11- I have no idea if the CBBE textures work or not, I don't use them. I use UNP blessed body redux

To Teppi- Thanks for the links, ill take a look at them!

Same notion; place XPMSE last, UNPB above it - the UNPB mod author does not ask to download UNP body as well, his mod already has the assets of UNP - so you can safely delete UNP from your list.

    0

  14.

Actually, the way I have them set up is the way that the author of both SkyRe and PerMa has said they need to be installed in order to work together.

Thanks for providing input on my guide, though.

Reproccer will not be used. Patchus Maximus takes over the function that reproccer used to.

Read over your guide and realized my error. Deleted the reply.

    Apologies.

  15.

    Hello,

Mod Organizer's mod section is divided into two primary parts. The right side, which is the load order list and the left side which is the priority list.

Certain mods need to overwrite other mods in order for both to function properly, as such, place XPMSE (XP32) skeleton LAST in the left list so it may overwrite anything relating to skeletons.

I did not quite understand what you mean with UNP and UNPB body. Do you want your own character to have UNPB while NPCs will have UNP?

If so, you will need a custom race and to copy paste UNPB's files over the race's respective files.

If not, you should pick either UNP or UNPB.

    1

  16. Hello,

I don't believe deleting Realistic Ragdolls and Force will do it. XPMSE, the skeleton you are using is dependent on it and it may intensify the problem. That's a very dangerous thing to recommend.

    1. From the Perma page and looking at your stuff, it is highly recommended to get the following mods: Weapons and Armor Fixes, Clothing and Clutter Fixes and Complete Crafting Overhaul.

    Awaiting to hear your results.

  17. It's all symantics, instead of saying "It cause torpedo boobs" you should have said something like "something in my install is incompatible with xpmse so I don't choose to use it". This way no one gets butthurt ;)

I can see why Groovtama would be pissed off, this is the millionth time someone complains about his mod when in fact, it is an installation problem. This has nothing to do with being "butthurt", more than a legitimate reason to be frustrated over a repeated annoyance.
