Hey all! Is there a way to change the colour of the feathers? I saw a lot of pics with different coloured feathers. I would really like blue ones thanks!

u colour then in photoshop.

provided you have seamless body textures,this is the final step to fix your seams in ALL your outfits and body meshes.

TUTORIAL:

-requires NIFSKOPE (any version)

Results:

remember that everytime you import the mesh in blender (or 3dsmax) you must fix it again in nifskope afterwards.

why is it important to do?

The skyrim headmesh uses these settings,so if u want to avoid seams bugs u must set the body mesh (hand and feet meshes) in the same way.

Why you can't just change the headmesh?

1- because NPCS don't use it,they use their own version.basically EVERY NPC USES ITS OWN HEADMESH...(wanna change em all through CK? go ahead and do so,...see u in 300 years!)

2- headmesh has normals removed,so if you add them they'll be addedd randomly...this may cause awful lighting bugs...i haven't teste it but it could happen...

HERE you can DOWNLOAD the most common base bodies with this fix applied.

WARNING...every time you ear an outfit,the bodymesh will change,and your character will display the bodymesh contained in the outfit.FOR THIS REASON it's advisable to fix these outfits.

Do these hairstyles work on male characters also?

 

I would love to have the NewSea hairs called FlyingDance, Gravity, Milliet and Summer for men.

Also Sims conversion hairs called FH 103 and Equinoxe. These hairstyles are feminine but could work for a male character. Super cute!

I'm finally getting around to putting all my hair mods in order, but I've ran into an issue or two.

 

Is there any chance you can use another mirror instead of 4shared? I really don't want to have to use my social profile to download a hair file. Also, all the files on mega don't work for me. I get a red icon then a black ball and nothing happens. I'd suggest using mediafire as you've done with the other files, or even considering using LL's own inbuilt upload and download system, which is simple and quick to use.

 

Oh, and your 2nd link under "If you don't want missing hairs" - "New Hair Pack for New Vegas by Illuminatus" isn't available anymore. Is there any chance of a reupload?

 

Besides that, I'm really looking forward to getting these to work. Thank you so much for your hard work! 

Nope i can't use mediafire...it doesn't work with 7z files...and it constantly blocks my files...

u can access to mega using Chrome or a broswer that allows it...

for 4shared u have to make a free account using an email address...no need to use anythign...it's also 100 free and no ads like mediafire... -.-

for the backup...nope i deleted those hairs...like last month.u should post in fallout forum for that

Just a quick question, the athena hair fix file, is it just a single hair mod, or is it part of a bigger hair mod?? Just wondering if there was a larger hair mod that I could add it to, or if its just a lone hair mod.

hairs were not colorable...and didn't behave well with lights...i don't remember hiw mine works or if it's put into some ind of esp...

i made it so long ago on a whim...but then i didn't like it on my char and kinda dropped it

Is there another DL link for all the hairs, cause I tried the mega.co links, but all I get is a screen with the mega.co symbol in the middle of the page.  I tried the 4shared links as well but it wants my social media info, isn't there a place I can just DL all the files without having to sign up for things I don't want or need.  I use mediafire for file sharing, so I don't want to have to sign up for 4shared too, just to be able to DL the files.  So if you could put them on a file sharing site that doesn't require me to sign up or give out info that I would rather not have to give out, that would be great.  As I really like the hairs, from the pics they all look awesome, and I would really like to use them, I just don't want to have to sign up for more stuff just to get them.

4shared just requires afree account (no need to pay anything or anyone)

Mediafire's not free anymore...files with an amount dls,will get deleted for public (cuse i only have 7zip for compression)and i had a shitload of troubles trying to download from it.

and i hate it cause it's got too much ads.

Nope i'm not gonna sign up to another site which i don't know if it's safe or not,and reupload tons of gigabytes to another file sharing system.

this is easyer on your end to either sing up on 4shared or allow mega in your pc.

Just an FYI, I downloaded the Harvest Feather & Jasmine Flowers file, but the harvest Feather nif file is blank, nothing in it, just an empty nif file.  Is it supposed to be that way??  I reDLed it just to be sure the file wasn't corrupted or something, but the nif file is still blank.  So if its not supposed to be blank you might want to check the file, and if it is supposed to be blank, then just ignore this comment .

nope it's not...i have no idea about it...the mod was ade by niire..and no one ever reported anythig like that...an you can see may screenshots of em all aroun...dunnno everywere...it kinda got boring to use XD

Thanks for converting the hair styes from Skyrim, I was looking for the hair style I use in Skyrim (look at my sig).  Now, I do have Lings Coiffure installed bwcause of the Shiloh DS, Country Girl Cass mod that are dependent on Lings.  Now, I see there are lots of updates and such on the first page, this being a fresh install, what files do I need to download to get things going?  I appreciate the help.

LOL this has to be the most confusing hair install I've ever done. None of these hairs are showing up for me, I do have the Lings.esm and related files. I've got the Cazy and other required hairs and styles and all their respective esp's and even a merged hair patch for all of them...and none of this stuff is there. It simply does not show up on the Chargen menu on any race whatsoever.

 

The meshes are all in the right places and so are the textures and the esp for A Hair.esp is active....so I'm kinda confused on what the problem is. I'm not using any custom race mods.

 

EDIT: they show up if I remove the Mikoto stuff oddly enough, there are still quite a few missing meshes though I'd swear I've downloaded everything.

Lings and mikoto can't work at the same time.

Sorry to ask it like this but... I sent a mail to Maymay because her hairs for male bugs, and I think it's really too bad because the long one is awesome. She told me that she gave up her hair work and that I could ask Zzjay if she would be agree to fix it.

 

Here my question come: Please zzjay, can you fix maymay's male hairs? (just the long one could be sooo awesome!) And make male character enjoy you hair work too... But that's my personal request...

i usually do not do male hairs...they really never look good...if you check apachii's latest male hairpack i'm sure u'll fine prettier long hairs than i'll ever be able to make

also for normalmaps...nope u can't use that OBJ space maps...u should use some tool to convert them to Tspace(i tried with xnormal...but i have o idea how to do it) or justr bake tspace from NDO(free for PS) or u can use insanebumps for GIMP or some similar thing...

and about normalmaps for the alpha channel it's better if u use the diffusemap as a base and desaturate it\tweakaand then paste it in the alpha...it'll have a lil more shades...
