  1. Back again... Ignore the post I made earlier, I decided to simply delete everything and create a new install of the game. It's running a lot smoother now, although there is something strange going on.

From what I've gathered so far, several PSE specific scenes are crashing the game after a rape ends. I've tested several encounters so far and for me it happens if Lord Pelham rapes my character and if a guard does with Rough Justice. Slave Traders, the Slave Camp, and Hello Sailor work fine, and I haven't tested Hackdirt or Sibling Rivalry. Going back the Pelham encounter, if my character chooses the submissive route and has consensual sex with him, the game is fine and won't crash the game after the sex. In a different instance, I entered his house normally (ie, not from the slaver camp to his house, just teleporting to Pell's gate, unlocking his front door with console, and entering) and if my character gets raped by him (through raperS), the game will crash.

Currently I'm using the OldWolf58 fix esp with the compatibility patch esp as well. I tried switching to the original 0.691 esp but the same thing occurs (along with a few new bugs like Slave Traders being hostile to bandits/marauders etc). I've fixed my load order to match the recommended one, and I've been using completely new characters throughout. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve this?

  2. ^^ For the enslavement part, Player Slave Encounters and LoversRaperS (Wappyone's version) should help in that regard. PSE can be tweaked to allow enslavement to occur at <10% health, and RaperS has an option to do damage to your character after every rape, as well as a cross-mod functionality with PSE so that if your character would die from a rape, they'd get enslaved instead.

  3. Hmm, I seem to be experiencing an old problem again. When my character is enslaved, I for some reason am allowed to jump and raise my fists (and in doing so, my fists can't go back down, permanently breaking the animation unless I use the resurrect command on my character). Also, I am not forced to follow my master. This breaks most events because I still can't go through doors that lead to new cells, leaving me stuck there until a crash. Waiting doesn't help. The same thing occurs with a new character. I updated my load order to match the recommended one, I've tried different esps (0.691, Oldwolf58's fix, others), I uninstalled, deleted, and reinstalled several times, making saves with and without the mod along the way. Overwriting the meshes and other bits of data didn't do anything either. Last time the problem fixed itself when I reinstalled with the later version at the time, but that doesn't apply here. Perhaps it's a mod conflict, but I don't know where to start. Anyone have any input?

  4. First I have to say that Im enjoying this mod greatly ^^

But Ive run into a problem.

Im playing the Sibling Rivalry encounter and are about to lead the noble lady into the trap at the inn. I arrive at the inn with the lady with me and try to go to bed as the "Master" told me to.

The problem is that when I click the rest button the rest menu starts flashing and the click sound starts repeating. This goes on forever.... Anyone know why? and if so how to fix it?

I have this problem too whenever I reach this part of the quest. The thing is, it's actually progressing, it's just that it takes a long-ass time for the whole action to complete, especially if it normally takes long for hours to pass by while sleeping. You might just have to wait 15 real life minutes for it to finish, but it should be fine (unless your game crashes right after and in that case... you're kinda SOL...).

  5. I stayed neutral to this game ever since its announcement, silently doubting it but never wishing its failure. I'm not sure if the fact that this game turned out exactly how I initially predicted it would is a cause of celebration or not, but I'm glad I waited, because now I can avoid this disaster entirely.

  6. The Mad God, you said

Goblin Bitch has no resolution while enslaved, although the quest "advances" once you earn freedom.

Does this mean that, after you spend enough time, you get more freedom to walk around the cave? I never actually waited long during that quest because I thought there wouldn't be any advancements at all.

No, what I meant was, the actual quest in the quest log reaches a new stage after freeing yourself from the goblins. The stages will loop if you get enslaved again, escape, etc. It's never actually advancing to any new plot in the quest. Sorry for the confusion.

  7. Every time a master, creature or NPC, gives me to a rat, I can't see the rat and I get the message "Cannot start sex acts". Here's my new load order: http://pastebin.com/E4sEugVN

Anyone have a guess at why the rat might not be showing up? Thanks in advance.

If you're in a dungeon, sometimes rats will clip through the ground and end up beneath the floor. Some dungeons have a layer of water underneath which allows the rats to survive and stay in range of the player to enter combat or do other things.

  8. Vampires were originally embodiments of gluttony and greed. In the 18th and 19th centuries they embodied disease, plague and pestilence. Nowadays...

Of course, anything can be good and original if done well.

I think when it comes to making a story with the supernatural or a monstrosity of sorts (whether it be a physical being or an internal side of someone where the character or protagonist is him/herself the monster) you have to ask why they're there. The best and most heralded stories in human history are so, because they explore human nature or say something about the human condition or society. Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings, and of course, Dracula himself all do this.

When writing a fanfic however, that whole last paragraph probably doesn't apply. If you stick to good writing conventions (and avoid some tropes or making "mary sue" characters) while respecting source material, I'm sure it will be a good read.

  9. So after playing the full game (PC, with Xbox 360 controller) for 3 hours now, at this point, I think the game's great! Watching beta footage made me really nervous when it came to the movement and character control, but those issues aren't present. While DS2 isn't as sharp and snappy in the roll directions as DS, it still works fine. The best improvement is of course, optimization, the game has been running fantastic so far. Couple minor complaints though:

-No fast roll? It seems as though there isn't a fast/quick roll anymore. From what I've played so far, there's only two now, the medium roll, and the fat roll.

-Some enemies have attacks that are annoyingly hard to see, namely the spear hollows.

-Animations are a bit poorer in this game, namely the animation for receiving a hit with poise broken. It's short and can easily get you stun-locked, even by NPC enemies. You also have to wait for strong attack animations to finish before initiating a normal attack, unlike in the first game, where you could, and it was more fluid.

-Locations so far aren't that interesting. Majula is nice and all but I can't put it above good ol' Firelink. The Starting area and the Forest of the Giants were decent in design, but nothing extraordinary. Here's hoping to better areas in the future.

-The lighting quality seems to have been downgraded in DS2. In the original, the lighting made the world feel a lot more dangerous and scary. In DS2, at least what I've seen so far, the lighting is just a lot more tame and bland, somewhat similar to Dragon Age 2 (though not as bad). For example, when fighting the first boss, the arena was partially basked in sunlight which made the whole thing a little less threatening. Even the Undead Burg in the first game, while not the most memorable in its uniqueness, was enhanced by Dark Soul's awesome lighting.

Other than that, I am really enjoying this game.

@bob11, you can change the jump function back to the B button if you're using an Xbox controller. It's in one of the options menus.

  10. Hey guys, new to sexlab here, I was having the issue whereby the game would crash as soon as an animation would start, and after some turmoil I've pinned down the mod that's "responsible". It's CBBE. I don't know why it's doing this, but everything works fine with the default skyrim body (and also CHSBHC, but I prefer the proportions of CBBE to that). Any ideas as to what I can do if I want to use CBBE with sexlab?

  11. Some of these quests seem to resolve after some extended period of slavery, but others never seem to. This means that for some it is best to try to escape right away, as otherwise you could have your willpower drop to 0 and need to cheat to escape, while for others you can stay longer to experience the full content.

Could someone who's more familiar with the mod make a list of which quests end in death, which quests end in escape/release, which quests have scripted points for release, and which quests simply go nowhere?

The reason for this is I think it's a common problem now for people to get captured in Hackdirt, thinking that this will have a story, and then waste several hours waiting for something to happen. I also spent a very long time in submission mode in the goblin cave, thinking that this would lead somewhere, before I reloaded. I still have no idea if it does lead anywhere.

    I'll try:

    1. Goblin Bitch has no resolution while enslaved, although the quest "advances" once you earn freedom.Dropping down to 0 willpower is essentially a bad end since your character can't escape and your only hope is for an NPC to come in and rescue you (or not, depending on their responsibility). Additionally, if you escape but get re-enslaved, the other enslaved woman (forgot the name...) will warn you about being cooked by the goblins. I don't know if anything of the sort ever actually happens.

    2. In A Reluctant Housemaid, freedom can be achieved in several ways. You can escape from the slaver camp, and as Pellham's slave. Additionally, if you earn enough favor with him (earned by serving and submitting to him), he will allow you to leave the house, but you are stuck with a debuff that gets gradually worse until you go back to Pellham. The only way to ever get stuck in an un-escapable loop is to be brought the slaver camp and reach 0 willpower if Pellham is no longer alive. Since the slave camp is only tied to Pellham, if he dies, you'll never leave unless you escape or are freed by an NPC (which is highly unlikely).

As for the tea party, it has a definite ending and won't result in death.

    3. In Rough Justice, you will be forced to endure the public abuse portions as well as indentured servitude if that occurs. However, if your bounty is high enough, your character will be hanged. This doesn't actually result in a death, but there is no progression after that point, so you must reload a save to do anything. There's also a small chance that the Justicar will be corrupt and sell your character to a slave trader, who will bring you to the slaver camp from the previous encounter.

In Rough Streets, sleeping outside could lead to being enslaved by a slave trader, who will take you to the slaver camp from encounter 2. Sleeping in an interior cell could lead to a burglar NPC coming in, enslaving you, and then stealing your items. No death, and you can escape normally.

    4. In Dog Days, the quest will end in release, no death. You do get a "debuff" afterwards which can fire up when near dogs but that's it.

    5. In Hello Sailor, there is both the possibility of being trapped in the whorehouse forever, and "dying", as well as the ability to escape. If your willpower reaches 0, you will be unable to acquire new lockpicks from the minigame making it impossible to get the key to escape. However, in the cellar, there is a crate that gives you 5 lockpicks upon activating it. A few other lockpicks can be found in random containers throughout the building. Death will occur when the player escapes and/or resists enough times, kills one or more of the guards, or kills the mistress herself. The entire Hello Sailor quest can be completed by getting enslaved (through Rough Streets), escaping, and killing all the guards and the mistress.

    6. In Sibling Rivalry, a bad end can occur if enslaved by the Akaviri Ghost and raped enough times. Other than that the questline can be completed and results in your release. The primary portions of this quest are while you are enslaved and advance after a while.

    7. In A Forgotten Shadow, an un-escapable enslavement will occur if you rent a room in the Hackdirt Tavern and sleep in the bed. Other than that I'm not sure. I haven't done this quest in a while, someone else will have to fill in the details. Sorry!

There's also the unofficial Namira's Shrine Encounter, which results in a bad end no matter what.

    Hope this helps.

  12. I downloaded all esp, files and installed it. What should I do next?

When I started oblivion, it just shut off right after when I activated esp. Do I need to do something?

please answer me, im new to this community and new to oblivion.

I'm not entirely sure where the crashes are happening for you so I'll give two answers:

If the game launcher is crashing when you try to activate an esp, then I would uninstall the mod that the esp belonged to (hopefully you used a mod manager to install beforehand) and reinstall all assets of the mod(s). Otherwise the esp you are trying to activate should not be activated however to my knowledge there is no mod for Lovers with Pk that does this.

If the game is crashing before you can get to the main menu screen in-game, then you are missing esp/esm's required for certain mods. Go back to the game launcher, open up "data files", and go through each esp and esm and make sure you have all the requirements (listed on the right when you select one).

    Hope this helps.

  13.

Hey how do you do the challenge any way to win it. Dose Lord Pellham let my PC go at the end of the quest or do I have to kill him to end it ?

Don't kill him.  Just follow the questline and see what happens.  You may actually fall in love with the bastard.

How do I get all my stuff back all my PC money is gone and clothes went she was taking by the slave trader she over 2k in gold

A sack with all your stuff is placed wherever you were last enslaved... You could try retracing your steps or finding an earlier save if you are lost.

  14. No,

so I let you think about this: Would you play a game which has an amazing gameplay but all it offers is a piss-poor room with no enemies, no clues about what to do next? just randomly placed objects you can interact to play the game ?

So then... What do you leave left for the gameplay? Good, responsive controls? I thought that the gameplay included those things; such as an objective, obstacles and challenges to overcome, and interaction with the environment (where smart, meaningful, and fun interaction leads to good gameplay). The game doesn't even need context, but it does need things for the player to do, otherwise the game simply has bad gameplay.
