  1. Here's my shitty ramble-post on the matter:

It's gameplay for me. I mean without gameplay, the game ceases to be a game. Gameplay is what gives the player the ability to interact in the game; it's what connects the player to the game. Otherwise the software simply becomes an un-interact able experience that a person can hear and view. And honestly, if a game is lacking in gameplay (quantity and quality-wise) I really don't care how good the story is, it simply wouldn't be worth the effort of experiencing (what with having to deal with the poor gameplay).

Games like Castlevania, Mega Man, and Dark Souls are examples of games that avoid over-emphasis on story and focus on providing excellent gameplay, and to this day I can still load up any of these games and have a great time playing them since their gameplay is so good and these games are so replay-able. With a story-heavy game, I can feel satisfied by the end of it, but I have no desire of starting it up again because the investment one has to make to remember all quests and details and characters yada yada. For example, I restarted the original Witcher game 3 times because after playing it for a bit, I would get bored and frustrated at the bad gameplay and go on a Witcher hiatus for several months, when I came back, I had forgotten everything and resolved to starting over. I still haven't beaten that game to this day.

And going back to the gameplay-over-story games listed above, I would even argue that those games still have good stories to them. It's all presented in a way that comes through playing and experiencing the game at your own pace and leisure. I'm not simply advancing to another plot point, watching a cutscene until being tasked with reaching the next plot-point, the story and plot intertwine with the gameplay and the experiences are aimed directly at me, not the in game character I'm controlling or something else.

  2. Where do I find the Countess Caro, I don't find her where she should be, somehow dis questline conflicts with LoversBitch :s

She's the countess of Leyawiin. If she isn't in the throne room try at different hours of the day. Otherwise you could try the party room (if you have LoversBitch installed) which in another cell in the castle (shouldn't be hard to find).

I', stuck in the Reluctant Maid quest. I did a search on the forum, and other people had similar problems, but I could not find an answer. Basically, nothing happens. Over 15 in-game days have passed, disposition is maxed out, and nothing. Sometimes the option to prepare the food does not even appear, so there is nothing to do but wait and wait and wait. Is there any command to force the quest forward?

In reluctant housemaid, the only way to "progress" is to either escape or satisfy Pelham enough times so that he will grant you freedom. This is done by routinely serving him, offering to please him, going to bed with him etc. I'm not sure where but some other user made an informative post that detailed the values that each task granted. After you reach a certain value (50, I believe), the questline will advance. As for the food preparation part not happening, try waiting until you are slightly before the exact times that the prompts would come up (detailed in the quest log). You could also free yourself by adding lock picks in console ("player.additem a #" no quotations and the "#" should be replaced by the amount of lockpicks). He should attack and bring you to the dungeon. Maybe after that his ai will function normally again. I can't confirm it however.

  3. ^ Thanks!

Another thing: So I went through the reluctant maid encounter and something happened that I didn't expect. If I choose not to submit the next night (regardless of whether or not I cook and serve all meals) he brings the pc to the basement to punish. Then I am told to go to his room. If I do and I don't submit again, they go back to the basement. After that my pc is forced to sleep on his bed and any sex thereafter is willing (despite my character having more than 1 willpower and my character never accepting Pelham). If I choose not to go upstairs this sort of thing will happen again and again. If I'm not mistaken, at night Pelham is supposed to ask if your character would submit or not, and if you refused, he would rape your character several times and then have you sleep with him on the bed. Could someone confirm this? I could be wrong.

    4) Bounty 4000g -> sentenced to public abuse -> in fact the Justicar will take you directly to the gibbet (without public abuse) and sell to a slave trader that will take you to a

This is actually a completely random occurrence.  Whenever captured by guards with a bounty there is a 5% chance the justicar will be corrupt and take you outside to the gibbets to sell you to a slave trader.  Doesn't matter what your bounty is or how many times you've been caught.

Is there any way to increase the odds of this occuring?  Also, is the justicar set as corrupt the moment he appears or somewhere else along the line?

This looks fantastic so far! One question though, as someone who has been using the first Oblivion Character Overhaul (at nexus) for a while now, how do I safely transition to this one? Or, if this is still a WIP, should I simply wait?

I haven't deleted it, I just forgot to add it on the first page.

It's under the download link for the orc race.

Sorry! I meant this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43612/?

That mod doesn't come with a readme so I'm a bit unsure how to install it. This isn't the right place to ask that, but I was wondering if installing these plugins over the mod I just linked would be fine, or not.

  6. I was playing with the thought to buy Starbound, but before I decide I'd like to hear a bit about some of your reviews; how good is Starbound? How is it actually played, are there any goals?

It's in early access. That means frequent updates, frequent character wipes, new content being added etc. It's being compared to Terraria which is somewhat fair. You know what it looks graphically, and gameplay-wise it's again compared to Terraria and other 2D voxel based games, but it has its own noticeable differences. You can travel between planets, meet sentient life. There are several races to choose from as well, each having their own sort of "history" and backstory to them. It's $14.99 (or whatever equivalent) so it isn't that bad when it comes to pricing, especially compared to other Early Access games *cough* 7 days to die *cough*

Overall I enjoy it, if this kind of thing appeals to you, you should check it out.

  7. Love this mod, espically the random encounters and the way that they chain togeather in unexpected ways

Mildy stuck on Hello sailor, survied the hanging, been used enough times to get out of bed, but stuck when it comes to how to get the manacles off, talked to everyone i can find, been very nice to the orc but nothing happens

One thought is that been this point i've got very low in will power ~10 is that effecting it?

    Hints needed :(

With submission mode on, if your willpower reaches 1, you essentially lose the will to escape, so you won't ever get lockpicks randomly again unless you somehow boost up your willpower, which is usually very difficult. However, you can still find lockpicks within the game world and use them. I would search the entire brothel for anything useful. You might find what you need.

  8. Great concept, this sounds like it has a lot of promise!

    My input:

    1. Scenario:

It's hard for me to choose. The concrete jungle is a classic location for a zombie survival game, and when crafted well, can make for an excellent experience; but it can fall under the "bore trap" like Nonsense said. An island setting is kind of appealing as well. The whole natural survival element coupled with zombie survival mixed in could be really fun. I guess my vote will go to the island for the first scenario. But the concrete jungle would make for a great setting for a future scenario.

    2. Engine:

No preference. I'd say go with whatever engine you and your team are most confident with.

    3. Art Style:

I'll say no to a Bonetown-esque setting. It seems a bit too cartoonish and goofy for the zombie survival genre. Same thing goes for the mincraft style of graphics. Voxel games are fine, it's just that minecraft's graphics are pretty terrible, and the animation quality is so poor it would ruin the sex aspect, along with general gameplay. Since this is a survival horror with some heavy adult themes, I'd stick with an art style that compliments or enhances that aspect.

  9. Awesome mod I have to say, this is a true enrichement for the LAPF framework.

A couple of general questions here where I found no hint in the mod description and before I do something dumb:

    - There are lots of overrides to LoversBitch meshes and textures and a few BU files and even Robert's feet. I guess those are the same as from the original mods and just for the case

someone hasn't installed Loversbitch or BU or Robert's feet ?

    - I can imagine all options in the option menu with exception of the food setting. Is this the setting for beeing fed by your master when you are badly injured or does it serve for anything different ?

-I of course use LoversRapers Wappies Version and there is a setting in the RapersMaster options where you are able to select the possible "bad end" of a rape (aka usualy you

should die of low health). Besides off and perpetual rape you are able to select enslavement. Is this enslavement option linked to PSE (aka leads to a normal PSE enslavement) or is

this a Rapers special option that has nothing to do with PSE? (I sadly can't remember if this option may have shown up after the PSE install or if it was there already before...)

I don't know the answer to your first question but:

-The food setting is there in case you're running a mod that adds hunger and thirst into the game. Since it's pretty much impossible to acquire food in slave mode, your character will be forced to deal with the negative effects (and even die) without hunger mode on. Otherwise it serves no other function except for immersion.

-Yes, the enslavement bad end in WappyOne's version of RaperS utilizes PSE to enslave the player.
