  1. I've managed to make some progress with wolf collisions but since I still haven't figured out blender export/nif-fixing and Outfit Studio refuses to accept creature skeletons it's really slow going. So far I've gotten the SOS bones tacked onto the wolf skeleton with nifskope and I managed to somewhat copy the bone weights with mesh rigger but it's messy at best since I can't get the rigged schlong lined up just right in nifskope. As a result I am getting some collision happening but I can't get it anywhere near where human males and werewolves are yet.

Since I still don't really know much about HDT as a whole I can only guess that my collision shapes are ending up too far ahead of/in front of the actual penis and without blender or Outfit Studio I can't get a more accurate bone weight copy. At the moment, since I don't know where the collision shapes are I'm basically just throwing radius numbers at the xml to see what sticks.

I'm going to fiddle around with it some more, maybe try rigging just the last few genital bones but I'm pretty much at the end of my rope on this. If there's nothing more I can do I'll probably just upload what I've got done so far for someone more competent than me to play with.

  2. For my own use...

I used the Slim Head mesh from http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52086/?

Then using the newer method listed in the Op (nifscope tweaking the femalehead.nif).

I pointed the .nif to Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml...

That way I don't have to have the Havok esp or a hdt.xml copy of the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml file.

So I'm down to 2 xml files the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml (for female) and hdtm.xml for male.

I would post it... but I haven't asked permission from the creator so it wouldn't be appropriate.

Now we just need a hdta.xml for animal and reworking of all of the skeletons in the MNC mod...

please do ask for permissions D:

All I know is that it works with v12-29 of HDT. I have tried the most recent version of HDT and it failed to do belly distortions. I don't know what's changed with that version.

Finally got this to work, however if I quit the game and reload it stops working, is there an easy workaround to this?

It should work with reloads. Have you tried bringing up the console or pressing tab to bring up the menu for 10-20 seconds? This usually stops all other animations and allows the physics to catch up.

I have a question is there a way to get this to work with creatures as well?

    Indeed you can:

I've managed to get Werewolf collisions to work thanks to help from TheOniNinja.

I will attach my compiled files for you guys to test out. Please note that you must wear the HDT havok object (invisible armor) and this requires SOS to work. In order to find the HDT Havok object to wear, open the console and type 'help hdt' and add the code in for the item.

Special thanks to Daiemonic's post here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27122-hdt-collisions-hair-physics-now-with-belly-support-updated-just-another-hdt-xml-file/

well that is good but I was asking regarding creatures such as horses or wolfs perhaps others

Unfortunately, it will not work unless said wolves and horses uses SOS. This is because SOS has collision meshes and weight paints in them.

Other animals simply have a mesh that has no collision detection. Would be nice for someone to make a SOS for creatures though.

I have attempted to make horse collision using SOS bones but it didn't work for me. I used the horsecock addon and attached it, linked the body to hdtm and havok path but it doesn't seem to work. I also tried tying it to hdtmww and that didn't work either.

was thinking about getting battlefield4, but everyones saying its a copy and paste of bf3 and bf3 is a copy and paste of like mw1 but with better graphics so fuck that shit -.-

Actually, cod copied off of the battlefield series, battlefield 1942 was out long before cod1, then came battlefield vietnam, then battlefield 2, then 2142, bad company, bad compny 2, and 1943 fits in there somewhere, but my point is, battlefield 3 was a shitty battlefield 2 with awesome graphics, and bf4 brought back a ton of the bf2 core features *cough commandermode cough*  can't tell you how much fun I have had being commander in bf2 and dropping supply packs onto teammates and giving assholes on my tteam a bit of negative arty reinforcement... deatth

honestly, i liked call of duty, stopped buying the games after 3, tried out modern warfar, it was ok, the mp sucked, it was just a damn infantry slugfest, and I lose interest in infantry only games quickly, which is probably why I tend to stick to battlefield, well, until ea fucks that up too, which is inevitable, look at simcity and command and conquer.... something about a quote by George Santayana- "Those who can't remember the past are doomed to repeat it"

I like blue, and even with that small reduction to the brightness, I think it looks a lot better. I'd still say make it just a bit more muted, but I know your against that. :P So.

I have to stick by somethings sometimes (Otherwise progress is going to slow way too much lol). But still, I like to think I'm pretty open to suggestions most of the time lol.

That's pretty cool you managed to discuss these matters with a dev from DICE, hope it continues to be a valuable source you can contact.

I took your pic and resized it to my native resolution of 1920x1080 & it's looking good, I would still like the bars and such to be even thinner but again it looks good & the difference is notable, please keep in mind this is coming from someone who just does not like HUD.  It will start to grow on me likely when you put some nice effects in or around it.

For the color of it I would choose something that clashes well with the overall colors in your game.  For example the default HUD in Fallout:NV seemed to go well with its environment or the green HUD in Fallout 3 matching its color tones.  This might be something you want to finalize when you have more environments built and textured to your liking.

However if i must choose, then go with blue. (was pink an option? heh  :D)

Looking forward to more of your game and videos!

I actually got msgs back from a few more people just recently, it's really cool how approachable these guys are when it comes to questions and stuff.
Also which part would you like smaller still? The top bar or the lower left?
Yeah I tried to set it to a resolution that would scale well up and down. Glad to see that works :) (Though I'll prob increase the base resolution so it doesn't damage too much later on when someone up scales it)
lol never thought of pink, though I may have to make one now :P

Wonder how the guy from DICE will react when he sees the released game.

I wasn't too specific about the game itself for a good reason lol.

I have a suggestion for the hud, if you would be willing, you could add a slider thing in the options like in fallout new vegas to change the color of the hud to what you like

and also some people are worrying about it getting in the way so you might add a little arrow thing on the hud that can be clicked to minimise the hud

Hiding the HuD will be an option later on, as it's insanely easy to do with the udk. As for coloring it in game? Idk how exactly to do that, but I can look into and see if it's something I can handle.

Well, In fallout new vegas, not sure about fallout 3 as I haven't played in a while there are preset colors for the hud and pipboy in the options menu, green, orange, white, and blue and like the 2 examples of the hud you showed, they are already colored so you could make a slider in the options menu ti switch between them and any other versions you might want to add in the future...
