  1. Hi, I got this fucking thing going on with ENBs lately, just changed my pc so I went and tried better ENBs than Zoners, but all of them have this one thing. It's like some little black squares replacing the shadows, I have no idea how to describe it so I took a screenshot.

    You can see it under the chin if you zoom, tons of black pixels where some shadowing should be. Tried disabling effects one by one to see wtf was going on, but it's still there even with all of them disabled. Which leds me to think it's a problem with my nVidia settings, maybe shadow quality on the configurator ? I tried changing some values but no can do, still fucking there.

  2. In skin base you've got to select "harley body", normally the names show up next to the numbers in the little scrolling tab in Skin Base. You've got to put the whole folder named "Harley Body" into the Mod/ActiveMod folder, then it'll show up as a selection in game. 


     


    Same thing for you Jerle, that may be why the textures ain't showing.

    You need the 4K enabler for higher textures, and the hook4 or hook3 to get the effects I got in my screenshots. It's kind of like enb, but changes a bazillion more things in the game, doesn't kill the fps that much too.

  4. That's what I have over here, and I got the folder, strange... If you want me to send them to you ask away !

     

    Edit : Oh I see, it's the preq you have an issue with. So in short, to keep things simple : .png and .txf files go to Mod/ActiveMod folder, .txx files go to Archives/214.21.21(I think that's the number... You only have one anyway), dlls and other graphic mods go to Binaries. You should have some files that are already into folders, things like "Harley outfit" or smth, just take a look inside and if there are pngs, put the whole folder in the ActiveMod one. If it's a txx instead, only put the txx files into Archives/214.21.21.

     

    If you have a folder you downloaded called ModelXXXX, drop it into Save/Model. 

    Simple as hell for real, I was confused too at first but after very little time it becomes completely natural.

  5. I can't figure out how to install the mods necessary for the Harley Quinn mod.  It's saying specific folders and I don't have them.

     

    Is it the mod called "New Harley" ?

     

    Just drop everything inside the root folder of the game, it'll create the folders at the same time so you can put other mods directly in them after that. You'll need to take the latest AddOn script, easily found on the website, and put it inside the Archives folder, there should be another folder with a number as name inside that Archives one, just drop the script in there. 

     

    If you're starting I'd advise looking in Graphical Improvements tab on the mods website, and taking Hook4, drop everything into Binaries. Dramatically changes the game !

    Funny story tho, once I checked some sex screenshots in the school's library, like completely out of boredom. Spent no more than 10 minutes and of course the IT guy must've seen the screen on the central computer, so the website got blocked. Pretty sure he wanted to see which kid was watching 3d girls being boned by chaurus, so I stood up immediately and ran to the other side of the library to advise some dude who was looking for a book. A mere 30 seconds later, the IT guy comes a' running and sees a single kid using one of the computers. He looked at him with an absolutely disgusted expression and told him "I know it's you, aren't you ashamed ???".  I left immediately, just in case the kid saw me leave the computers room... Hope he is okay tho  :s

    Yeah. Yeah. It's Liz AND Quinn. Holy shit. I've had nerdgasms before but this one is off the fucking charts.

     

    For those who don't know what it is, just check it out on google, you'll find the website you need pretty fast. (Don't know if I can mention it here or not). It's a pretty damn old modded game, but hey I've only started playing it a month ago, maybe there are others like me who never heard of it before.

    Wow I'm amazed she looks so good on your rig, to be honest it was a hurried test I made on Racemenu Beta, when sculpting was first introduced. I thought her face was way too flat, did you notice that too ? Also her nose has been smoothed too much, if you try to look at her from the sides you realize her nose is actually a shark's fin ahaha, thank god the normal map hides that shit...

I don't have a problem with body scaling, per se.  I have a problem with making two meshes exactly the same, but shaped differently.  Double the work load for minimal results.  The only other body scaling I've messed with was a few of the functions for Saints Row 3 and Genesis morph packs for 3DPoser back when the Victoria4 body was new.  SR3 was limited but it was for a game.  Virtually ANYTHING was possible with Genesis and V4 (fat, skinny or anything in between for any body section you want).  IF FO4 uses body morphs and ONE body mesh then I'm all for body scaling.  If they did it for FO4 the way they did for Skyrim it will just be one more Bethesda game I'll tinker with for a little while and not mod seriously.

     

    You don't absolutely need to provide both of the scaled mesh converts, you could just force people to use the weight your body was designed for ! I know it's not the best solution but hey, if transforming the mesh to suit the different scales is that bothersome you can still force people not to use what you did not do and want to do. I got a shit ass ton of custom converts and ports I'll probably never share since I'm too lazy to ask for permission, and I've never once did more than one version, it's not that big of a deal to stay at the same weight all game long and just modify shit you don't like with RM's extended sliders IG, in skyrim. 

     

     

    But yeah, talking about bodies, I do think like you, if it's gonna be another cluster fuck of different body mods where you need like 6 files all the damn time just to load a body mesh, it gets annoying pretty quick. Morphs would indeed be easier and faster. And we could finally make use of 3ds like it was meant to be used ...

    I just hope they don't jump back and forth with this because I really don't want to see another Fallout by Obsidian. I hope my instincts are wrong when I say that I hope they don't do this trend of Bethesda doing the eastern states and Obsidian covering the western states with an expansion like FNV.

     

     

    I do hope they do it though. So far vanilla FO4 looks really enjoyable (okay we didn't see much but what we've seen so far actually amounts to a pretty good foundation, and if mods follow I'm sure it'll be enjoyable anyway), and if Obsidian does what they do best, which is listening to player base and doing even better than Bethesda, FO4's Obsidian expansion if it exists will kick nuclear asses.

  11. I'd seriously prefer a boring loading screen to a jittery mess of a claustrophobia-inducing corridor or conveniently placed boulders at the entrance of some Vault. For real, I know it works wonders in Witcher 3 but in a Bethesda game you can't just limit the size of interiors just so you can enter it without any loading screen. Loved Witcher 3, yet I still want some huge underground panoramas in FO4 just like those buried castles in Skyrim or gigantic caves, and you just can't do that without a proper loading screen. One of the biggest beef I have with RPGs nowadays really, it's like interiors suddenly become a suitable reason to go back 30 years and transform what was an exploration open world RPG into a Doom-style corridors maze. Once or twice if it fits the lore of the place, alright, but it doesn't mean all caves and all underground spaces have to be corridors with pretty much the exact same layout (which is : "Oh I can go left here... Ah shit another chest ! And of course the fucking walls just had to cave in right behind it, I have to go all the fucking way back now dammit")

  12. Their face morph thing during E3 and the way they emphasized "lack of sliders" for the face creation (at least for adjusting head mesh) makes me really think that they finally dumped out FaceGen (and .tri files) for a proper head skeleton and skinning.

     

    So who knows, maybe bethesda finally hired competent animators and we'll see not a completely bare skeleton.

     

    Didn't they post jobs offers some months back about animators and modellers ? I might've been dreaming though.

    Burned my video card on Witcher 3 with those scorching hot temperatures in Europe man, sorry... 

    You can still use her if you set everything to default or to other overlays in RaceMenu, really easy to do. Just go to bodypaint/facepaint tabs or whatever they're called these days, and select other paints then set them back to default, the violet textures should disappear. Ah and you can also download the requirements, without activating their ESP in your mod manager, RM will pick up the textures it needs.

    Forgot about them, still they're not in a Vault ! I want my cannibals infested Vault ! Something like a group of people living in luxury quarters, and other members of the vault being only used as cattle y'know, maybe with a little creepy something like "making them believe one of them is allowed to leave to the surface per week"...

  15. I've tried all that. What's worrying me is that nobody else seems to have a quest there, leading me to believe mine is bugged and that exclamation mark either doesn't belong there or has been misplaced from somewhere else. 

     

    Seems someone else ran into it too, though no solution. 

     

    The quest system is a bit buggy, I got the same thing happened to me on Skellige, a quest marker on a druid somewhere, except he never really starts any quest, he just walks around and says "What ?" when you talk to him. 

    But I think what's there is a special event that you can see sometimes on the road, like bandits trying to burn a house down or a wounded merchant on the side of the path ... If you walk by without doing anything, the bandits burn the house, the merchant dies etc, which means you "failed" the quest. Maybe you did that without being aware of it, yet the quest marker stayed there.
