    Well, fresh Skyrim installation. No lighting mods, only LAL, KS Hairs, and a custom beauty pack that 郁秋实 released.

    What do you guys think?

    *Heads-up, Mirror - you've got a neck-seam there. Which body & textures are you using? You'll be able to fix it pretty easily. :)

     

    *Is that [Chinese Writing Here] pack based on Bella's textures by any chance? The shadowing on the face texture seems a little muddy (the old "5 o'clock shadow" problem which Bella's textures seemed to have in many peoples' games) & that combined with the clashing tint colours does seem to give a strange look here, something I have seen in several of the Chinese-made skin sets (an overall effect of a "muddy olive" tone rather than "olive" or "Asian"). Have you thought of trying some different skins & tints? :huh:

    Here's a guy! Small image to show of what I'll be focusing on next. Anyone got nice armor/clothing for males to recommend? I'd appreciate it!

    P.S. Should I use a non-traditional color of hair ie red, purple, pink; or should I stick with the basics ie blonde, brown, black?

    Nice work on this character, Broken Mirror! My advice: Stick to the believeable, which will compliment this characters face, rather than the lolwuts which will not. :)

    My sincere condolences to you, your family, and everyone who considered your father as their friend. He was a joy in this modding community, I loved reading his posts in the Skyrim Counterpart thread and he was a great man.

    Yup, try out SweetFX. It's amazing and looks as nice as the ENBs! :)

    I'm using SweetFX as well and I'm glad my Skyrim is back to it's 50-60fps and not the meager 30fps XD

    Gotta be caring to our potatoes and make sure we don't ruin them! :)

    Playing around with SweetFx settings. Decided to import old Tera SweetFx into Skyrim, still too bright and yellow/orange. Will have to keep playing around with it. Oh and found the Lamp Follower Mod from somewhere here, thanks to you whoever you are!

    Vampslayer armor works well with Lilith's weaponry. And gotta love the new jewelry! :D

    how is any of what i said unfair to the learning process? i already said that outside help to get started and inspired by is fine. if anything hinders learning it's them not even trying to experiment. practical exp is the most useful.

     

    P.S i have zero clue to what "vile" thing you may be referring to because i am never like it.

    I never said unfair to the learning process. I was referring to the people that you refer to as 'no not like that Zombi. i mean only for those that don't do anything and want a entire preset done for them. tweak ideas or as you said inspiration are completely alright. ' And the second paragraph was me trying to play devil's advocate ( which I apparently cannot do :/ )

    And the vile comment was for anyone who was reading and disagreed with me. I know there are many, many vocal and toxic players in our community. I was warning them, not specifically you.

    It's just like in the requests threads, the only reason is just plain laziness. That's just about it. They want everything handed to them on a silver platter. We have a saying for people like that in Chinese: "公主病" which literally translates into "the princess disease".

    You may make the argument of any said person who wants something done for them because they don't know how to do it but that's called the learning process. Learn, fail, rinse and repeat until you're totally happy with what you have achieved.

    There may be people that disagree with me on this, you're welcome to message me, but note, if you're gonna be vile, don't bother, I'm not gonna respond to hate.
