Yes, the Silverswords are considered by the game to be bandits but there is something weird going on in that cell that I haven't quite figured out. When I played through it, the kids were armored okay but there were a couple big, male Nords wearing female X117 armor! (Which caused them to be floating heads and weapons with invisible bodies, not as hilarious as one would hope.) I think I fixed that before the last update but I'll take another look at that group.
I ran into the same thing myself. i couldn't figure out what was going on with the floating heads. As Pervibastard said earlier, "thanks for the 'heads-up.'"

-Donation system: Similar to donating to a beggar, just a donation chest in the orphanages.

When I try to go in the orphanage, it hangs up on the loading screen and I can never get inside. I opened the .esp file and moved them into Honeyside, but got the same thing. I also tried console commands to find their ids and use player.placeatme. Placeatme worked for some but not all. Blossom worked, I think Juniper crashed it. I haven't tried all of them yet. I was thinking about individually disabling them, entering Honor Hall, then reenabling them one at a time. I Dunno.

A Peeping Tom Keyhole mod.
Skyrim needs a way to peer through keyholes/doors/windows so sneak thieves can see what/who is in a room before barging in.
Along those lines, we need a way to enter through windows as well. There is probably someone working on that already though.

• Wrote more for Jo’s background.
• Jo’ was kind of the afterbirth of this conception, so I have stumbled around a little with creating his character. If you have any ideas on how to expound on a strange outcast wizard feel free to get creative.
• I thought a good name for this group could be the Misfit Caravan, but that’s a little cliché. Any good ideas are welcome.

I can't get the UFO mod to work properly with these girls. I've uninstalled both of the mods half a dozen times and reinstalled as per UFO's fail-safe instructions' date=' but I still can't have more than one follower at a time, and the follower won't Stay Put or leave when I dismiss her. I've disabled almost all of my other mods, only leaving the essentials (CotS and the cosmetic mods to make it work, armor, and Dovahkin hideout+retreat). I suppose next I'll try disabling the hideouts, since they have NPCs and that might be messing with the mod. There's also the lady merchant for the CotS armor mod, but if I disable that I'll lose all my armor..
edit: uninstalling the hideout+retreat didn't help. Hm.

I use Extensible Followers Framework and Mad Companionship Spells for 30+ followers. ExtFollowers is great for leading a few players on trips, MCS will keep up with everyone and not conflict with other mods. With MCS you can set them on 'free' then summon them when you need them.

When you have time, I could really use some feedback about what is possible/doable in my suggestions. I have written a lot of different ideas in there but if some of it just not possible given the time frame I can skip it and concentrate on other ideas.
Anyhow, just whenever you have time, I will continue to work on the dialogue for these six characters. I do have ideas for continued quests and making it bigger if you're interested as well.

Update:
Okay, a few changes to note.
Changelog
• Fleshed out dialogue for Do’Sun, Ma’Domrémy, and Ri’Chei. Still need more background lines.
• Wrote a dialogue for Ma’Domrémy explaining her sexual experience.
• I will put the information about the caravan under Ri’Chei’s dialogue.
• Added one back story for Ri’Chei: Story of the wagon.
• Lots of other dialogue comment additions.
• Added ability for Rémy to see enemies/prey at great distances. She will spontaneously attack.
In the spoiler I included the story of the wagon and how the group started their adventure towards Skyrim.
I have also attached the main Word file as well as a text version for those who don't want to actually download anything. It is much harder to read than the Word file though, and the Word file also contains hyperlinks.
If you like the story, or notice something I got wrong, let me know. I love feedback.

1 - PC: More about the caravan.
1a – P C: Where did you ever find this wagon?
RC: Ri’Chei bought this wagon near Anvil. The man who sold it to Ri’Chei said, (Switch to Texan accent) “Life in a caravan is not just a job, son, it’s an adventure.” Honestly, Ri’Chei was not thinking clearly, his wife and cubs had been executed by the Thalmor in Valenwood. Ri’Chei witnessed their deaths while he was chained and beaten. He longed for death and desired to join his family. He would have accomplished this wish if Dar’Lao and Do’Sun had not taken him that night. They had arranged his transport out of the region with Dro’Tariza. She was traveling with the Coven of Namira. At the border, they told the guards that I was their snack for the road. Ri’Chei was in the deep sleep, and his heart beat very slow. The guards were horrified with the thought of eating a hairy Khajiit and a little intimidated by my friend Do’Sun, so, they let us pass.
PC: I am so sorry. But was the wagon really for adventuring?
RC: Ri’Chei’s plan for the wagon was to fill it with explosives and drive it into the base of Falinesti. One large blast would bring that walking metropolis to its crashing end.
PC: Vengeance, that sounds better.
RC: It was a good plan. Dro’Tariza had her reservations, but did not voice them out of respect for my loss. The inside of the wagon is very convenient for the big boom. When the door opened, however, we had our own surprise. The furless one, Ma’Dom, sat naked in the floor and in her hand she clutched three arrows. She raised her eyes till they caught mine then she leapt at me swinging the arrows towards my face. Ri’Chei stumbled backwards; Do’Sun caught her in the air. He took the arrows from her hand and held her by her throat, his fingers stretching completely around her neck. Ri’Chei saw her face in the light. It was beaten, badly, like his own. Do’Sun offered to snap her neck.
PC: Obviously he didn’t.
RC: This one considered it. He then asked Do’Sun to hang her by her foot from the nearby tree. Dar’Lao brought back some meat and Dro’Tariza cooked a meal. We sat in silence all night. The moon was good that night. Ri’Chei had not seen a good moon for a long time. The furless one was quiet too. She did not cry; she did not plead. The Khajiit thought that maybe she died. The humans die very easy. In the morning, Ri’Chei opened his eyes and met her penetrating stare. Ri’Chei fears nothing, but her fierce, emotionless, cold eyes chilled him. Her pain rivaled his own. We cut her down and tied her to the back of the wagon. Ri’Chei took the reins and headed north. One story ends where another begins, no?

I was talking with my girlfriend about this and she's helping me with a few ideas for a small little "group" dialogue thing' date=' with an Argonian and Khajiit; both males.
She was kinda sad that in skyrim there is a lack of characters with a certain story about their past's. Wanted harden criminals to be suddenly looking for a new pace of life (like I did with Romius) who's a mass serial killer type.

I liked the Romius Character: tragic backstory, Emotionless murderer. Fun stuff.
BTW, Have you seen the Interesting NPC's mod? It adds a lot of new NPCs many with voiced lines, and loads of dialogue. the stories are well written too.
Writing these characters has been a lot of fun. I'll post an update in a little bit.

Oh, and for added fun, I based all of the characters off of famous, but dead, historical figures. Don't worry about the Albino Argonian. Still working on him.

well, I have good news and bad news.
The good news is I went big. The bad news is I went really big. I have been harboring some ideas for companions for a while. This competition has forced me to actually put them into writing. In the word file I have included a changelog and The BIG Idea/ Wish List. I'm not sure how much is feasible given the time frame, but I just wanted to get everything down that I could. Dar'Lao is pretty much playable dialogue wise. I think I have written all the necessary parts and included a nice part where he tells about his background. I'm sure I will continue to tweak and add more until the due date. BTW, added two females, be proud, one with some lines, the other i've sketched ideas for. If you open the file in Word, I have included hyperlinks to examples or ideas.

I don't know if it's intended but Alicia's dialogue options replace the ones from MultipleMarriage. This makes it so it's nearly impossibl to switch Alicia's equipment' date=' she'll always be stuck wearing the fur armor, kind of annoying. I give her the items to wear but she doesn't wear it. Sometimes she'll wear it but immediately switch back to the fur armor. The MultipleMarriage mod had an option "I'd like you to wear this...", which forces the new equipment on the follower and refreshes.

You can set Alicia's clothes with NPC Clothes Changer and Maintainer. I've used it forever and haven't had any problems with it.

Mad Companionship Spells works great with these girls. That is if you can use it before they attack. They made mince meat of me in short order. There is also a MCS spell that will stop combat.

Of these bat files, I try to use "setfriend." It is less intrusive than the others. Use "follower" if nothing else works. It will reset all the faction settings on the NPC, but it is effective when the other bat files don't work.

Ok, I'm going to put this out there. It is a Khajiit companion with a lot of useful features. There is still more work to do, just let me know if the character piques your interest.

I'm just curious, when the PC is sneaking or naked, normal NPC's always have their snide comments, can we add our own?

Can we get an update to include a wait command at least? I know you have many ideas and were just playing with this but I think it would be a shame to let it go stagnant. If you don't plan on expanding her can you through up a 7z with the other sound files that were for her so someone else can work on it for you? Personally I would make the changes even to my own game just to use this already great mode to a greater extent. Have never done the dialog or scripting in Skyrim but to complete this mode more I'd learn it.

Under favor dialogue or w/e it sent them to' date=' they are also in the esp as well under the misc favor dialogue tab I just removed the actual dialogue option line with the script to make her wait etc.I don't know if there is a way to get it to work right with the way I programmed it, because all she is is infinite loop scenes and for some reason entering a favor state breaks the scenes, even when I tried to tell it to stop and resume when over etc.
I will play with it on the next comp mod and if I find a reasonable work around I will update her. Trouble is still VA's

The VA for Alicia was great, and the character added a lot to the game. Is there a chance for a continued saga of Alicia? My favorite parts are when she's in battle. Perfect.

I have not tried out descent yet as there are quite a number of quest mods (as good as it may be). Alicia however is a high quality companion mod, one of few.
You are looking at it the wrong way.

Love this mod. Great followers and quests. I do wish Snowflakes little town had a better layout to live in. I used Tundra Defense to set up villagers and build stuff. It would be interesting to have a CaerNaFaille reborn. It is very scenic and would be fun to rebuild it.
I also saw Greybeard Apprentices by icespiders today. I thought it would be interesting to have CoTS Apprentices instead that could also become followers.
Oh well, just some thoughts.
