I'm an "expert" on the latter.

Last night, I talked to someone about my own identifying as bigendered, and after some talking about it, in which they said they had never talked about such a subject, I seem to have helped someone move a little bit closer to a better, fuller understanding of themselves.

I'm not saying the walking animations are bad, I'm saying that the walking animations, for both male and female, have a very specific tone/personality to them, and if you are attempting to portray anything outside of a "oh baby" personality that appears to strut everywhere, unless you can change your walking animation, you're out of luck.

Yes, this is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine.

Why every sex-related product thinks that the male head is attached to the side of their torso, I have no idea.

As for being better than SL, it will have to pass quite a few tests, in regards to all that it can offer, in terms of just how much user creativity it welcomes, be it custom content or supporting less "popular" fetishes, or doing things outside of the standard "looking for sex" scenario.

I also guarantee you, that just like SL, a great amount of it's population will be filled by people who want to hope onto poses and go "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." That's to be expected. I just find myself wondering if it will be set up to provide any sort of refuge for those looking for an experience that stimulates a few more brain cells.

Edit: Checked out the video. 1: Wow. That walking animation. DAT STRUT. Seriously, if you can't change that walking animation for the male, then no. and 2: no height slider. Yay.

Yea, I remember an amusing post very similar to yours about the campaign structure. It was also followed by a gif with Tracy Morgan saying no. It might have been your post, hahaha!

Aged well is kinda vague. I should've said I have been spoiled by all these new games that streamlined the RPG formula and I was afraid I was going to regret my purchase. One day I will man up and make sure to play thru the whole game when I get it.

The problem with Neverwinter Nights isn't really whether or not you feel it has aged well, but how you react to the way the campaign is structured. I hated it, but others could easily love it. I made quite a few characters, actually, trying out what I assumed was "just a tutorial part" of the campaign, before I finally had one get to the next part. And I'll admit. Maybe it's a little hypocritical. I know a lot of game's campaigns might be simply described as "you have to go here/get this," but yet they are still fun. But the Neverwinter Nights campaign just... it felt like it was exactly that if that makes sense, it didn't have anything more to it than "getting four things." But it may not feel like that to others!

I'm not a realistic fanatic like those ARMA fans. But even I have preferences on the art direction. But if I do more along FO and TES it'd take all the longer to develop. By the time you got it, I'd be in my 50s and most LL members who see this may have passed on.

Seriously though, I don't think the desire is so much for "ZOMG IT MUST BE AS HYPER-PHOTO-REALISTIC-HIGH QUALITY AS POSSIBLE" as it's just a desire not to have a "goofy," "cartoon" look, like Bonetown. For example, "Unforbidden" is being made in the unity engine, and just has a "low quality," basic female model. That model, honestly, is perfectly fine. Do I think that face looks the greatest? Not really. But I'd much prefer that look as opposed to the "wacky" cartoons of a lot of "money-made" western porn games, e.i. games made by companies wanting to make money, not people just making an adult game on the side, as a project, or something. (For another example of the "wacky" look, think of a lot of the pay-site flash games, like that crappy "pornholio-U" game series, or whatever it is. (Though it is not too-far into the "wacky" side of things... but it still has "that look."))

Concrete Jungle > Island

However: A concrete jungle done well can be amazing (fallout 3), but not done well, it's "just another map" at best, and boring at worst. A jungle could potentially be an "easier to get 'good enough'" scenario, if not as compelling a base idea.

As for the whole genders being able to engage in certain sex acts thing, any option planned for that to be a toggle? It's perfectly acceptable that you have a certain vision for your game and don't want to so readily compromise it, so it's perfectly fine if you say no. But to be able to essentially configure it to where it was "breeding" rape zombies as opposed to "horny" rape zombies would be a lot better for me.

Forced into a sex scene from Lover's Victim mod. Now the guard follows me around and just says one line. He won't give me a bounty or anything. I'm using Prison overhaul and all of the requirements for this mod. I'm on a new game so I can't teleport far away atm, maybe that will fix it. The guard has no dialog options for me.

I'm having the same issue (though I am not using the prison overhaul.) Victim rape scene -> one of the companions is acting as a "guard" and "frees" me, then follows me around saying the "rapist scum" line. I tried disabling the guard option in submit, but that didn't fix it, and disabling it in this mod just stops them from stopping the act at all. Moved it to the bottom of the load order, but the problem still persisted.

And here we have it: post number 1000. 

So I'll just say that this community has been pretty freaking sweet, and I can't believe it's been such a long time since it started out, way back then, and I joined it just small time from the very, very start. I still remember wolflore, and getting the lovers with pk mods from that place, before they randomly decided to enact their "rape mods are wrong" policy. But looks like out of something bad came something good: Loverslab, and the various things that have emerged from it.

And amazingly enough, I was somehow lucky enough that even though I bought the new, limited edition version of Fable 2 (and totally loved the game), buying a new version of Fable 3 just didn't cross my mind, even though at the time, I had done no research on it and assumed it would be amazing. 

Then I bought a used version of Fable 3. I can't remember for how much. 20? 40?

Either way, I sure as hell fucking regret it. 

But to be honest, I probably wouldn't have realized how bad it is without playing it. So.

Saint's Row the Third is a not-so-close second.

(As much as I hate it, it's actually a good game on its own. Fable 3 just plain sucks.)

To offer a, well, not really a counter point... just a slightly different perspective on the whole "He's a guy so he wants to fuck you" thing. I'm not saying that opinion is "wrong," as in regards to that he's interested in you. Sure, he can be interested in you. And yes, maybe that's the "root" or "base" of his interest. However, who knows. It could easily be just one facet of his interest and appraisal of you as someone of value to his life. That's from my own personal experience: Apparently a woman is interested in me. I begin to become friends with this woman. I am feeling so very happy, and I feel this woman is interested in me. I bring up the question of us possibly having more than friendship. She says no. Does this hurt? Yup. But was that "all I wanted" from her? Absolutely not. There are a lot of people that shout out that for a man to be friends with a woman, sex has to be a part of it. It doesn't. I still value her as a friend, simple as that. I know that's not the case for all, but it can still end up being the case. Just offering that other view point. 

And for the record, I wish you the best of luck, and the greatest of happiness, whichever way this turns out for you.

IMO, guys are meant to hook up with girls, and girls are meant to hook up with guys. Go ahead...try to be friends. If you find them attractive, or they find you attractive, then you've got an emotional rollercoaster on your hands. A disaster, just waiting to happen. If a guy's nice to you, and wants to hang out with you, or call you, or anything like that, he wants you. Period. Being "friends" with someone you know likes you is cruel. Cut it out!!

Sometimes you can't have some things. That's okay. There is nothing wrong with a relationship developing to another branch than what might have happened. I say this as someone with friends who are women. Some are in relationships. Some are not. Am I attracted them? Yup, I'm attracted to a lot of women. And you know what? I'm okay with being friends with them, it sure as hell isn't "cruel" of them to do that to me. In fact, it's quite wonderful.

I'm nice to people because I try to be a decent human being.

 

The most important thing is to simply be... emotionally flexible? Bah. I feel that's far too cold a term for it. I don't know. Just view people as human beings first, not as their gender. I'm not saying don't see their gender, we all do that. But just because I'm friends with someone, and they are a woman, doesn't mean I'm hurting because I don't get to fuck her. I'm friends with her. That's great, and that's all I need from her. If one day, one of these female friends was like "hey, I'm interested in more" I might be like "okay" for some of them. For some of them maybe not. It's all based on the individual. Hell. I think I'm just rambling without a goal or purpose now. 

 

But yeah. Women who are friends with me who I find attractive: don't cut it out. You are more to me than just a goal, a prize, a trophy, or a conquest. You are a human being, and I value you as such.

The old orc will do that if you fight him and lose and have defeat or submit installed now. Just a FYI.

This is true, however, it requires your character to be willing to want to try and give the Orc a good death. A lot of my characters aren't. So maybe some added dialog to where he simply states that he's GOING to fight you, to see if you give him a good death. Alternatively, a dialog path where you ask him about why he can't take a wife at his age, maybe ask if he can still have children or something, and that prompts him to you know... show the player that he still can! Just ideas, hah.  

But yes, defeat and submit do add great potential to rp value for vanilla events, don't they? =D

Here's a bit of an idea for this, which also kinda branches off into it's own idea. Maybe more of a partner mod to this?

What about giving encounters the same treatment as the quests? To be honest, there can be potentially more rape-y content added with the random encounters as well. Stuff like the fugitive assaulting you if you snitch on him or give the stolen item back. Or maybe that old orc warrior decides that he WILL take a wife (or at least breed). Maybe the drunken revelers had a little too much to drink and are feeling handsy. Etc, etc.

About the #2:

 

You can actually (If I understood well Aroused's features) do it manually in game. Point your crosshair on a NPC, press the "N" key. Open the Aroused MCM menu, "Puppet" page.

You should see that the name of the "owner" is the same of the NPC you targeted. So, you can change his/her own individual values.

 

Make this thing directly with the mod is almost impossible because it should mean to edit every one NPC in the game using the CK. A terrific and dangerous work.

As was said you can edit manually any specific NPC via MCM.

I can make default values vary depending on NPC values, but be more specific : what values should be set for guard?

Bah. If it's something that's that troublesome, then it's no big deal, if it's not a needed feature. But I thought that there were other mods that also could change how NPCs were "treated" according to their various status: moral, immoral, etc. I could swear that there were some mods, though I'm not sure if it was for Oblivion or Skyrim, that could have certain values be different for different kinds of NPCs. But hell if I know. I'm no expert on inner workings, hah. For all I know all that can be done with that is "toggles." As in "Guards/Moral NPCs won't rape, Immoral ones will" were as things like adjusting rates for each type of NPC aren't possible. I think it was in Joburg for Oblivion that you could do things like adjust the rate of rape for things like important characters, non-important, something like that. Again, I honestly have no idea if it's actually possible... sorry if it seems like I'm acting like I know more than you guys. Just babbling, for the most part.

And yup yup, sorry I didn't mention that I was aware of that. I know each individual NPC can be edited, but to be honest, that's just far too tedious and too specific for what I'm thinking of. (not that it's not a good feature.) It's not so much thinking "this character should be adjusted to X" but an idea of that certain types of characters should have a different rate of increase. Again, this is just a random thought in my mind. to be honest, I crank up the increase rate to 2.9 so it hardly matters, hah. 

As for what values I personally was thinking, I was just thinking that guards/moral npcs have one set of values, where as immoral ones have a higher rate of increase. I can't honestly say I know enough about the settings to recommend anything specific. Maybe... I dunno. For my own settings, I might put the guards/moral npcs anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 with the immorals from 3 to 4.

And let me just say again: mostly talking out of my ass here. But if it inspires a good idea that others like, then great!

Preface: I'm using Aroused (as well as for a framework for other mods) along with Victim in order to have a rapist mechanic in my game. (I just set my armor to count as nude. So being around NPCs for long enough, has them lusting after my character.)

On to my two questions:

1: Are there some NPCs that are restricted from raping the NPC with Victim? I realize this is the "wrong thread" for the question, but I figured it would be less of a bother to make the questions in one post, than post the two in separate threads. It just seems like there are some NPCs who will just NOT get into a brawl with my character. (Jaree-Ra, for example.)

2: Are there any plans/possibilities to extend the options for Aroused to be more than just a general setting, and individual settings for each NPC? Something like settings different values depending on Moral/Immoral/Guard, or different values based on race or something like that. Just curious!
