    I got the power supply because I wanted to be ready for SLI if / when I can afford it / want to do it. I know atm it is overkill but I plan on putting more into this build as time goes on. This is the core build and so I wanted something that I know is future ( for a while anyway ) proof. Since I am also thinking of adding in 3D / 3D blueray down the road, I have no idea how this would effect power usage and so wanted to prepare. Was it to future proof?   Liquid cooling I went with because, to be honest, I'm sick of cleaning out my CPU fan blades. Getting the damn heatsink off, all cleaned out with a q-tip and vacuum, then remounted is, for me at least, just a HUGE pain in the ass. Having 13 years ago used liquid cooling and having the comparison, I decided I liked the ease of it more then anything else.   For OS, Ya I really don't know. The RAM has a bundle with windows 7 for 10 bucks off ( 99 usd ) and I already have windows 7 on this PC. However windows 8 was only like 40 bucks more so I don't know if it is worth it or not.    You are saying the SSD IS a good choice for an OS drive? That was one of the things I have spent the most time on picking out. I have no idea really, but newegg seemed to like it.

SHAYDOW'S FAYDOW'S SHADER ( say that time 10x fast ). ( Probably NSFW )   So I was taking some shots today, playing around with a few things, as I do, and I realized that some of the shots I have shared here have had a shader on that is specific to my Celestials mod, and some don't. I decided to show the difference and ask what one you guys like better.   Before and after 1 :   What do you think? On or off?   *edit* To clarify, this is an in game shader effect, nothing to do with enb / etc. It was created using the CK.

  Hi buddy. Let me explain what needs to be done in order for this to be used for male instead of female :     The Skeleton needs to be replaced. This includes behavior files.   All the animations that are feminine need to be replaced ( or any you do not like when males use / want different )   All the armor / body .nifs need to be replaced.     Uhhhh, am I missing something? I probably am.   My best advice is look at FILE STRUCTURE in my mod. Look at everything my mod has in it and learn what it does. Once you do you will know how to replace / change what is needed. You basically need to rebuild my entire mod, and since I ONLY play female characters, you can see why I didn't want to do it twice.   GL.   *EDIT* Just an edit, once someone DOES rebuild the whole thing, if they leave the file structure the way it is, it would be just as easy for male characters then to use it and replace what they want. Go ahead and give me a thanks or even a based on in credits, but release it if you like as your own. It's gonna take some work and by then you would earn that right. Plus you need to know a bit of stuff about modding to get it to work, however this mod does NOT need any scripting knowledge. Again, Good Luck!

So anyway I've been putzing around with the armor. Every time I've made a new character to play through the game I always change up the armor in some way. I may still use some previous ones in my mashup, but I always settle on something different for each character in the end.   I'm... sorry? If you look through this thread you can clearly see people without any issue at all, even follwing the advanced instructions to change anything about the VL they wanted. SOOOOOOOO.... I wonder who's fault its not working for you might be?   Yes, I've gotten much more cynical.   P.S Edit : anyone not complaining it doesn't work and has been tracking this mod, I have in fact been working on a newer version of it. It will still take me some time to flesh out what I want to do, but needless to say, I think it is pretty awesome. Don't hold this post against me however.

I can't do much without fear of the computer exploding. GOOD NEWS however, State Tax returns this year is over 2k$+ , due to thankfull things, and all the money has been promised to me for building a new computer. Soon my pretties, soon . . . .

So, have not posted in awhile. Ya my video card ate it. Took me a while to be able to get my hands on one that could run My Skyrim the way I had it for the most part. Let's all admit, once you know what you CAN do, it's hard to go back to before that.   Anyway, this card is not all THAT great but works, so I fired up the old game and tried to remember what I was doing before the card died ( hey no card = no computer = no modding ), got my hands on a bunch of newer mods to me, such as the newest racemenu, created a new character from scratch, and present to you, Faiydow.   NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING CONTAIN NO " Nudity " BUT ARE PROBABLY NOT SAFE FOR WORK.     I was just playing and was on Molag Bal's quest, when the house goes nuts, and this was the lighting / enb setting as the color shifted do to the quest while I stood in front of the fireplace. I really liked these shots, I hope you do to.     Anyway, I hope you all like them as much as I liked taking them. If you did I may take more shots during my adventure and share them.

So yeah! Some asshole pisses me off and steals my shit and because of it you guy get a blog update! AAAAAANYWHO..... SO ya, as I told you guys 2 months or so ago, I would NOT be around this summer ( in the USA ) due to 3 factors: 1) My wife has a new WELL paying Union Job but has to work 1pm to 1am. This leads to 2... 2) My kids didn't get to go to the Jersey shore and be with my sister this summer like they do every year ( she had her own damn problems, OK?! ). As a Stay At Home Dad ( Mr.Mom ), this meant I had to manage THEM a LOT more this summer.... leading to 3...... 3) I WANTED to be with my kids this summer. I spent time with them. We went out and DID things, forest walks, watching Ted Talks Kids together, discussing the very nature of reality, existence, and science. I'm OH SO SORRY I did not have time to answer all your questions / update my mod / help YOU fix your dumbass problems, I was a little busy loving my girls and trying to be a great dad and do my job. Did I upset YOU? Well, I really don't give two flying fucks...... ON THAT NOTE : I didn't forget you guys either! Take it for what you will, but not just me, but my WIFE ( ladyJag, of LadyJag's Modest Celestials ) have been working on the mod every damn chance we get! What is DONE you ask?   No. There are reasons why animations don't want to work with behaviors if you straight up replace them. See my above about how that is how I made that mod. It also had broken the power attacks for the first versions of this mod. Groovetama was nice enough to take them and knowing how to work with animations fix them sot hey had the right flag to work when flagged as this race instead of the race the animation was made for. If you want to replace them, you will have to ask Groovetama how he did it.

  Actually the fix is simple and part of a new patch I am working on,. It has nothing to do with tri's. Instead, in the CK, you need to look under the race entry for VampireBeastRace for female. Then look and see what options are checked for Face Data. Both Overlay head parts list and Override head parts list need to be UNCHECKED. Everything should then work fine for ANY head data you want to use.

Good new everyone! So I've just had TO much shit in my Skyrim install. My game has been running like ASS and started a near infinite C++ and or CTD problem. I've installed and uninstalled so many things I knew it was my own damn fault, SO MANY LOOSE SCRIPTS. Plus, my computer is not all that great, something I've never told you guys and if you watch my Let's Play you would be AMAZED when I told you what I was actually running my Skyrim on lol ( hardware wise ). So Anyway, I made a backup of EVERYTHING I had, and then proceeded to delete the SHIT out of EVERYTHING in my Skyrim Folder. I didn't just get it down to Vanilla, I broke it and deleted even more then I was suppose to ( had to let Steam fix it ). I even deleted all the stuff in AppData AND in the My games ( Yup CLEAN install ). I then, over the last FOUR DAYS ( yup it has taken me 4 days ), began to reinstall ONLY the mods I REALLY wanted and or I made myself, with only the most up to date versions of those mods if there was newer versions then I was already using. Ok, so where am I at now? Well I packaged up Celestials v8 AND ReBorn into shitty ass BSA's ( if you know about packing BSA's you know the main one that the CK uses is ASS, it leaves out a lot and has shit for compression ( read : NONE ). After that you can use the archive tool to repack everything, add in what you need, AND compress it better. I didn't do that yet . I threw them in first of course, and tested, and everything worked PHUCKING GREAT! It worked better then I would have hoped, sans some minor head issues I had with OLDER saves and characters, but that was also me missing a METRIC FUCK TON of other things. Overall, it couldn't have gone better. Now when I fixed my NEW install with Steam, I had forgotten that since I told steam I wanted it once long ago, that steam thought I bought it or something, and it downloaded the Official High Res Texture Packs for me. So my my first start up, was just official stuff and Celestials / reborn. That was it. I was a little taken back by what the game looked like, but thought to myself " don't worry, I can fix it ". So fix it I did, but NOT in a way you might think! See, I've known for a while now that all these high res textures on everything, some of them 4K, are what was stopping me from loading the game say inside a massive dungeon or in whiterun, I would always have to load a game from some small building like a shop or a house basement before THEN loading up that save outside in WhiteRun, but with JUST these options that didn't happen. I decided I LIKED that and was tired of the bullshit I put myself through, so when I was all done I started with some of my more baser options for the ENB I have been using, and reworked the WHOLE THING to make the OFFICIAL stuff look good! Not only that, I dropped the dependency on SweetFX AND I made 3 different version of it for low / med / high end systems! It came out GREAT and even making it look almost the exact same, hell BETTER then it did before with 4k textures, I even UPPED my FPS by 8 - 12. I couldn't be happier with it and it WILL be ready for release soon because dammit, IT LOOKS SO GOOD So after Celestials/Reborn and my enb all got installed, I move on to MY other works. Namely the one you guys all see in my videos and ask about, the SweetSkyrim overhaul. While getting this one all set up and working right didn't go EXACTLY great, I DID manage to see just what I needed to do to get it working from one folder to another, and that is now enough for me to think about getting it ready to share! It WILL STILL BE A LITTLE WHILE, but ya, it's actually a LOT closer to being ready to share then I thought it was. After all that it was simply me loading my first chance to save INSIDE Helgen, checking that everything worked, shutting down, installing ONE SINGLE MOD I wanted ( say SkyUI ), loading the game, checking it worked, configuring it, saving, shutting down, and moving to the next. Even if I wanted the mod, this time around I stayed away from mods I KNOW are VERY script heavy. Things like UnRead Books Glow, it's a GREAT mod, and I have loved using it, but guess what? That mod is script heavy. Not that the scripting is bad, or it is to big a script, it's not that, it is what the script DOES that makes it SO intense ( checks every book everywhere inside the cell you are in ALL the time. It works overtime is what I am saying ) that I won't be using it anymore. What does all this mean? It means my game is now looking great, running great, and working great. I cut my mod list IN HALF ( from 150+ to 70+ ), cleaned up so much crap ( about 20 GIGS worth of crap ), and it was worth it in the end. HOWEVER, for those of you that read this far, and maybe ALSO watch my videos on YouTube, I have some bad news. Because I did all this, MOST of ALL my old saves just won't load anymore, and I can understand why. Sadly this effected my Let's Play Series of videos to. So ya, I have to start them AGAIN, for the THIRD time! The good news is I plan on shooting them this time around with EDITING, not just me playing straight for say and hour and you watching an hour. I now plan to edit them down, so 2 hours of playtime may only be 30 minutes of view time! Not only that, but for those of you who have already watched me up to my last point in the Let's Play, I plan on shooting the new series up to that point BEFORE I release any of them, and having a link to follow in the first of the new videos directing you to that same point in my play time, when I release them ALL at the same time. So basically you will miss out on all the new things / changes / etc I have done since my last video, but in terms of what was going on and where I was when we left off, we will be in the same spot. Before I go I should mention that my wife won't be in my new videos as much as she was. She was in every one before, but now, she will only be in the ones she CAN be in. I don't know what to say, I don't think anyone actually watched them JUST for her, I doubt it, but she was nice to have with me when I did them for someone to talk to. You might want to expect longer silence periods unless I can adapt to talking to someone who is not there ( YOU ).   You can use SkyUI's favorite Menu to form groups that are bound to one key. I.E Group together armor set A to your 9 key and when you hit it it will put it all on. You can even bind the option to specific groups ( so say in this case your 9 key ) to say take everything else off you are wearing first and THEN put on your grouping.    Hope this helps.

  It's already on the main page, your question was already answered for you. Yes you CAN use the transormations as a non - celestial race, maybe you should take the time to read the page and find out what your missing.

My advice, and it will be lost in the sea that is this thread :   Your eyes are the main focus of the face. EVERYTHING you pick, from hair, to nose, to dimples, should be centered on how they focus on the EYES.    Lower eyes may mean a broader forehead, but also mean a more focused view when looking at the character ( the viewers perspective ). A "NORMAL" persons eyes are about even with the TOP of the BRIDGE of the nose. A " Beautiful " character usually has the eyes dropped lower then this, usually around the center or a little higher then the bridge of the nose. For a more youthful look , drop them TO center of the bridge of the nose. Any lower, and it will start to look " Alien " unless you fiddle with Eye Angel as well.   High, sharp cheekbones may be what Hollywood tells you is a beautiful female, but this is not always the case. Again, it has to do with the eyes. Think of Angelina Jolie : sure she has high sharp cheekbones, but look at the placement and ANGLE of her eyes. She also does not look " Young ", though she is attractive. Lower, larger, wider eyes with less angle and lower, rounder cheeks make a more " youthful " character, while higher cheekbones, more narrow cheeks, and more angle to narrow eyes can make a character look more " exotic ". Normal white people are in the middle ( ).    Try to spend time rounding your chin. Sharp chins with no time spent on them look like shit.   When making females avoid wide Jaw lines. Fine tune them to match the EYES ( again, EYES ), cheeks, cheekbones, etc. For males a mid to slightly larger jaw line will look good.   Don't drop the eyes for men to far, you will end up looking like they have down - syndrome and not youthful at all.   Avoid make up at all costs. I mean this, leave it alone. For female characters, long enough Eye lashes ( AGAIN : EYES! ) will make your eyes look dark enough to where you THINK you are wearing makeup. To much makeup will make you look like a slut, not a beautiful female. The idea is to make character that is beautiful WITHOUT needing makeup in the first place. Feel free to add a LITTLE lipstick, but only SLIGHTLY darker then the shade of the lips without. Anything else will end up looking gaudy.    Avoid pure blond hair. I'm not saying DON'T be fair haired, but don't over do it. The only reason is in Skyrim, the color of your eyebrows matches the color of your hair UNLESS you customize that shit. In real life, eyebrows are ALWAYS darker then your hair color. If you end up making a porcelain skin ( I.E : white ) character with the blondest blond hair you can, guess what? We won't be able to see your brows, and your character will look funny.   On the topic of brows : Longer thinner brows denote a older ( ish ) more sensual character, while slightly thicker and shorter brows more youthful. Higher brows from the eyes also more youthful, while lower and closer to the eyes means more sensual.    HAIR : Hair should mostly focus on the overall SHAPE of the face, but also matters in terms of what you want to wear. If your going to wear a nice circlet, stay away from hairs that have long bangs. Is your character a super model? Pick a hair that matches what your wearing AND your theme. Young? Pick a cutie hair that shows off how young she is. Is your character regale? Pick a High hair, something in a top bun, that shows she is a LADY and proper.    There is nothing worse then seeing someone make a sensual face with a cutie brows and regal hair. All while trying to wear a circlet and having clipping with the forehead and any earrings they may be wearing.    If anyone gives a shit and or even bothers to read this after the age of this thread, I might be bothered to share some more tips, but this should be good enough. I hope this helps.   Also, I was trying to be, ON TOPIC.  

So.... a blog entry about my actual MODS and updates about them and not me on a late night drinking binge trash talking things I don't like?! Who woulda thought! Anyway, as some of you may know I've taken the Summer off from modding. Not really because I wanted to, but I didn't have much choice when the Summer first started. Things are a LOT better now, my wife getting laid off ended up hurting us for a little while, but life can be sneaky sometimes, and now she has not only found a new job, but one that pays better AND she is part of a GOOD Union! Holy crap balls! Sad that she has to work 1pm to 12am . . . so once school starts again she won't see our kids at all except on weekends I'm bummed out by this, but there is not much we can do about it, and you have to take the good with the bad.... ARG, derailed there, anyway, so I started working a little here and there when I can on the mods again, but I have SO much more then you guys realize going on in terms of mods I am making / working on / need to update / want to release. Let's just take these OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD : Celestials V8 CelestialReborn WereWolf OverHaul ( update that fixes some things ) VampireLord Overhaul ( update that fixes some things ) VampireLord Overhaul v3 ( different then the above one, that one is just an update ) My ENB My Look replacer for : EVERY Vanilla Female, as well as Vilja, Soojie, Serana, and Ceriwden, and MANY of them Vanilla MEN being changed to FEMALE..... ( god this one is a huge job ). Those are just the ones off the top of my head. As I said, I always have something I'm working on, and right now I still have a HUGE amount on my plate that I would LOVE to share with everyone. My problem is, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START! So yeah, if I ask you guys, I'm of course going to get " CELESTIALS! ALL THINGS CELESTIALS! " lol, but for that I now need my wife, she has taken over half of the workload from me, and she also said she was taking the summer off, and with her new job..... well let's say, it WILL get worked on ( I PROMISE ) but it's not going to be as updated as fast as it used to. The next thing you guys would say is " RELEASE THAT MOD YOU ARE MAKING I SEE IN YOUR VIDEOS THAT CHANGES ALL THE FEMALES LOOKS AND CHANGES MEN INTO FEMALES!!! "..... Actually, this one is "close" to being done, but there are NPC faces here and there I just forgot to export the data for, or that exported incorrectly ( results in mismatched head and body texture ).... so I just need to keep playing through the game and finding all the ones I missed / fucked up on. The other thing is, even when it IS done, OMG packing this mod will be SOOOO time consuming. You guys may not know it, but just getting everything structured and packaged for sharing as a mod takes a good amount of time! My added companions looks also count toward the above for the most part ( Vilja, Serana, etc ). So ya, that leaves patching my old works, releasing a new version of vampirelords, and my enb. Gods I have no clue where to start.....
