Yes I went overboard on certain components. The main target most seem to have is the PSU, but as I said in another thread on a different forum :

I know some parts may seem overkill, like the PSU, and I could have cut that down and used the money for 2x 980's, but I really wanted to future proof the essentials as best as I could, namely things like the mother board, processor, and the power supply. These 3 choices to me seemed like the most important ones, and so while it way seem a BIT overkill, I hope you can understand why I did it.

*edit* and also the monitor. I REALLY hope that thing was worth it. It was a LARGE chunk of my budget.

Again, your kinda missing the point of Nexus STAFF being total assholes.

Whatever's the least amount of work first. Closing as many things on that to-do list, leaving the big bits to last -- less stuff to think about once you begin working on the more time consuming projects.

I would say my ENB is the closest thing to being ready to release. It actually IS ready to be released, then updated as needed. I just have no idea where to put it. I can make it an LL exclusive like almost all my other mods, but I have no idea where to put it, or how many people would see it. I could stick it on Nexus, but even heavily modified, the ENB DOES draw off some assets from other mod makers. Not to say I just left them " as is ", if I do that, I always tell people they have to Download that OTHER mod first to make what I did work, kinda like my making Celestials have wings and fly REQUIRE p1Flying, no most are just changed aspects of those files, we learn from the shoulders of giants and all that. Thing about nexus STAFF is though, they don't give two shits, and if the mod author you even LINKED to doesn't say " you can use this but link to me " in permissions, YOU'RE FUCKED. So I'm always worried about it. ESPECIALLY since a LOT of these mod authors are just not around anymore, and so I can ASK for permission, but never get it since I will never get an answer. BTW it is simply my DOF setting included for Screen Shots I worry about, the DOF I include for normal 3RD PERSON PLAY was made by me.....

My dad sinks further into dementia every day.  He wants to be the old him, but he doesn't remember the constant crazy shit he does.  Life does indeed suck.  My opinion is that there is indeed a Devil, but no yin-yang nonsense.  The devil kicked God's ass and the only reason we don't suffer more is he's not omnipotent and only has so much time to torture us. The good news is video games are fun, when my dad isn't asking me if I have a shot to change his baby's sex.

MY Dad did not have mental problems like that. He was abusive, a drunk, he beat me, I ran away more times then I can remember, etc, but he had his mind until the end.

My WIFE's mother however ( my mother in-law ), also suffered full blown dementia, and she came to live with me and my family toward the end. It got so bad I couldn't get her to eat, and I eventually called 911 and had them come and pick her up. Sadly she also died a few months later in the hospital, so while it wasn't MY father it happened to, I understand fully what you are talking about.

Thanks, though that was just part 1 of Episode 1. I left it to upload just before I went to bed, and started uploading part 2 when I woke up, and it's uploading right now and will be available sometime in the next couple hours.. Part 2 is a bit longer, but we actually fire up the game, create the character, and go over some of the aspects of being a Celestial, including the new stuff coming in V7

Does the overhaul contain sex fights? Like defeating your enemies by fucking? That would fit then...

There are not only mods that already do this I think, but it is not something I am interested in adding to this mod, no.

I couldn't play the game with all thes unrealistically huge boobs and ridiculous outfits. If your main focus of skyrim is seeing gaint tittied half naked women, there are better games out there for that.

@Misplaced Reality : I hear ya there. I saw the new entry on the front page, read it, and read through the new ToS. One of the reasons Celestial's is not on Nexus is because they have just to strict a policy. The fact I can't upload a mod that uses another modders assets, even if I HAVE permission to do so, if that mod is also NOT on Nexus, makes Celestial's impossible to upload there and also strikes me as REALLY going Nazi state on people. It seems as though their rules are designed to make Nexus the ONLY place to download mods, and trying to burn all other mod sites. Dick move.

@Mudchop : I don't think giving mod authors the ability to moderate their own mods is a bad thing. Even if the mod is "TEH BEST PHUCKING MOD EVAAAA!!" if the author ends up being a dick and acting like one, that will reflect on the amount of reviews and downloads in the end.

@evasiaducth : The main point of this blog entry and of Nexus is not that they are saying " you will have to pay to download mods ". The point is the Ad revenue they generate from you, as well as selling your personal information you used when signing up. Even if you never have to pay a single cent to use the site and download, Nexus is still making money off you, and as a money making asset, they should definitely NOT be treating mod authors with such disdain, since it is the authors that bring in the downloaders in the first place. 

As for kids visiting Nexus, I think you really need to think about things. I'm sure at any given time there is a 12 or 13 year old browsing the " adult only " section here on LL. It is very hard to police the internet, simply because it is so easy to lie.

What I did was I found I VERY cool but VERY unbalanced mod on 3dmgames,com ( Chinese ) and began to rework it. No, the the voices for say Lucan will still be " men " voices, but what you see is what you get. What I am doing is not only reworking all the NPCS as seen in the screenshots, but also making the game "harder" by re balancing it at the same time.

Consider it a complete overhaul of Skyrim.

Oh ya I forgot to mention, I finished a guide I was writing to help people with CTD issues this morning. You can find it in the Skyrim General discussion section of LoversLab. I love to frequent the Skyrim Technical Support section to see if I can help anyone, but got tired of having to retype the same reponse to " Help I keep CTD'ing when I do X " posts.
