  hah wtf man don't fucking look at me (=   Mod Organizer is not tuff... NMM creates a mindset that's hard to shake. Breaking that thinking is the hard part.

If you're using Mod Organizer, double check your load.    I have found that bodyslide is indecisive as to where it's going to output a mesh. with my main body, the tera set and the chronotrigger set, it can sometimes save to any of those installs as well as Overwrite.   besides body, double check your skeleton... for bodyslide + hdt, xpmse is the most stable option. verify that no other skeleton is loaded.   You can check both of these in the Data tab on the right. Navigate to the item in question and see where it's loading from.   [edit] also check other outfits. sometimes an outfit mesh was made with a fucked up skeleton and AFAIK that can't be fixed without the aforementioned modelling software.  

bodies are always gettin in all the other meshes.   Between CT77 Body, CBBE Body HDT, AND the body that is installed as part of the CT77 pack, you can wind up with problems.   Whenever I have a "hey that's not my body" problem, I always solve it by doing this: "save preset" check everything save the file. quit/restart bodyslide change the outfit to anything else change the outfit BACK to the one you want. Done. That usually does the trick for me. 

  I suggest this because it clearly works for people wanting to model.   However . . . My personal opinion of the software is completely contrary to my recommendation. I quite literally hate the program as I would hate someone that killed my children. Thru no fault of my own, it would never work for me the way advanced tutorials would advertise, and I could never get it to work beyond making a few surfaces or modifying existing    The pinnacle of this came when I received an error message "Instancing not supported for this action". It yielded ZERO hits in both google and yahoo. All the hits you see now are derivative of posts I made on autodesk forums or stack exchange. Not that I was trying to do anything complex either. Animations are no different. I'd follow whatever tutorial for importing skyrim animations and they were simply unusable. Had a modder (ACDale, ADEC mesh artist) send me is "baseline" file that contained the body, all animations, skinning, etc... and even that was afu.   To be clear: My hatred for 3ds max (and autodesk as well) for perennially putting out little more than add-ons to this big, giant, honkin, filthy, piece of shit, syphilitic, trashfuck pile of software is simply boundless. The company and the software should locked in a car for the entirety of a hot August week in Mexico City and then taken out of park and allowed to roll silently into the nearest cesspool. Fuck them, fuck 3dsMax. Fukkem. Hard. In a chest wound.   But... as I said... it works for most and is defacto for skyrim, so there you have it. Download the software and us it well. And then never pay for it.

To start with 3dsmax, you go to the site, register as an unemployed student, and you'll get a license for 1 personal copy.   There's tons of "getting started with 3ds Max" tutorials out there. The Help Files and Starting Tutorials for it are pretty good as well. then there's the Nightasy video set on youtube.   that should get you started (=

  This is the fucking truth right here.   I still think you should pack it all up in a single mod. It's an eclectic mix of outfits, but it still rox ur sox.

  Not just bad news, ALL news.   I do this. I remind myself that there's nothing new under the sun. And when I have a bad day, I remember that tomorrow is another day because this, too, shall pass. When I have a good day, I don't necessarily shit all over it by saying that, but I'm fully aware that tomorrow is another day.   Here's another thing: melancholy begets melancholy. People with that kind of mentality (that aren't clinically depressed) will swear up and down that they don't want to be like that, while denying any and all attempts to help. I mean you can lead a horse to water, right?   There's no magic bullet to make it all go away. It takes work. The individual has to remind themselves that they don't suck and then they have to go do something about it... get out in public. take your device to a local anywhere to surf reddit and loverslab, even if for :20. Go somewhere different for lunch. It takes more work to keep yourself in the funk than it does to crawl out from under it.    And this whole thing is just another way of saying "What are you going to do about it?" . . .   . . .Well? Nobody can help you if you don't help yourself. So what are you going to do about it?

  3 things:  You could use Blender, it is 100% free and there are resources for learning how to deal with skyrim nifs. You could use 3ds Max, it is free for people that declare themselves a student in the process of applying for a free version. I think you should use either 2011 or 2012. Both programs will take more energy to learn that these quick & dirty conversions are worth IMO. You have provided a valuable service. To state plainly, you are converting outfits that people would otherwise never see in bodyslide because -- for whatever reason -- they can't get their head wrapped around Outfit Studio.   You have done very well in sticking with that goal by not getting bogged down in details... the specific variation outfit I requested, shorts only from a single outfit in a large collection, things like that. While it's kind of disappointing for us -- and this is actually a really good example -- you cracked out 3 conversion in the time it took me to try to explain shit.    Therefore, my suggestion to you is to stay that course. To table that conversion (and others) for when you have time to learn professional-caliber modelling software to do a proper conversion.   Someone will invariably bring up the Nightasy tutorial series on youtube, that you can "just watch those vids, they're very good" and they're right... and you could have managed 3 more conversions in the time it took to watch the first video.   And i think you should reach the magic number 42 converted outfits and pile it all together for a general release.

  If you take a quick peek at that path in nifskope, you'll see the difference. It's not really a duplicable effect in bodyslide.

Chicks 4 SPODUM View / Download File First of all, you need this: Portable OnDemand Disposable Unlimited Mannequins SPODUM by SLuckyD A complex mod with a simple goal: make mannequins more relevant. Chicks 4 SPODUM changes: Male mannequins are now female. The "female" choices are name females from the game with body weights > 50 The "male" choices are generic females from the game (bandits & such) with body weights < 50 The original mod uses a big huge giant pedestal model. I removed it. The Upside: If you put mannequins upstairs, you can now walk around downstairs. The Downside: Now you can't vertically place the char without using a different mod. (Jaxonz Positioner) BUG: there's a generic character that MAY appear when Mirabelle Ervine is chosen. It's not Mirabelle, and for me it had the grey face bug.   Hey could I trouble you for a single outfit from this same set? The SH (silly huge) versions are all just bigger boobs . . .   Except for one which has a push-up effect.   No. It uses the PC body and texture. There's probably a way to get it done by rescripting it.

  It is not stand alone and cannot be stand alone. It simply adds to the other mod.   If you have dark faces on this, put it lower in your load order. The faces fix is part of the mod and something else may be overwriting them. Definitely make sure it's below the original.

  Jeepers!   I just got dawnguard installed and was SEVERELY dismayed to see the vanilla-shaped outfits.   Gee thanks, A Noob! You're the greatest!
