  1. For ... being easier to travel? Immersion and stuff?

Well dare i say that most homes in that period of human history weren't on a road. having a homestead 100 yards off the beaten path would be nothing new. Besides, it would be little more than a fast travel target for most people anyway.

Also, it doesn't prevent you from creating a path to a road by using large stones. there's a number of flattish rocks (like the ones in the big open area behind breeze home) that can create a path by clipping 99% of it into the groundwithout feeling or looking out of place. You could do the same thing with any fencing... Both are absolutely lore and period.

I'm currently looking for a new player home, something along the lines of this.

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65673/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D65673%26preview%3D&pUp=1

Also best player homes are not within the vicinity of whiterun or riverwood, i don't like it when they are by the starting areas, better when they are hidden and far away from them. Maybe around the beaches or hills of Dawnstar or the mountains by Markarth, nothings ever over there.

Personally, I like homes that are centrally convenient. That doesn't mean Whiterun/Riverwood exactly, but it's hard not to be near there.

If you look at the map, the space between Whiterun and Rorikstead is relatively empty, but nobody ever puts anything in there. There's some nice plains and alcoves in there for homesteads.

Unfortunately there are few roads through that empty area.

    Roads?

    marty-future-doc.jpg

    Where we're going, we don't need . . . roads.

seriously . . . what do you need a road for?

And dude . . . outside, 10am or 2pm, at least somewhat facing the sun.

Yeah, these aren't much better.  When I said you needed better lighting, I meant you should stand in an area with a lot of light.  Not underneath the archway of the Dragonsreach balcony.  Just go stand in the overworld (areas outside of Whiterun) around noon, cast Clear Skies, and start snapping photos when the sun comes out.

so it occurs to me that he might not know how to gidderdun

    1) console > coc whiterun (this will put you on the bridge near whiterun.

    2) console > fw 81a (force weather 81a = clear skies)

    3) set timescale to 1 (:01 gametime = :01 realtime (default is 20))

    4) 3rd person view > console > tfc (toggle free cam to fly around. tfc 1 instead will activate free cam AND freeze the world)

    5) console > sucsm 1 (set user cam speed multiplier = 1, to slow the camera down)

    position, take some shots.

alternatively you could get my mod Work Studios . . . black, white, blue room for exactly this purpose. it's well lit and you'll be floating in color (or lack thereof).

i know but right now i creating other body this one is more complicated then TBs so i will upload more Pictures when i get the time.

Here's a thought: The one thing I've seen most problematic with towers isn't the roundness, it's the huge spaces It's extremely difficult to make those giant rotunda's and superwide hallways and rotating stairs feel like home . . . not to mention all the friggin ugly stone.

Something I've done with personal spaces is using wharf walkways as dividers and what I call "front walls"  . . . take a short section (of the wharf), set it just in front of an interior wall with a bit of space in between (not big enough to walk in between them). My skyrim is hosed at the mo (has been since before Cities Skylines came out) otherwise I'd just bump a screenshot.

Anyway this does 3 things... adds depth, adds color (a bit of red/brown cuts the grey nicely), and helps manage the space. I used the helgen tower (the very first interior space you enter in the game) as the basis for a home and using those walls I was able to make a nice living room/kitchen area with stairs up to a 2nd level for bedroom and storage. You could do this kinda thing >>   __----__   (bottom facing the room) against the curved wall.

I also found that using really large pieces like the dragonsreach dining tables, or even some of the odder shaped wharf pieces, but clipping them mostly into the walls until you get a nice shape, also does wonders for squaring the usable space without necessarily squaring the 'feel'. Wall-based lighting also makes it feel more homey. top dead center is more efficient, yes, but it's ... uninteresting.

    Just a couple thoughts.

Oh also quest . . . Next travel to Dawnstar, the town is under bandit attack. When they're quelled, you should go speak to the Jarl. He asks you to clear out bandits from this potential homestead. You get there and it's not just bandits, it's <something more heinous>. Then after you're done, jarl offers you the deed as payment for services rendered and says he'll get townfolk to "clean the place up in a couple days." Voila... useful home-gaining quest.

Yeah I tried to divide up and color the walls a bit in my last mod, but it was my first home and I have no desire to go back to it to be honest. Thanks for the pointers though :)

I like that, although it seems a bit too "vanilla" for me personally. Then again, maybe I shouldn't be so ambitious with my first quest project so that might be just the thing!

yeah it is vanilla (= but as you said, ambitious which is why i suggested vanilla.

Of course, it could just as easily work as a seed for something less vanilla. Instead of bandits, it could be trolls or vamps or hagravens or spriggans or anything really where nobody has any idea where the lair is but "they came from the west"

Also, while a quest is kinda cool, sometimes people just want the player home. A light :30 quest isn't much of an addition to it while being a little something extra.

*just gonna throw that in and run away quickly*

Wrong thread. Neither this post nor your tumblr link gives any details on how you made your character.

The thread for showing off your character is here.

I see, thank you for the info

You could politely see yourself out OR, you could, you know, list the mods you used for that look. Maybe even post your bodyslide preset in the SYBP thread?

I noticed when you released it that your YT and my FFW (barely published) were very VERY similar. I mean really similar. I'm a fan of the low-hips look as well. So tonight I did a quick little comparison.

I wanted to dupe your low-hips look, but the way you did it minimized the buttocks too much for me. Also being a li'l thicker in the midsection keeps the TBBP walk from being really serpentine looking.

I dunno . . . just sayin (=  I was really surprised at how similar they were.

  13. I got it, thanks again. Would you also be able to give me a bit of help with Tit Kit v1? I installed Racemenu 3.0.1, but there is no more Overlay Tab to

select the Tit Kit textures. Racemenu 2.9.6 has the Overlay tab, but it is missing a lot of features that 3.0.x has so I prefer to use later versions.

    Cheers

  15.

    Any suggestions on this post?

I realize that the instructions on the nexus page kind of "work around" the expectations of CK... unless I've read it wrong, it's not about creating a quest at all but giving CK what it wants so that the modder (me) can attach a script to the player and create a player-related esp.

I have a .psc that's ready to go, I just need to do the attach part and save the esp but the nexus instructions aren't getting it done.

How can I get past that hump?

    0

  16. Now I show the second version of my breton-elf character. I changed eyelashes; created a good make-up and most importantly, I corrected her ass! (I do not found tattoos for ECE yet, and growing belly waiting, when I will set LL-mods). Tomorrow I'm going to increase (a little bit) her legs, and reduce (a little bit) her breasts. I think I'll leave the breasts type such as on screen presented below (I like erect, swollen and protruding nipples, as if she is constantly aroused and horny! ^-^ )

    3356667d291cd169ecc5c9f55cdd3614.jpg

Yes, on screen is the elf with 0 weight.

According to history, she is enslaved princess, which was sold to the Argonians (yes, you are right) for breeding and procreation... Argonians poisoned her by some potion, which increased metabolic rate, thus not depending of the food, which they feeded her, and number of births, she can't grow fat. But it can't be said about the increase breast and growing belly at every pregnancy. The strange thing, that after giving birth, her breasts again reduced to its original size...

How did she get in Skyrim? Very simple. She was transported by slavers-ship that wrecked off the coast of Skyrim. Miraculously survived, she was ready to taste freedom, but suddenly her stunned and get slaved again. At this time, her slavers was ordinary bandits. And everything went according to the new, but the bandits did not care about her, as her former master. They allowed themselves to make a lot of piercings in her body, make slave-tattooes and used her in different ways...

    51ba822feb9d74fda7744d15e1708e6b.png

Thus, to complete preset / character-save, I need a couple of days because I need additional mods, such as: "fill her up", "milking economy", "slavetats", is. Ultimately, depending on her weight, she will have largely increase breast (because it required for "milking economy"), her legs will little put on weight and, of course, her belly will increase.

  17. I'm having a problem doing the creationkit part of a racemenu plugin. I did it before and released the mod but hell if I know how I did it.

I followed the instructions on the nexus page, but get hung up at "Click [New Script], give the script a name". Does that mean double click? click does nothing, but double click brings up a screen where I can enter a name.

The true showstopper is after entering a name, it appears to try and compile the script that it just created, which of course is empty and leads to failure. Then goes back to the "Add New Script" screen, without using that script.

So where do I go from there?
