  This reminds me of something my dad used to do to amuse himself (because he's a massive asshole like that). He would find a choice parking spot in a parking lot for some mall or popular store this time of year, and he'd just sit there in the spot for hours with his reverse lights on.

On the topic of Skeevers, a friend showed me a WIP H-Game recently called "Hounds of the Blade" that has some animal animations, one of which being giant rats. Might be worth looking into for some inspiration.

  Because it's a discussion worth having. Sometimes threads turn into a circlejerk, true. Sometimes it's just pointless nonsense. This thread, as argumentative as it has been at times, serves to bounce ideas off one another. Not everyone on the GG side agrees with every point and belief held by other GG members, and the same can be said of the anti-GG side. And obviously both sides are at odds, so what are people supposed to do? Where are we supposed to discuss it? This thread is in General Discussion. There's no special "hot button topics" category. And it makes sense to me to discuss this issue on a forum relating to video games, even more appropriately, one that deals very heavily with the topic of sexual depiction of women in games. And of course there's going to be bias here. It's LoversLab for chrissakes. Not making fun of this site, just stating, due to content, most of the people here are generally on the same page, or at least, the same chapter. Hardcore SJW's on this site make as much sense to me as a fundamentalist evangelical on r/atheism.   Also keep in mind that some people won't ever change their minds on things. Regardless of what they believe in or stand for, some people can have number, after fact, after statistic thrown in their face, and they will not give two shits about it. Their concern will be with whatever they already think is right. No one can change anyone else's mind. You can provide evidence and facts, you can persuade and reason with, but in the end, the decision to change their mind about something is up to them and them alone. I believe in reason and logic and evidence, don't get me wrong, but you can scream at people who you think are wrong all day long and it'll be as effective as trying to kick water uphill.   I dunno about others, but I notice I have this tendency to automatically want to oppose some people who act in a hostile or confrontational way. Example, most of us have seen that guy in our locales that gets up on a street corner with a megaphone and a bible, and starts preaching about how we need to repent or we'll all burn in hell and accosting random people who want nothing to do with him? Most of us walk right past with the general mindset of "fuck this guy". And I've seen the opposite. I've seen a militant atheist do the exact same shit, spouting about how religion wrecks everything and there's no good point to it. Fucking hell, I'm an atheist and I was thinking "if this bitch even looks my way I'm going to tell her 'I'll pray for you.' " Just because fuck her for being a shithead.   This is not to rail on anyone in particular, and I've been trying to remain neutral on this as I believe both sides have legitimate points. I'm just stating why I believe this topic should stay up. Don't take action against the topic for the actions and responses of a few.    EDIT: Also, if it's locked, people can't bring new data or info to the table. A discussion that stagnates, dies.

I'm fucking tired of broken eyes. Eyeglasses are so goddamned inconvenient. They smudge, they smear, and if you get scratches, welcome to smudges and smears that never go away, like big blaring neon signs that can never be turned off. And contacts? Who the fuck wants to stab their self in the eyes every fucking morning and night? Laser surgery? Hope you've got five grand to spare PER EYEBALL.

It's a good place. I was apprehensive when I joined here too, but these shitheads are some of the more open minded, and non-judgemental people I've ever seen online. Some can be annoying, but every internet forum has those. On the whole, this place is good. Far less douchebaggery and circlejerking than a loooot of other places I could name.

People that get offended over words. I recently had some harpy berate me for using the word "retarded" as offensive towards those who are have mental deficiencies. She said the proper terminology was "intellectually disabled", and that using the word "retarded" instead was no better than using the word "nigger". So I asked her "What are you, intellectually disabled or something?" The look on her face could have turned the Kraken to stone.   No word is bad by default. A word is merely a sound that comes out of our mouths that can be represented by phoenetic symbols and letters. It's how people use words and terms that define what their intention is. You cannot change that. Trying to remove a word from use thinking it's going to solve people being mean or not liking others is like trying to ban all firearms ever thinking it's going to stop crime, or thinking banning all birth control is going to solve teen pregnancy.   If you are offended by any word in any language, it's probably because your parents were unfit to raise a child.

I feel it's fair to point out a lot of the supposed SJW "supporters" have engaged in harassment, doxxing, and threats of their own. I think I remember seeing posts about them obtaining the phone number of a 10 y/o. The douchebaggery has not been exclusive to just the GG side of things.

I don't know how many know of it, but gog.com is a place where you can get games, full games, no drm. You buy it, that copy is yours forever. Sadly, it's mostly older games, but I have seen promo's for the Witcher 3 and a few others.   EDIT: This is not a testimonial or an advert, just wanted to point out that there are alternatives to steam

  Digital distribution's the way of the future. Helluva way to cut out the middle man. Gamestop's going to die someday because of it (and good riddance). The only thing that concerns me is games being linked to accounts. So if you account get's banned, for whatever reason, all your games and money spent are now null and void.
