@Caliente, I'm not sure if this is correct but the BSLightingShaderProperty, isn't that the method used to define SSS or sub surface shading? Because, you noted how this 'changes' the skin from being 'wet' to 'burned' as well.

The Unreal engine can do it but it is quite painful to make. I've tried loading the UE4.8 Demo which includes the large open world demo showcased at this years GDC. It took 3 days for it to load and runs at 50fps at 1080p. Now, that's considering it has uncompressed textures and meshes but the engine does feel better suited for small but continuously loading areas which is against what Creation Engine 2.0/Gamebryo 4.0 can do. And to answer the second one, they could. It's just that no one actually tried or are constrained by what they're good at. CD Projeck shows it could be done but there are a lot of limitations as the world is practically defined by the writer and the lore. The only one that might come close would be Cyberpunk 2077 but I have slight doubts about their ability to make an expansive world that isn't constrained by lore.

You could argue the same can be pointed at the Witcher series as well. They needed mutations, certain levels and certain talents to unlock their abilities. Look at other games and they're 'artificially locked' behind a level. So you can't really argue that tBethesda is being shit about it. Honestly, if you don't like, then don't comment on it. Simple. You are the one that's coming in and making all these noises for what? Out of all the games thus far, the Witcher is pretty much up there as the best RPG followed very closely with Fallout 4. The Witcher certainly shits on Fallout 4 in terms of the NPCs and the interactions but that's the main focus of the Witcher really. Combat and everything else seems secondary in the Witcher. I'm certainly not praising Fallout 4 as there are a lot of areas of improvement but it is certainly their best effort thus far. And I'll be interested to see how the future brings for it.

Cool story there, bro. If you want, you can just, you know, go to No Mutants Allowed and enjoy your time there. Have a nice stay.

Didn't know that. If it was a little bit more obvious, then I wouldn't have need to go through all that trouble!

Interesting idea, jzc. I always thought that was the case when I first saw Power Armor. Might need to learn that when I come across that place again. EDIT: Anyone tried to get rid of clothes off your companions? Reason being is that I wanted Piper to wear better armor than her trench-coat. But it looks like they won't wear it. There aren't any familiar console commands that I know to do this.

You need to build Power Poles next to the houses you want to power. That's how I did my houses. Build the generator, then build a power pole next to the house in question then all things needing power will light up instantly.

So in a sense, Hotline Miami is also bad because it uses 16 bit graphics? What about Papers Please, 8 bit graphics? Judging graphics is probably the most laughable thing ever really. Want to see a downgrade? Watch videos comparison Black Ops 3 on current and next gen. @HanPL, is that from the strategy guide?

Yeah, I've got an R9 290 as well so it'll be interesting to see if AMD does pop up a hotfix driver for us. So far, the bitching about the need to have a better computer really cracks me up. Do you really expect gaming to still be using systems that are more than 3 years old? I don't think so. If you feel so strongly about this, play on a console.

Hey there, CPU. Here's the Log file that you wanted. GenerateFNIS_LogFile.txt EDIT: If you're wondering, this is what I've faced with when Sexlab loads.
-
Hey guys, I've installed the new Sexlab on a brand new Skyrim game. I already have run FNIS 6.0 to make sure that all the animations are registered properly. But when it comes to in-game, I cannot start any animations. Match Maker indicates something is happening but my character does nothing. There is an error message in which it notes my character cannot be assigned to animations. So I opened the MCM and there was no animations there. So, I tried restarting Sexlab to see if that works. No dice. So any ideas why the animations is missing or am I missing a step completely?
-
@CPU, I did initialise Sexlab as per the instructions on Ashal's post. After that was done, I checked in the animation tab, still nothing. FNIS didn't pick up on any errors so I assume it's fine. @badbat, done it twice and no errors or warnings present.

Prepacked HDT-SM - HDT Skinned Mesh Physics with Modding Guide
sora3 replied to Uhuru N'Uru's topic in HDT Physics Extension
About the errors, it's referencing the OpenCL packages but can't find the damn things. That's why Skyrim is throwing a hissy fit and then CTD after that. @MajinCry, I'll try and install this on my Phenom 2 system and see if it works. But I think the SDK should unlock the OpenCL needed for the CPU. EDIT: Just like to point out that SMP has OpenCL 2.0 DISABLED from the start. If you enable it, it'll state your graphics card and the number of shader pipelines within. Also, the skeleton needs to be changed as well as I tend to get CTD with the latest XPMSE skeleton so dunno why that's happening... -
Prepacked HDT-SM - HDT Skinned Mesh Physics with Modding Guide

@boo, are you using ENB? SMP doesn't like ENB since Dx9 doesn't like OpenCL running together... -
Prepacked HDT-SM - HDT Skinned Mesh Physics with Modding Guide
sora3 replied to Uhuru N'Uru's topic in HDT Physics Extension
The files on both the 3dm and on one of the posts are the same. The dll is the same but the difference is the config files and meshes. ledo4ek has provided a method to add SMP to meshes which he's attached to a few of his posts. With regards to OpenCL, if you're running Windows 7 then you'll need the OpenCL2.0 drivers for AMD and nVidia. With Windows 8 and up, your graphic drivers should contain the OpenCL drivers already. You just need to unlock via the relevant SDKs/drivers. AMD users should go here: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/ nVidia users should aim for the latest drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/91811/en-us -
About 25% of MGS5 on the PS4, more beta testing with World of Warships, getting my Fallout 3 & New Vegas fix with A Tale of Two Wastelands and starting another rebuild of my Skyrim playthrough.

Usually missing meshes. The game tries to find the meshes only to have it missing so it renders it as invisible. Check that the armour doesn't have separate pieces which need to be batch built. Otherwise, check the originals and see if you need to add the missing meshes in.

So far, I've managed to get up to 58 dwellers and was lucky enough to get 3 Power Armour and as well as Three Dog in my lunchboxes. Bought a few more and got garbage dwellers and a lot of assault rifles. Managed to get 2 dwellers levelled in their SPECIAL to max and sent them scouting. One's found a Fat Man, awesome sauce...

Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
sora3 replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
That's the problem when you have a scripting engine that's runs separate with the game engine instead of being integrated like GTA's. In terms of GB size, we don't know. But we will know the specifications very soon, perhaps at the end of this month by the earliest. -
Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
sora3 replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
I don't know what you're trying to say here but I'm assuming it will be this: "I don't want the saves to be tied with my mods. However, I also want the saves to be separate just like how GTA 4 and 5 do theirs." At this stage, we don't know. So far, Todd Howard did say that they're trying their best not to have the corrupted save debacle that Skyrim had. I won't post the interview as you can probably Google it easily. So far, more info has been posted about Fallout 4 and the interesting thing is that there is no level cap. So essentially, you want to be the superhero? Be our guest. -
Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.
sora3 replied to Gameplayer's topic in Fallout 4 General Discussion
Oddly enough, I'm having no problems with Windows 10 and Skyrim or any of the Fallouts. In any case, let's just steer it back to FO4 now... Anyone up to watching the Gamescom stream for potentially more gameplay vids? -
Fallout 4! In like 4 1/2 months, its real.

Skills was a terrible system really. I'm a master at guns and yet there is a bloody odd chance that my gun won't do X damage and miss instead? Fuck that. If I wanted that system, I'd play Divinity or Wasteland 2, not Fallout. Honestly, I'd think Bethesda has made some good choices over 'their' vision of what Fallout 4 is and that's saying something. EDIT: Also thinking about it, this makes the SPECIAL choices even more crucial. Want a woman that's smooth? Go for Charisma. Want a nerd? Go with Intelligence. This might be the first Fallout I might genuinely enjoy. -
SexLab Amorous Adventures [v2.08.01] (2015/11/09)
sora3 replied to FoxFingers's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
Nice to see you working, Fox. ATM, I'm just editing a few characters. Seems that Uthgerd might be getting something since she has quite a few lines which I can edit. Hopefully, I could get this tested ASAP once I actually learn how to script a damn quest and scene... Any hints or tuts on this? -

I agree with RealCardia if you could roughly point out what different voices are utilised and if they are in mp3 or ogg format... -
SexLab Amorous Adventures [v2.08.01] (2015/11/09)
sora3 replied to FoxFingers's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
Hey FoxFingers, is there any chance that there might be more? ATM, there are several characters that really need additional love that I can think of. 1) Uthgerd is a good candidate as she is a follower with a relatively weak background. I'd recommend perhaps adding to her story with something about the fight that she took a life. Perhaps have an NPC related to that dead recruit wanting revenge and having Uthgerd make amends for that. 2) Old Book nails it with several characters at Winterhold needing attention there. 3) I never stayed long in Dawnstar with nothing really tying me with the place. So I'd suggest having a few stories up there, such as Beitild wanting both mines, Madena's trauma and curing it, plus Karita wanting her father to love again. So those are the basic lines I'll leave with. There are a lot of suggestion I could do but I might need to figure out how they best fit within Skyrim.
